I have eaten kimchi from California to Pa but I purchased your's at Hunt county vineyards at Keuka lake and it is by far the best I ever had. I was told to eat it for my health.

Stopped in to get a couple jars of pickles. Really delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is of great quality and bartender made a nice cocktail

Only tried the kombucha there and it was delicious! So many flavors to choose from, and the lady was lovely.FYI it’s a bit hard to find because you have to go through a small alley etc, we thought we were at the wrong place at first, so, don’t get discourage by the lack of signage, it’s there and worth a visit!

Tried Barrel + Brine the other weekend. Saturday around 2-3 is a good time if you are a misanthrope. We tried everything on the menu except the pickle plate: pickled egg, pierogies, knishes, kimchi grilled cheese and the reuben. We also both had a signature cocktail: a mule and a bourbon drink with pickled cherries. Everything was delicious. We'd never had a pickled egg but would eat a dozen. They were served with pickled peppers and sauerkraut, all crispy and tangy and delicious. Pierogies were delicious. Knish had unexpected fillings but were also very good. I always expect potato in knish as the only place I ever get one is on the streets of NYC from a cart :D. Kimchi grilled cheese was surprisingly good. I've never thought of combining kimchi and pepper jack but it works very well. It's a messy sandwich as you inevitably drag out a piece of kimchi coated in molten cheese with every bite but well worth it. The Mensch (the reuben) contains perfectly tender savory corned beef and crispy tangy sauerkraut. I would eat a pile of either of these sandwiches until I burst. Drinks were unique takes on classics and very enjoyable as well. There is a courtyard outside with cornhole and picnic tables if you prefer eating outdoors. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Food was freshly made and delivered to our tables as it was made.

Super Hidden Gem. First time coming here just because I seen the sign out front. Super cool bartender and owner. Awesome drinks. Very cool courtyard to sit outside in. Great atmosphere.

I make this the first stop on every visit as its one of my favorite stores. The pickles are the best ever. The kimchi is the best ever. The kombucha is the best ever. The knish and food items are wonderful. The jars and sauces are wonderful. It’s such a masterful place!

Amazing drink menu, they will make anything off menu based on your tastes and mood. They do a fantastic job catering to the customers tastes. Love the pickles and all the things they pickle! Go here!

Super cool spot run by a woman who brews kombucha and a man who makes pickles and sauerkraut. Enjoyed everything, especially the sauerkraut (never knew it could be so crunchy!) and the pearl onions.

If you don't want your tables moved, either anchor them or put permanent signs on them, rather than screaming at the random women who thought they could move the table in the shared courtyard (and I don't think anyone realizes they are *YOUR* tables). I don't like kombucha anyway. But after seeing that interaction I'd never willingly give you money.

Barrel and brine products are consistently amazing. Not only do they have amazing pickles but their other pickeled goods are just as fantastic. The candied jalapeños are out of this world.

The most talented, creative, and hard working people out there. You won't find better pickles or kombucha either. Ever.

Really unique location in the revamped factory district. If you like pickling or kambucha products this is a must stop. I had the heckin hot bloody mary and it was by far one of the hottest bloody marys I've had due to the homemade pepper infused vodka. We also tried their pickle platter which was pretty great. Most of the pickles did have a subtle heat factor at the end. I'm hoping to visit again in the warmer season as there is huge courtyard.

Every time we go to Buffalo we visit Barrel+Brine or we beg to have it brought back to Pittsburgh for us. Unmatched kombucha, pickles, and when available, food. Would give 6/5 stars, if I could.

Their outside lawn area is unmatched first of all. Huge and plenty of room and well-kept. The bar area is open and airy with great light. If can get a gutterdog, do it for yourself please. Just the best. I always get whatever mix of pickles awesomeness they have on the menu and then get some pickles to go too. The menu is really great and my boyfriend always gets a different amazing sandwich. The service has always been great and the owners are usually there. It's a really great spot.

Fun restaurant with a wide variety of kombucha, pickles, hot sauce, and other fermented goodies. They also serve tasty food, too such as sandwiches.
