Spotted Octopus Brewing Co. Brewery •

“Great selection of tasty beers, extremely friendly atmosphere, and a lovely two-storey space to chill out and hang out! Plus, the pub is in the close vicinity of a very interesting native American-owned K Gallery. Don't miss any of the two places!“

“The pizza is excellent! I really shouldn't be reviewing it because I'm just making it hard for myself to get a seat next time ?Great NEIPA as well. Cozy dining space. Hoping they'll get popular enough to open more days of the week.“

Pressure Drop Brewing Brewery • $
1672 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo

“This place is a true gem. Some of the best local brew and food in town. They recently launched a new menu that outcompetes other local favorites like Coles and Colter Bay. It’s elevated bar food with cool takes on burgers, tacos, wings, sandwich’s, etc. Have gone the last two Fridays for the fish platter. The best I’ve had!“

“My husband and I brought our nieces (8, 8, and 12) in at 5:00 on a Saturday, before taking them to Shea’s. The hostess quoted 45-60 minute wait and it ended up only being 15 minutes so we were very grateful. I also love that we were contacted via text when our table was ready so we were able to take the girls back to the car for what we had assumed would be a 45 minute wait. The service was great—Mike was so good to our littles, talking directly to them and being patient, kind, and attentive. Food was great and came out super quickly. Including 2 apps, a beer, and 5 meals we were out for under $130 including a 25% tip. We were blown away with the price, especially given how expensive life has gotten. Happy to share this experience with our friends in real life and on the internet. Thanks, Big Ditch!“

“Nice sports bar, lots of seating, lots of beer options, food is limited but comes out fast. Apps are just as expensive as the sandwiches and entrees which I thought was a bit strange. Went for fish & chips, it hit the spot, got a flight of 5 and will try the Buffalo wings and brisket meatballs next time.“

Belt Line Brewery & Kitchen Brewery • $$
545 Swan St, Buffalo

“Wish I could give it 4.5. This place is a little out of our way, but what else are we gonna do on a Friday night? Came around 7 and there were several people at the bar and at the tables. You order drinks and food from the bar and then you pick it up once your buzzer rings from the kitchen area.I ordered the regular burger (they all have two thin sliced patties) and my fiancé ordered the chicken fingers. Both were really good but let me say that the fries really stood out! They were fresh, thick cut...just the way we like them. I'd come back for just the fries! We also tried a pretzel which was also very good. I got a Moscow mule and he got one of their IPA's. It was all really good and I highly recommend!“
