I eat here all the time and love the variety and flavor of the food. However today I was extremely disappointed to say that I order empanadas and got this surprise in the bag when I got home…burnt. How could someone put that in a customer’s bag?? So disappointed
There is nothing much to eat in the area, if you're looking for something healthy. I was lucky to find Carrizal open because there was nothing open to feed my hearty appetite.. The restaurant is clean, the food was good and on display. You won't be disappointed by the food or the potions.

We came here after a day of travel looking for some good food close to our Airbnb. We were not disappointed. They have a large variety of items on the hot table. Not a lot of vegetarian options in terms of main dishes but you can put something together with the rice, plantains, and vegetables. I was able to fill myself up on that. But the meat eaters were very pleased. They got a couple different takes on chicken and two different rices. There were plenty to even have leftovers....read full review
