I recently ordered takeout from the New House Garden Chinese Restaurant and was very pleased with the quality of the food. I ordered around 8-9 different dishes and was pleasantly surprised by how well everything tasted. If you're visiting House Garden or any Americanized Chinese restaurant expecting anything other than your regular Americanized Chinese food, then you have to lower your expectations ... pronto. Food is ok. I ordered beef Chow Fun. It was lacking on souse, all noodles stuck in one big piece and you have to cut them with the knife. But the price is good. You will not get any souse unless you ask . And the place itself has a huge room for improvement. Very uninviting environment.Vegetarian options: Mixed vegetables
