Let’s start from worst to best,From the prices you would think they offer quality service.- paid $480 for a bday dinner, 3 days later was charged $560 unauthorized by me.- waiter/cook keep consistently forgetting to provide plates, sides and drinks that were ordered and had to be reminded multiple times.- the food is has terrible flavor, if you grew up Caribbean and are younger than 80yrs old this is not the spot for you.- lastly the atmosphere was similar to a high school lunch room- some staff had a bad attitude but that was literally the best part compared to everything else.Stay away from the oxtail above all else, just a lot of fat with terrible flavor. You’re better off getting a slice of pizza from anywhere. The food flavor was so embarrassing I would be ashamed to recommend this place

This is an IDEAL date spot with amazing customer service, great music vibes, and amazing food.
I had a reservation for 9pm last night and when we showed up the establishment was closed. It crazy to me that I was able to make a reservation online. There was another party of 12 there who also made a reservation online and showed up to a closed restaurant. We tried calling but no one answered.

My husband & I made an impromptu decision to take a couple of friends that were visiting from out of town. All persons must be present before you are seated. This helps in keeping the tables more available. The food was excellent, and the service was superb. We sat upstairs, which was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The atmosphere was great with reggae music in the background... loud enough to enjoy but low enough to have a conversation. The waiter was very knowledgeable about each dish on the menu.

We came for lunch/brunch on a dreary, rainy Sunday and I’m grateful it wasn’t packed! They had a table for 8 within minutes and our waitress was so kind and patience with us. Loved the food and portions! The ambience and playlist felt like home. I would definitely go back next time I’m in Brooklyn. They were out of shrimp and grits so I’d want to try that.

I will have to say this was an absolutely amazing experience. I will say GO GO GO AND GO AGAIN. The food was amazing. Upstream Scotty was the salmon with the plantain and jasmine rice and this was cooked to perfection. I wanted more afterwards. Oxtail was to die for. The mac and cheese was mouth watering. The ambiance of this place was great. It was a bit cold and we came during dinner time but overall I would say make your way over and order sides. Caught the itis afterwards and didn’t want to move. I will definitely make my way back as the area is walking distance from the Barclays center and you can do some sight seeing either before or after having a good time here. Service was solid but the food will definitely make me revisit this place more often. Thank you guys again for the great experience

This place was pretty good. I only give it four stars because it wasn't outstanding. The ambiance and atmosphere is quite lovely and the staff was very good. The food was pretty good but not as good as I was hoping. I can find similar just as good in cultural enclaves of the city for a quarter of the price.
