Always come here for special occasions and sometimes just for lunch. Food is consistently excellent. High quality, fresh, tasty. The owners are sweethearts and always treat you like family. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I don’t even live in Brooklyn anymore and we still come here.
Athena is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I overheard a couple talking about it at the grocery store and I am so glad I was snooping. The food it soooo good! The dolmades has the most delicious raisin vinaigrette, all of their meats are tender and juicy ( even the kebabs). The lemon potatoes are heavenly! The specials are always spectacular!
