Went on a pretty busy day,(Sunday) and food was actually that good. Surprised because for the longest I just thought this place was over hyped. Lines are long but once you get through you'll have already paid for your food and can serve yourself the rest of the way. I had the Brisket Biscuit sandwich and it was superb though a little fattier than I would have liked. I added a fried egg too. The biscuit itself was just incredible,I'm coming back soon and bringing other folks

This is one of the most unique and memorable BBQ restaurants I have tried outside of Texas. You never knew you needed Indian Texas BBQ until you have tried it.My friends and I visited on a Friday night after work, and the wait was about 30 minutes to dine in. Once you get to the meat counter, you will pick your meat(s), sides, and sauces, then you pay. Seating is first come, first serve, but the turnover was pretty quick. The BBQ was spectacular, to say the least. Amongst all of us, we were able to try most of the meats and sides, and I can say you can't go wrong with any of them. Each of us got the "2 Meats, 2 Sides" Platter ($25). I would definitely get the Brisket and Barbacurry again along with the Brisket Biriyani and Smoke Cauliflower. Just to note, there is a +$3 upcharge to get Brisket as one of your meats.Overall, I highly recommend you come early and with an empty stomach. I am already trying to plan my next time back. ?

Best brisket I've had outside of Texas! Non-traditional dishes were excellent too, like the Barbacurry and biryani.

This place!!! Holy cow the food is excellent and there's so much to enjoy here. The food is so so tasty and so many things to try. The chicken and turkey were excellent and they've got some interesting Indian style cooking recipes to enjoy as well. Their mac and cheese, beans, and rice are yummy too! To finish can't miss the banana pudding equally amazing! So they've got a bar and tables around and you order and then sit alacarte style. Prices were great for the amount of food provided! Can't wait to come back!

WOW! Just WOW! I'm a transplant to NY, having previously lived in SC. I've been here long enough though to consider this my home. Like the owner of Southern Junction, I also come from Indian roots. I've followed Southern Junction since they started and operated from their previous location, but I've never ordered from them before. I've always thought about it, but it just never happened. We finally decided to meet family at their new location, which is great. I love to see this business grow. It is also great to see how much interest, love, and creativity the owner puts into his restaurant. I'd love to see them grow and expand. The aesthetics of this place is great, where the art work on the wall is a combination of pictures of Kerala, India (where the owner's roots are from), and Texas (where he originates from). There is a bar area, a few tables in the front, and a few tables in the back. Moreover, there is space outside, which would be a great hangout spot during the warmer months. The drinks are generous on alcohol. I ordered the brisket with a brisket biryani side, and a smoked cauliflower side. I was a HUGE fan of the brisket biryani and also the smoked cauliflower. I wish I could just get a huge bucket of the brisket biryani. Just WOW! The smoked brisket was good too. The Barbacurry beef was decent for what it was, flavorful, and great if you are looking for a pulled beef entree. Either way, all the offerings were creatively made, and simply delicious. I loved the ambiance of the place too. We are definitely coming back, especially during the warmer months.

We were visiting out of town and came across the Junction, we came in at 8 so it was relatively empty, the staff was SO FRIENDLY and awesome, made suggestions and helped us choose. We loved it so much we returned the next day! I never ever queue for anything in my life, I did for the Junction! The brisket was heavenly, the tumeric cornbread was so gooooood and the banana pudding omgThe curry sauce for the brisket is a must have.I cannot rave about this place enough, you have to go, multiple times, every day!And you can, since the prices are sooooo affordable!!!Man I love this place. I wish I lived in Buffalo, I'd go every day
