It was the best sushi I’ve ever had in America! I felt very at home and each piece felt very special. I’m so glad a wonderful business like this is in the neighborhood, and hope as many people can try the exquisite experience for themselves!
We came on a debut visit. As soon as you walk in the salt smell of ocean hits you. Perhaps that's the lack of Canadian smoke scent . They have the usual offerings that they do very well. Spicy tuna, salmon and shrimp tempura. To be sure they do that rather well. Salmon melts in your mouth. Portions are small but very tasty. The drink menu has good offerings as well. My wife and I went to Uotora to celebrate our anniversary with an omakase meal. From start to finish, it was superb. The progression of the dishes was very thoughtful and the quality of the fish was excellent. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed chatting with the chef as he prepared each dish. The restaurant hasa short but well-chosen list of sake. A great choice for both casual and special dinners.
