“The atmosphere and service was fantastic, as usual. I must say, the food was not as tasty as previous visits to Underhill. Both the pork chop and roasted chicken (usually my favorite) entrees were dry and skimpy and the salad as a starter was tiny. We definitely got hit with a dose of "shrinkflation".“

“Great local Italian restaurant. Hidden gem in bronxville. The restaurant is definitely a home that was flipped. The service was fantastic. Not a lot of people one a Sunday night which made it even better. Perfect for a date night. I had two espresso martinis which were ok. The spicy pomegranate marg was delicious, would definitely order again. Started off with a Cesar salad and grilled rock shrimp. The grilled shrimp was super fresh and delicious. For the entree we ordered the pumpkin ravioli which I wouldn't really recommend because it was heavy on the pumpkin and the branzino which was great. Definitely returning for the margs and to try more food off their menu!“

“I ordered a BLT and the taste was good but the sandwich was a little skimpy. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was cute (old fashioned diner). Price was about $5 more than I've paid elsewhere.Parking: Parking is difficult because of the Bronxville train station. You have to pay for parking.“

“My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. Always have a great time here and love to get good BBQ even this far north!Kid-friendliness: A bit loud for kids, but they put out a coloring page with crayons. There are a few racy pictures on the wall, but they're high up in the corner and my 4 year old didn't notice. She's too focused on the excellent mac and cheese“

As great and fresh as the food was, Izzy definitely went above and beyond to make a great experience even better.The food was authentic, freshly prepared but came out in a timely fashion. Baklava was light and flaky- the vanilla ice cream accompanying it had crushed pistachios on top- really went above and beyond for the little touches that might get overlooked by some clients. “Quaint, friendly, family-owned café with delicious offerings all around.I've been going once a week the past month, and I've tried almost everything this place offers. The food is incredible (I'm most partial to the croissants). From the coffee to the breakfast offerings to the truffles, I haven't had something I didn't think was excellent. And they make it all in-house!The staff is great. I've been in during busy times and slower times, and they're always working hard and friendly. (And the cute barista behind the counter is always nice to see.)I've worked in service in the past and so it's impressive to see them in action when the lines start forming. Really love going there. The waiter was very friendly and made note to not use ghee on the Coconut Naan and Masala Dosa when my husband told him he is vegan. I loved the Tandoori Chicken, best I've tasted and so tender! “Stumbled upon this place when me and the wife cancelled a dinner and show downtown and decided to stay local. It was one of the best dinners experiences we have had in a while. Drinks where great and innovative. Our bartender was amazing and super friendly. They had a 3 course prefix for $35 which was not only a great deal, but every dish was amazing, I had the duck and my wife had the curry. bartender was kind enough to introduce us to the owner/chef and we chatted about their how a Puertorrican/Peruvian and Bengali couple decided to follow their dream and open up a place in homage to their astrological signs.Let me tell you, it worked out amazing. Have been back several times since that first experience and it just keeps getting better.“

“Delicious house made granola at brunch time.Second time around i had a burger for brunch. My brother gets them every time. I asked to leave out a few things and they did it correctly and didn't seem bothered by it.Despite the fact that the inside of the restaurant is huge, and 75% of it was full, we got our food quite quickly.With the burger you can have fries or a small salad. For the burgers they also had a bernaise sauce? It's on the side so it is optional. Over the last 20 years in that neighborhood, I have gone at least 80% of the time.The one drawback is that they played music in the background that can make it hard to hear.“

“Fantastic restaurant with such romantic flair, super cozy and the food is served in large portions for one person! We had the Garlic bread with goat cheese which was splendid, the butternut squash soup is a must try and the rigatoni/bolognese were delightful. Our waitress Madeline was stupendous and super patient to our party with 4 kids. Very grateful for her continuous attentiveness. the only thing I would say or take the subway or an Uber as parking is so scarce. We’re here on a Wednesday night!“

“THE BEST! gelato. This was the best idea for Englewood! I shouldn't rave because it will only get busier, and there is often a line. The experience begins when you step into Bianco Nero. It's as if you stepped into Italy. They offer some delicious flavors , especially chocolate hazelnut. Some flavors are rotated so that there are surprises to entice you. Of course, they have sprinkles and fun cones in different sizes and cups, but the best part is the GELATO!“

The coffee was strong with hint of sour flaove which I do not like, but other than that everything else was okay.There isn't much sitting here so it's best for take out.Parking: More parking lot in the back of the building.“

“We found this place on a spur of the moment lunch date decision and so glad we did as we really enjoyed ourselves so much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. The owner Stephanie I think is her name was so welcoming and even let our dog come join us as it was late and not crowded in the front. Our service was perfect too and I will return for sure maybe for dinner to try the other pasta dishes and more pizza.“

“Cookies looked so good we forgot to take a picture of the actual box of cookies we ordered. We got the box of four, Kitchen Sink, Stuffed Nutella, S’mores & OG Chunk. All the cookies were super fresh; hard but soft outside with a gooey warm inside..YUM! My favorite was the OG Chunk (had some sea salt on top) and the stuffed nutella. The kitchen sink was also very good especially with the potato chips but I just wish it didn’t have caramel drizzle on top. Definitely want to come again to try other flavors, but one thing I did have a problem with is the political views on the outside of the door. I do wish I noticed before walking in but I think political views on the outside of a cookie store is not necessary. Other than that, great cookies!“

“First time here and we walked away impressed. Puffy dog was my personal favorite, but all were good. Fries were super crispy. They have parking in the back and a large outdoor eating area. Very family friendly, will have to come back to try their other milkshake flavors.“

“I’ve been so many times to this cafe that I’ve lost count. I’ve been going here since it first opened — when we were not even allowed to stay inside because of the pandemic in the first months of 2021. Its current packed seats are a testament to the great service and product they provide. The arepas on the weekends are incredible. The staff is incredibly kind. The coffee is the best you’ll find in the city — I dare you to prove me wrong. They don’t have wifi but, honestly, you don’t need it. It’s a perfect place to read, go with friends, stop and breathe. I often get the arepa “el younas” but the reina pepiada is also delicious. I once went with friends so they could try the arepas, it was the first time they weren’t serving them so the talented barista gave me a latte with the monkey saying “sorry” (from “Monkey cup”, get it?). The person I spoke dealt with did not apologize/seemed annnoyed and it happened both times with her. They maximized the space to have a decent amount of seating plus tables, indoors and outdoors. Yes, they have a rear outdoor patio. The staff was very polite, greeting us as we entered and when exiting. I opted for the Salmon Ceviche on the menu as Tiradito de Salmon, which was very tasty, I definitely recommend it. Since the serving sizes were smaller fine dining portions, I ordered the hard shell fish taco, Tacos Dorados, which were decent, but the Ceviche was much better.“

“At first I was a little skeptical. "Yo-Burger" Hmmmm. But once I visited the location, Burgers and Frozen Yogurt. It all made sense not. But in all seriousness, you have to visit this burger spot. There did it right here. I tried one of there Burger doubles with all the fixings. Its was outstanding. The burger was moist, juicy and full of flavor. Decent size and priced right. A meal form two will run you about $20 to $25 dollars. Not bad in todays ridiculous prices. The location was clean and the staff was responsive. The bathrooms were rather clean and functional. The is a school near by and the location was full with teens enjoying frozen yogurts and milkshakes. I had nom issues what so ever. What won me over was the taste of the food. Excellent I will say. If you are in the Riverdale area like I was, I highly recommend this burger spot and try their double cheese burger with cheese. You will not be disappointed any all. Trust me.“

“Roll of ice cream, one size only. incredibly unusual location where you can follow the whole development of your milk, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream creations. Rolling guys are so kind. “Since moving to the area, Nana's is one place that is consistently fantastic and everyone I bring here raves about it. Simple, yes, but freshly made, flavorful, and healthy isn't always easy to find when you're trying to grab a quick bite.I think the way the menu is laid out is a bit confusing if you've never been. Once you understand how to navigate that, it's smooth sailing.My regular order is the Mu'shwarma, pita or platter depending on how I feel that day. I am pescatarian and love that they don't use artificial fake meat, but this dish is just really well flavored mushrooms. Their platters are great because you can choose so many sides, and they REALLY stuff their pitas, so I think either one works, depending on what mood I'm in. If you get the platter, you can choose pita or pita chips on the side. Their pita chips are fresh and the best I've ever tasted. I'm not usually a drink gal, but I love their Limonana so I do order it quite frequently. Very refreshing and made with all fresh ingredients. Not overly sugary or anything. I've tried a bunch of their salads/salatim and they are all amazing, but the Babaganoush is a MUST. I'm not always a fan of the dish because of the texture but theirs is the best I've ever had. So flavorful and fantastic. Any of the spicy salads (spicy tomato) are actually quite spicy, so be aware. There isn't so much of an ambiance here as there's 1-2 tight tables and it's definitely more of a to go place, although I have dined in and eaten outside when weather permits. There is no table service. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but I can often stretch one of their meals to 2 and the ingredients are so fresh and so delicious, so it is worth the price. Don't expect any $7 street cart pitas here though! I've taken my parents and several friends and everyone that has been has only raved about how fresh and delicious it is, so it's a must go to and a neighborhood staple for me.“
