“I was here 02/04/2024. I bought one italian sub and a platter of chicken tenders and fries. Their Italian sub was perfect, had just the right amount of salt pepper, oil vinegar and meats but could use more tomato and cheese. Chicken tenders and fries were slightly over cooked but I will not complain because it tasted great. Overall, you are getting good value for the cost than most sandwich places and the food isn’t too shabby. As for the atmosphere, this place was in much worse condition the last time I came which was 2022. This time, there was new construction and the place looked way better and cared for. The owners are turning it around!“

“5/5! I cannot recommend the state room ENOUGH! I just had my daughter's baptism lunch this past weekend and the food, ambiance, service, environment were all 10/10! Julian was an amazing hostess who catered all of our needs from beginning to end, even offering custom napkin colors, helping us run stuff from car to venue, providing easels... she made the event absolutely seamless. I cannot wait to host a party here again. All of our friends and family were also raving about the food and how lovely the day was! We cannot thank you enough State Room!!!“

“I just got married on March12th and it was a phenomenal wedding the staff was wonderful and accommodating making sure I was eating and taken care of ! “This place has the best chicken cesar wrap I have ever had! I am a huge cesar salad fan and typically always give a cesar wrap a try when I see it on the menu. I had tears in my eyes the entire meal because of how incredible the wrap was. The dressing is life changing. If you are vegan they have tons of options for you. Including their delicious black bean brownies! There are a few tables to eat at or you can take your food to go (which is what I usually do). It is very cute inside!“

“I don’t know where to begin… I worked with Zoli to plan for son’s christening and from the beginning everything seemed so perfect. They have an amazing package that was going to make this christening amazing. Well the day came and it was more than I could have asked for. The food, drinks, music etc was just so perfect and the Matra’d couldn’t have been more accommodating! I would have any type of party here again!!! “I belong to the Marconi Sons & Daughters of Italy Lodge. They have a social every 1st Thursday of the month. Dinner w/wine, beer + soda. Followed by dessert + coffee. Dancing w/ a great DJ. You do not need to be a member to attend. $30 for non-members.“

“Definitely 5-star service. I hired Up in Smoke for a family reunion in my back yard. All my pre-event dealings were with Jeff. He was so easy to work with. Willing to accommodate anything I requested. And since this was my first time using them I had tons of questions along the way. Jeff always got back to me immediately!! The menu had more than enough options to choose from and he even added chicken nuggets and fries since we had a ton of little kids. Worked with me on the pricing. Very fair. We had Alex and Bryan as our grilled and they worked no-stop for the entire time. Cleanup left not a trace. And I had tons of leftovers so plenty of food. Everyone was raving about the food! I highly recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat!! (Jeff also recommended wait staff who are not affiliated with them but have worked together often and they were great, too!) First time I’ve hosted a party where I was totally relaxed and got to visit with all the guests and enjoy myself.“
