“After reading reviews I thought I give it a try. I live in LA and always looking for authentic mexican food in the area the sopes were very good and chilaquiles . I loved the arroz con leche it was not too sweet it was perfect very authentic love this hidden gem. They were very kind and great service gracias. Definitely will be coming back .“

“A very pleasant surprise. First time we went for dinner, it was an experiment. Very happy with the food and service. They gave us a free appetizer and desert. The food was amazing and a great selection with reasonable prices. The drinks were excellent. This is how a restaurant should be. “Finally visited this food truck. I had 3 tocos. I had steak,brisket and spicy Mexican sausage. The steak was my favorite.the menu looks great. There is I think 2 or 3 covered tables to eat. I will be back again soon! I recommend there tacos“

“I must say this is the best Mexican food I've had in New York! I got the chimichangas, rice & beans. Everything tasted fresh and homemade! The chimichangas were stuffed with tender diced chicken, fresh tomatoes, and other great stuff. It came with guacamole too! We didn't order any drinks but the server brought us water without us even asking. What great service! I'll have to recommend this place to my friends.“

“I love Tulcingo. Their food is always so fresh and tasty. Usually they give red peppers and green but I always ask for just red. This also comes with sides. It's so filling I always have enough to take for lunch the next day! I highly recommend.“

“Love a place that doesn't put rice in a burrito!! The burrito came with rice & a little pico de gallo salad, and we were given red and green chili sauces. The food was excellent, great mix of veggies in the burrito, great flavor balance, and all for great value. The pizza looked pretty good, too! We stopped off the thruway and we were glad we did. There was seating inside with cute tablecloths, and a great selection of tropical fruit juices available. Plenty of parking. Worth the detour!“

“On Dec. 23rd. I held a holiday family dinner with 20 people at this restaurant. The Mgr. Ana was pleasant and very helpful in setting this up. The day off, the waiter was extremely patient with everyone, courteous and on point with all the orders. I was very impress with the prices, they were very reasonable, much better than other nearby places. The food was great, service all around was very good. “Give it a try since I had yet to have Latin food in the area. Very friendly here and happy to make sure your order is correct here. I got a large order of stewed chicken with yellow rice and black beans, plus two beef empanadas. Stewed chicken was tender and moist, feel right off the bone good and it really soaked up the gravy sauce, like carrots and potatoes. Yellow rice was fluffy and lightly seasoned, black beans were good, not much on them. Now the beef empanadas, they best part of the meal, the outer crust, was fresh and flaky, I love well seasoned crust and the filling, plenty of beef chucks and ground up beef, I like it was mix of two rather then just ground beef. Dipping sauce was amazing for the empanadas, very spicy and savory.“

The service was great, the waitress was very up on selling the menu and making sure if needed anything, even when group came in after me, I was still being helped. So for food, the salsa was fresh and delicious, definitely that loving hand homemade, the chips themselves were alright. So for the pollo a la diabla, the chicken could been bit more tender, for portion though got plenty of it, and thick cuts as well. The spicy sauce, I liked it in said doses, since it tasted more tangy than spicy and smoky at times. I think shrimp version of these would held up better. For the rice, I felt it was really under seasoned, but otherwise cooked great. For beans, very good and love cheese on top to add bit salty.“

“I've passed by this place several times, last night I was able to finally try it and I must say I am pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious, the ambiance great and family friendly. I had the bistek tres compadres, steak wrapped in bacon and topped with a rich creamy sauce, definitely to die for, it might sound overwhelming but it was not at all! The tacos were flavorful, the meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly and the red and green sauces definitely delicious ! Give these guys a try you're gonna want to go back! “I come here often because it's close to home and my girlfriend, the kids and I all love the food here but tonight I got they upset me a little bit. I always order the bowl with the tortilla on the side(the bowl and the burrito are the same price). On the past 15 occasions I have done this I never payed extra for the tortilla. Tonight I asked for an extra tortilla and was charged for 2 tortillas. I asked the girl(who wasn't even the one at the register but hit whatever button to add the 2nd tortilla to the bill) why am I paying for 2 tortillas when the I'm only getting 1 extra. She said none of the tortillas are free. It says right on the screen "EXTRA tortilla on the side" not in capital letters but you get the point. I didn't make a big fuss because it's 75¢ but it still left a bad taste in my mouth.“
