All the cookies were super fresh; hard but soft outside with a gooey warm inside..YUM! My favorite was the OG Chunk (had some sea salt on top) and the stuffed nutella. The kitchen sink was also very good especially with the potato chips but I just wish it didn’t have caramel drizzle on top. Definitely want to come again to try other flavors, but one thing I did have a problem with is the political views on the outside of the door. I do wish I noticed before walking in but I think political views on the outside of a cookie store is not necessary. Other than that, great cookies!“

It's as if you stepped into Italy. They offer some delicious flavors , especially chocolate hazelnut. Some flavors are rotated so that there are surprises to entice you. Of course, they have sprinkles and fun cones in different sizes and cups, but the best part is the GELATO!“

“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“

We started out with the Scallion Pancake and Vegetable Dumplings. I don't eat Scallion Pancakes very often because most places don't make it very well. Joe's Pancake was perfection! Cooked just right with layers of flavors. The Dumplings were light and fresh. For our main course we had Chicken with Broccoli and Sauteed Crystal Shrimp. Both were delicious and very generous portions. It was the first time I had had the Crystal Shrimp and I couldn't stop eating them. The Staff was very nice and we felt very well attended to but not overly so. We are really looking forward to returning so we can try some dishes that we have never had before.“

“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. “I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. This was our second time here and it has quickly become one of our goto places in Astoria. From the greeting at the door to the selection of great wine and cocktails- all unique because the are craft brews- to the staff answering our many questions about the very different and delicious menu to the quality of the food- an awesome experience. Last week we were there and enjoyed live jazz and the musicians mingled and talked with us. The decor is very comfortable. Looking forward to attending the special event nights, too. “My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. Always have a great time here and love to get good BBQ even this far north!Kid-friendliness: A bit loud for kids, but they put out a coloring page with crayons. It’s weird that it comes in a to go bag vs a plate. It was equivalent to a McDonald’s burger. Don’t come with high expectations. It’s $5 for a reason.Another odd thing about the place is that the music was random. A lot of 90s hip hop, some bops and some random. I’m surprised they don’t keep to the theme and only play reggae. They also were screening Mamma Mia that no one was watching. The place has a lot of potential but there were definitely some big misses.Total was $22 all in with tip. Today I went there at 9PM, after a long day at work. They were getting ready to close, no one was there but they opened the back area for me to have dinner, turned on the heat, let me take my time to eat didn't rush me, AG was very welcoming and so kind to check if I needed anything and let me stay after they close for the day. Will never look back from other options!-tzatzki: mild flavor and perfect accompaniment to anything it touchesPROTEINFirst off, they offer the most GENEROUS protein portions.You 'get 2' so they let you do a full scoop of one and a full scoop of the other. Falafel is about 4 balls per serving so you can mix and match with another protein-Moroccan steak : nice sized slices/bits of spiced meat-lemon chicken: you can taste the citrus without it being overpowering. Also in nice sized pieces-chicken shawarma: insta classic ! The meat is almost buttery it's cooked so well-falafel: my personal favorite. You can taste how fresh they are ! No dryness here! Great Big Crunch surrounding a little pillow of happiness. And if you choose this as your protein, be prepared to be AMAZED at how much you get!TOPPINGSUnlike other stores of this kind, the toppings bar is unlimited!!! And that doesn't speak to the quality of the ingredients. Again, everything is so fresh and taken care of properly.Most of this part is self explanatory so I'll just touch on the parts we found interesting:-chickpea croutons: not nearly as hard as expected to be so that was a plus. The shell has a crisp but you won't worry about breaking a tooth-dolmades : if you're afraid to commit to a full order, here's your chance to try it ! You won't be disappointed-tabbouleh : such a lovely addition to the meal you just created. Adds flavor with the mint/parsley/onion heavenly goodness-cabbage: tried both the white and red at different times and both were tasty. Felt that the white took in more of the flavor around the dish while the red just added crunchDRESSINGS-any tahini option is the right answer. If you're not familiar with the taste of tahini to begin with (earthy if you will), then I would recommend a flavored one-roasted red pepper tahini: a gift from above ! There is a slight sweet yet smokey flavor that wraps everything together-garlic jalapeño tahini: not as spicy as you'd imagine so it just gives a nice lil zest to your dish-lemon & olive oil : depending on what you put in your order, this will help with overall texture. If you opted out of wet stuff (tomatoes, lettuce, etc) this is your choice !Lastly,The Earth Burger: like a big ole falafel and WOW did not disappoint. Maintained the integrity of the falafel (crispy outside, soft inside) while giving you the satisfying big bite you're looking for. Only complaint is since it is such a hearty size, maybe a size of tahini or tatziki should accompany it. But if you ask, they’ll give you a side !!Basically, this is a great asset to the area.Kind staff, smiling faces, clean sitting area and portion sizes that will have you stuffed all day!Their in house lemonade is the BEST !“
