“Back in 2001, when I was a sophomore, I decided to end my pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree. My 3.65GPA, National Dean's List qualification (decided not to send photo or bio for inclusion), and 100% tuition grant, didn't matter. I just pulled the plug. Reinventing the wheel didn't matter as much to me as inventing it did... Yes, I'm salty. And I have a reason to be, unlike those outside the #powersinn&pub. Where the air is crisp, the drinks are strong and steady, every member of staff is in uniform and ready to impress, and from the mouth-watering smell wafting from the kitchen, this Irish Pub is on point! Good thing for them, I'm a straightforward college-drop-out. I'm not interested in neutrality. Apparently that's the job of the degree holders. BARE has amazing options for vegan and gluten free dietary restrictions which is difficult to find. I placed an order for 3 açaí bowls, only 1 of them was made correctly.I called to let them know of the mistake, and the response was they’d write my name down and next time I come in they’ll give me 20% off my order. “When I was a child I use to frequent a bakery with my family called Wagners, it was that rustic bakery with day old goods in the corner, display cakes at the front, and shelves upon shelves of cookies, cupcakes, and an assortment of pastries.I have once again found a similar location close by at Dolce and Biscotti, which I was planning to limit myself to just three selections, but ended up with nine because they just all looked so good. I have very poor self control when it comes to dessert.Be that as it may, there is still plenty I did not take, and that's because I 100% plan to return. All the things I partook of were amazing, with my favorites being the Almond Sugar Cookie and the Strawberry Tart cookie.And for my box I paid less than a single Andrew Jackson, now that's what I call a steal.“
“Our server was great! However, she was responsible for too many tables, so in spite of her best efforts, our service was poor. We were planning on having some dessert, our server was so busy with other tables that we decided to pass on that.“
“We love Country Drive-In, especially their chicken speedie sandwiches and delicious French fries. Staff is always pleasant and food is consistently good. Love that if we have been out working in the yard we can just clean up a little drive there when hungry. People pop over from pools with cover ups over swim suits in the heat of the summer. Just a really casual place to grab a bite and/or some ice cream. Little kids (just watch them by the busy road) and well behaved dogs are always welcome. Try it!Kid-friendliness: Yes, bring the kids but by a busy road so keep an eye on them.“
