I fear leaving this review because I don't want the place ruined I loved it so much. Step back in time without all the pretension to a classic hometown bar. The owner Greg was bartending and filled us in on the history of the place having closed in the 80s until he opened up in the 2000s. There's no having to pretend to be old timey, the vinyl on the bar, the stools, and the walls covered in Utica Club and Schlitz is authentic to the place. Walked in and felt at home. Listen, if you want to get to know the area... this is a good place to start. Locals here were very open to conversation. Felt like being a guest to the area the entire time.

Perfect bar to just hang out in somehow classy and divy at the same time, went for a comedy show on the first Friday of the month excellent back room and performance area. Had a ton of fun.
