“Whoa, I did not expect this. About 30 minutes ago I just left the restaurant, having eaten a dinner with all my wife’s colleagues and friends. I really thought this was just a pizza parlor- but let me tell you, from the table bread with Tuscany oils and herbs, to the main course, this was by far one of the BEST experiences I’ve had eating out at an Italian place. The fettuccini Alfredo was excellent, the penne a la vodka was also excellent- pastas cooked perfectly and well-sauced with freshest ingredients. . Even the house salad was fresh and perfectly balanced with dressing, not too much, not too little.But that’s not the highlight of the night. The Manicotti dish was one of the best I’ve ever had. Delicate pasta shell cooked magnificently, in a homemade sweet marinara with fresh melted mozzarella on top…you ask yourself- with a beautiful presentation like this could it get any better? Well, the ricotta inside blended slightly with fresh herbs and cooked exactly to perfection, was the creamiest Ive ever known a manicotti dish to be. I work every day in NYC and can tell you this dish was better than most restaurants downtown. Clearly a 10/10 with a friendly staff and a clean environment, I had no idea this gem of a restaurant existed outside of the 5 boroughs. Reasonably priced, too, it’s apparent that the quality of the food here is of utmost priority and importance and I know that a dinner spent here is a memory made in bliss.“

“We ate on Wednesday to celebrate my birthday. This was our 30th visit and the best ever. We've eaten steaks at Lugers and Old Homestead and Sparks and the Orto flat-iron steak is the best. “Came here based on a recommendation. I am not a wing person so I had a meatball hero and a Caesar salad. Both were fresh and delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful and I got my food within a few minutes. There are very few seats inside so getting your food to go is probably a better option. There are plenty of food choices in this immediate area but KC's is definitely worth a visit.Parking: Parking is not a problem here.“

“Pasta Pasta is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I was there on Saturday March 16th for an afternoon lunch around 3pm. We were greeted right away and seating just as quickly. “I've lived in the area for years and never been inside this place until two weeks ago. The inside of the establishment has this classy old-school charm about it. It was a tiny bit confusing because they had the podium in the front by the door and the sign on it said to wait there I noticed everybody walked in anyway so I just went. Maybe they can hide that somewhere else until it's that time of the night or something? Anyway, one of my favorites slices is the grandma slice and I had to try theirs because it was suggested over and over to me by many people. So after finally trying one slice, I ended up buying a whole pie and taking it home. Yes, it's a tiny bit expensive in comparison to the other places locally but the quality of pie is worth the extra money. If you want to be taken back in time and enjoy a great slice then come here.“

“My husband and I have been curious about Virgola Wine Bar since we moved to Patchogue, but never got a chance to stop in as we were unfamiliar with their hours. For my birthday this year, my husband suggested going to check it out (this was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving) and they had a Wednesday special going on which was half off wine bottles. We figured we would grab a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine and just relax. And that's exactly what we did! We tried a couple of samples of wine before landing on the Sangiovese red wine, which was absolutely delicious. We grabbed the bruschetta- Classico ($12) and three of our favorite cheeses (burrata, parmigiano reggiano, and raschera) which were reasonably priced ($8 each), and the portions that were given made that price totally worth it. Everything we ate was tasty and we couldn't even finish the cheeseboard between the two of us which we can normally do so we definitely left full and happy. We did run out of bread at one point but just we asked for more and they brought it right over. The vibe in there is very calm and relaxing. There were several people in there but everyone seemed to be unwinding and hanging out with friends so that was nice. It's dimly lit so it definitely gives those city wine bar vibes. I will definitely be bringing some of my friends to Virgola! Just need to find the right day since they have daily happy hours/promotions.Check it out for sure!“

The owner assured me that this was a one-off and that they have a high standard of pizza and made it right with me after my lack-luster purchase. I figured let me try another type in case the pepperoni just isn’t good at this place. I said I would go back and try it again and I did. I tried something sort of different— half pep and half Buffalo chicken. What a difference! I mean, this pizza is by far some of the best I’ve had on Long Island! “I've been here about ten times and the pizza just gets better and better. The place is very cozy and the staff is very hospitable. I had the chicken Caesar slice and a Sicilian slice. Both were great. The Sicilian tasted like the ones I ate growing up in NY. Quality ingredients and a crisp crust. The chicken Caesar slice had a scratch made caesar dressing that would be amazing on any salad. This place is very busy. If you want to enjoy your pizza there, come early.“
