Great Vegan place, my 5th time there in 1 week. definitely recommend.
The torta milanesa sandwhich is delicious. They have roating pastries and my favorite are the concha and gave and cheese empanada, and ube pastry.
Used to love going to Guevara’s for a fully vegan pastry and coffee experience, but the menu is no longer fully vegan, as they have included cow’s milk as a milk option and even have some drinks that can only be prepared as non-vegan.
Guevara's is a fully vegan spot located inside Mekelburg's gourmet grocery and deli in South Williamsburg. The cafe has a cute decor and offers a convenient spot to grab a bite or meet a friend. The staff and owner are very friendly, and the vibe is super chill, making it a popular choice. While some dishes like the cauliflower wings and chili cheese baked potato have received mixed reviews, others like the bagel with crème fresh and fresh smoked faux lox or the sunrise sandwich are loved. The atmosphere is lively, with trivia nights adding to the fun. Despite some inconsistencies, Guevara's remains a unique vegan experience in a cool and vibrant setting.
