“I love this truck because it's independent individuals making quality, fresh, craft food. I actually get a hot dog more often than a sausage hero, but both are very good. They allegedly use a Sabrett's (skinless) dog just like everyone else, but their dogs are far plumper than you find from most other places and they use a Martin's potato roll. And they're grilled, which I prefer to the boiled dogs from the other truck up the street. When I get a sausage hero (which I just got myself in the mood for), I get it topped with marinara sauce. There's only one negative to this truck. They shut down at around 3:30pm each day and I don't think they're ever there on Sundays or holidays. In my perfect world, they'd be there practically 24 hours a day, so if I had a craving at 11pm, I could get my dog or sausage hero. Like everybody else, they've raised prices - dogs are $4 and I think the hero sandwiches are now $12, but still well worth it.“

This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Upon booking, I spoke with Mike. He was one of the first reasons why I wanted to book with WBM. Any questions I had, Mike was always there to give me the information I needed. Sandra was the next person I worked with and she was also just as amazing. The BEST part of my day was Phil, our Matre’d and Claudia our bridal attendant. These two are sensational!!!! Talk about TEAMWORK!!!! They were running out in the rain for me, carrying the train on my dress, keeping us cool calm and collected all day and got us anything that we needed. The list goes on for these two on how hard they worked and how much they did for us. Both of them were at our sides all day to make sure everything was up to par. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. We received so many compliments on Phil and Claudia and how wonderful they were to our guests as well as my husband and I. I doubted our server when I saw he didn't write down our very large order but was relieved when he came back around to confirm he had my meal correctly. It's not a place I'd go back to by choice but defiantly wouldn't mind coming back if someone chooses this place for their birthday again. The vibe of this place is very nice, romantic, dress up nice and go in a date kind of place. I did see kids here but I wouldn't pick this as a place to bring younger children to. One thing I didn't like too much was one of the workers here knew someone from out party and kept coming over having side conversations and even bought him and only him a shot of some fancy cognac which was kind of rude seeing as he could of atleast offered the birthday girl (very clear by the balloons who we were celebrating) a shot as well. We were a party of about 14 so I get not getting a round for the table.“

I was surprised the restaurant does not market their establishment date with their motto, as 14+ years is no small feat. It had myself questioning whether I should attend yet another milestone event squished in a corner. After succumbing to the pressures as to why I should attend, I was pleased that this evening's Jan 2024 Retirement Dinner, was set up in the larger part of the restaurant. Great company. Entering from the main door you are met with a warm, cozy glow on the smaller, bar side of the restaurant and then an immediate separation to the larger main dining area. The main area allowed the space needed for co-workers not seen in ages an opportunity to mingle freely. Much more comfortable. Good food. A small sample of the Berkshire Pork Chop was perfectly prepared. I definitely recommend. My Almond Crusted Stuffed Chicken Breast was a savory, sweet dish with the accompanying mashed Sweet Potatoes. Another perfect combination. To add to the pleasantries of the evening, our obviously skilled servers offered prompt, satisfactory service. Any request I or my table companions made were fulfilled without any necessary follow up. There may have been exceptions, though all appeared content with the service. “Gio's has become one of my favorite restaurants to dine. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is truly the best, so friendly and accommodating. My husband and I have dined here 3 times (twice bringing friends). We look forward to bringing more people with us that haven't experienced it yet. My go to dish is the Veal Sorrentino, I can't get enough of it. It really is “the best in the city”. Last night we also had the Bolognese, it was perfect and the stuffed artichoke. “This place has been around for a long while, but I only came here for the first time this past summer, and now, whenever I find myself in the area, I try to come by here for a nice fresh sandwich for lunch. I'll usually get their fresh mozzarella hero, and I'll add tomatoes and peppers as well. They have hot tray daily specials, as well as other specialty Italian ingredients. I would definitely return with my family to try some of their other menu items.The only problem I had wouldn't apply to anyone else coming here, but for the Christmas party, the inclusion of a written menu with a description of each dish would have been helpful to both the waiter and everyone dining. Instead, the server had to individually ask every single person at each table if they wanted 1 of 3 options as their dish and he did so pretty quickly. Many people didn't understand what the options were upon his first recall and needed him to repeat it. I think the poor waiter said "Chicken Francese" 100 times in 5 minutes.“

“Roman style pizza sounded interesting, so we stopped in and tried some. Very glad we did because it was amazing.We ended up with 4 slices. 2 Roman style, 2 traditional. The Roman style were sausage with broccoli rabe and spinach with artichoke. The traditional were a burrata and vodka pepperoni basil and pesto slice. I can't tell you which was the best because they were all amazing. It was nice to get some slices with fresh greens on them that actually tasted good.I wish I had taken a picture of all the pizza because the variety of slices they had was crazy.
