The food here was pretty good. I loved the texture of the fish, the eel avocado roll was really good. Overall pretty filling. Except the fact that I didn’t order the eel avocado, I ordered shrimp tempura. The waiter was very nice about it and gave me a miso soup on the house. I ordered the uni as well and it was a little fishy but pretty good.
I really liked how clean and fresh it felt immediately when I came inside. I ordered the pork cutlet curry and the pork dumplings as an appetizer. The pork dumplings were decent. The server told me that I should eat them fast. However, even when they were cool they still tasted pretty bland. The curry was decent. I liked the taste of the sauce but the pork seemed to be a little tough and not entirely enjoyable to eat. Overall a decent authentic Japanese experience in Brooklyn...read full review
