Discovered this place super close to me in Boerum Hill! It's tucked away, but what it lacks on the outside it makes up for on the inside. The restaurant is beautiful with a sushi bar where you can see your food being made. The omakase is also super cheap depending on what you want. They also get seasonal and fresh fish that they have special tastings of, which we really enjoyed. Overall, a great and affordable (for the quality) sushi spot in the neighborhood.
Delicious, high quality sushi experience! We fell into this place while exploring Cobble Hill and wow, what a find. Every bite was refined and the sushi chefs were mad cool too.All the details were so on point, the miso soup so good, charred romaine practically melted in my mouth. Throughout my five years of visiting, Taiki has been very consistent at having top quality fish, excellent dishes, great cocktail and sake selection, and perfect service. The atmosphere is very cozy and everyone, including chef Taiki, is welcoming. Already wondering when I can visit again.
