“Will is the best! He is always working hard while being friendly and polite. He is always willing to make my breakfast empanadas fresh if there isn’t any, but doesn’t make it feel like an inconvenience like so many other places. He is truly an asset to this location, you’re lucky to have him!“
“Let me paint you a picture. I’m staying at the Quality Inn Hotel right next to this location. Me and my friend, as we are teenage baseball players, are famished. We take a gander through our window and spy a Dunkin’ Donuts in the vicinity. I look to my buddy and say, “wanna take a stroll?” To which he replies, “when would I not?” In this time, we embark on our adventure. Very scenic walk. We go to the front doors, and what do we discover? They’re locked. Closed. Out for the evening. Disappointed, we see another drive through over yonder, and decide to trek on over. On our expedition, we turn around to see a van in the drive thru, and new hope has sparked amongst our famished selves. We ultimately venture on over to the drive through ordering station, sadly to no response. Therefore, the only solution we saw fit, was to walk on up to the window! It is there, we meet, who we now know is the supervisor, who takes our order! We are ecstatic. Sparkin’ up a great conversation. He told us about some nincompoops who were not being the most caring, or empathetic customers, and we thought that was gobbledygook. He was an excellent man, and got our order out right away. Never had a better experience at not only any other Dunkin’ Donuts location, but at any other place in our entire lives. Thank you for this great experience. Don’t hesitate if you plan to make a stop at this Dunkin’, it’ll be the best decision of your lives.Kid-friendliness: As minors ourselves, we are pleased to say how open he was to conversing with us and giving us a great experience.“
“Unbelievable experience. The owner and staff are wonderful and make you feel like a guest in their own. The food was fantastic and of a rare quality. Located on a beautiful pedestrian street and facing a bookstore.Kid-friendliness: Our 2 year daughter made friends with some other kids and they laughed the whole time playing in the open-ish space.“
“Ohhh there really is nothing like a fresh donut! With Duck donuts, the donuts are super fresh, and there are so many options to choose from. I felt overwhelmed when I walked in, but there were tons of great suggestions. It was mid afternoon on a weekday when I stopped in, so there wasn't much traffic, but the staff was very helpful. The iced coffee was strong, and my donut was delicious. Wish we had a spot like this downstate!“
“You GUYS. I've been gluten free for 10 years now. These are HANDS DOWN the BEST gluten free donuts I have ever had the pleasure of eating. If you're gluten free and haven't tried these yet, You've been sleeping on them! Go get some now!!“
“Gorgeous little gem of a store. Their employees are incredibly nice and friendly, and the yuzu egg tart in particular is a creamy delight. I'd love to try the chocolate one if I can ever get there in time, because they rightfully sell out of tarts quickly.“
“Me and my daughter favorite vegan restaurant since they first open, customer service is excellent. Always treat us like family. I recommend this place to all the vegans and even non-vegan. Best restaurant in Schenectady NY.Vegetarian options: All vegan.“
“The associates are sweet and wonderful. I love everything about this place so far. The patrons seem to include some of the happiest, loveliest, most interesting people. I have actually had spontaneous conversations here...wow, conversations, and nice ones. That's special. I adore Jacob Alejandro!“
“Yesterday was my first time here and WOW. I got the lemon pound cake and now...I WANT MORE! Cute little store where you can pick up to go meals, alcohol, basic groceries, and really cute little cook books and how to make recipes with all ingredients included! Will 1000 percent be back.“
“Such a cute bookstore and Cafe. The selection of books was very unique as they had many special edition copies. The children's section was also quite nice and I got a particularly good book for a friend for her upcoming baby shower. They also had a good number of games for sale, many of which I had never even seen before. Excellent place to stop by if you are into books or libraries.“
“I've had the pleasure of enjoying Alias's espresso in my first and most recent cortado at the weekly Farmers Market??. Today I decided to give a large black cup, no sugar, of their Tarrazú Farm house blend a swirl... This will be a simple review of the Costa Rica cultivated locally-roasted brew: ?!#Crisp #Balanced #RefillWorthy“
“I don't know where to start. I've only had breakfast items there and the food is absolutely amazing! I force myself to never get the same thing twice and everything I've ever had from there has been superb! Anyone want to go tomorrow?“
“100 out of 10! Excellent Food! I was looking for something fresh on a hot summer day and coming here was perfect. Friendly Atmosphere. Amazing Owner and Staff. Thank you so much for a top tier experience. We went on Friday afternoon and there was easy parking on the street. This is a must see place if you are passing through Troy or if you live in the area. The Agua Fresca was incredible, everything was Devine. This cafe also offers sliding scale pricing options! I don't know enough about it to explain it well, but it is based on your income. I could not be happier this spot is just over the river from us. I will definitely be back. =]“
“Such a great coffee shop! Got a double shot latte and a "jalapeno popper" bagel (Plain bagel with a jalapeno cream cheese spread). The coffee was amazing and so was the bagel! Highly recommended. Also, the aesthetic of that shop is very trendy and modern. When we went the place was hoppin'. Very friendly staff. They have a large variety of home made pastries and other snacks.Additional Tip: they have limited parking right next to the shop (3 parallel parking spot with a 15 minute line) but then tons of parking in the back! Enjoy!!!“
“Amazing place, everyone there was very nice and had excellent service. The food was also delicious. My partner and I ordered a turkey club and it was great with a large enough portion to leave us satisfied. If you get the chance, go to Babes. They close earlier than most places you can eat, but it's very worth it. Great prices, great food, great portions and great service.“
“Woah. Just had the Big L. Had to grab something quick before catching a bus so went in with no expectations. Service was great. They ran out of whatever bread they usually use for the sandwich and gave me ciabatta instead. Loved it. Broccoli rabe was a nice touch. Big W for the “Big L”“
“Welcome to the local breakfast/lunch spot in Albany’s “midtown neighborhood.” The only place that is consistently open 7days per week (6a weekdays, 7a weekends). Great for meetings, quick bites on your way to work (always easy parking early am) or a place to hang out “central perk/“friends style. Everybody will know your name in no-time.“
“Can’t say enough about this place! The egg and cheese biscuit and the tahini butter and jam sunflower toast were amazing! We enjoyed the cold brew as well. Cool industrial decor. This is a must stop place for us on our way to upstate and VT. Thanks for the great service!“
“Stopped in before and liked their coffee. Considering that the other small coffee shop that I was a loyal customer to (since the shutdown) had closed, I figured I'd give Stacks another shot. Had a coffee and a bagel egg sandwich (Greg) and was more than satisfied. Definitely found my new spot for a coffee and egg sandwich. They're open on Saturday, which is a definite plus. I'll be frequenting them more.“
“VFGS is my Thursday place to be for lunch with an old friend. The atmosphere is welcoming and eclectic; there is always new and interesting merchandise to peruse. But...the food is what always brings us back...oat milk chai, lemon scones, chocolate chip sea salt cookies and the breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage...and chicken salad and soups that change weekly and are all delicious! The staff is friendly and efficient and remembers your name and your preferences. A hidden jewel in our community that I am so grateful for!“
“The food and coffee is a bit pricey, but the food is always good. The coffee is inconsistent, depending on the baristas and some of the baristas aren't very friendly.Dietary restrictions: They have a variety of different milk options for coffee and seem pretty accommodating regarding substitutions.“
“A hidden gem! The chicken soup is hearty & homemade, the fries are perfect- crispy & delicately herbed, & the gyro is amazing! The bread wrap is soft and perfectly grilled, the Tzatziki sauce is creamy & delicious, the vegetables are very fresh & crispy - overall a wonderful treat! Also, the portions are very generous. I returned today & tried the baba ghanoush- out of this world! The creamy smokiness was so delicious- really one of my favorite things I've ever eaten!“
“Had lunch here with my daughter, and the food was delicious and the service was outstanding! I ordered the Ballstonian sandwich with a pot of Irish breakfast tea. Our server was kind and attentive and everything was excellent. Can't wait to come back and try something else on the menu!“
“Brewtus, our local small progressive coffee gem, has become a staple in both my routine and my dog's social calendar. The staff's genuine affection for pets is evident, with complimentary treats that make every visit a delight. What truly sets Brewtus apart is the staff's refreshing attitude – they're not coffee snobs. While they serve up expertly crafted brews, there's no air of pretentiousness. The baristas are approachable, friendly, and more than happy to guide you through their diverse menu without a hint of condescension. It's not just a coffee stop; it's a community hub where coffee fans alike come together to share moments and appreciate the simple pleasures.“
“Very good coffee and service. Lots of space to sit and work. Clean space - more industrial than cozy. This is not a place to get snacks. They have a few pastries if you really need something, but there is a bahn mi place in the same building for something more substantial. Alias is open until 5, including Saturdays and Sundays, which is appreciated since many places are closed on weekends in that neck of the woods.“
“I was up in Albany visiting my daughter and I just had to find a welcoming place to have coffee. Well, I found it. this place is AMAZING and will go out of my way any day to stop by and relax. Also, just came back from France and their chocolate croissants were as good and even better than in France. You will not be disappointed. Can't say enough about it.“
“this is my family's go to spot for coffee and caffinated yummy drinks. all the cold berry lattes are really nice and flavourful, the frappes and lattes are just right on the money and the food is always great, and clearly made by people who love what they do. also, the service is excellent. Margie and her staff are super cool.“
“This is such an amazing place to hang with friends/family!!! Always love going there to snack on the delicious drinks/treats support small artists by browsing the featured products, and of course play from a hugeeee selection of games:) we celebrated a birthday there, and Olivia was such a sweet and amazing employee who went out of her way to make an adorable card and treat our birthday girl:) she really made our night!! Thank you Olivia :))“
“This shop is great! Line is long, rainy and cold out, & Asia is taking orders, making drinks - even suggestions for my complicated request - giving time expectations, & serving up with professional friendliness. It’s good coffee, & fantastic work ethic!“

“This was the most enjoyable eat out I’ve ever had. The food was so delicious and the service was fantastic. Derrik was a wonderful server and deserves 5/5 stars alone. Will almost definitely be back and highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a good cup of tea and a calm dinning experience.“
“Nice coffee shop in a hip area on Jay St. Owner and service are friendly. Good atmosphere. Pricing is average for coffee. Ordered a lg hot Skybar and 1 lg iced Smore's and was disappointed on the flavor profiles. Not sure if they forgot to flavor both coffee's but both tasted like straight espresso. The coffee was also bitter compared to most places which could mean a couple things but are easy fixes. I'll give them another try. On a street with 2 other coffee shops they need to make some minor adjustments and I think they'll be a hit!“
“RUN!!!!! Don’t walk here! Food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Very generous portions!! First time trying this spot and I will forever give them my business!! The food was stellar and the service was top notch!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! The Hungry Bowl was HUGE and the flavor deff matched it!! The breakfast sammie was DELISH, the home fries were crispy and seasoned so well! Not pictured was the chicken and waffles which was perfect!!! Again RUN DONT WALK!!!!!“
“The Bubble Tea options at Gong Cha are stupendous! I have tried several flavors, throughout the past month, but I especially enjoy their strawberry milk tea -- so flavorful, and little chunks of strawberry. Personally, I find that double tapioca better aligns the rate of boba consumption with the rate of tea consumption, so that they both run out at the same time. While the cost per drink is more than I paid at my previous favorite bubble tea store, the quality here is worth the small increase in price.“
“I have wanted to try the Troy location but it's always packed so it was nice to jump in here. I got a specialty latte-pistachio orange blossom.. So delicious but so sweet. If I had it again I'd ask for half the syrup. Could be because I also got Oatmilk which is sweet. Pricey drink--over $8. I don't think this would be an every day stop but I did enjoy it, staff was lovely and it's a great space.“
“Cute little shop with a counter only inside and 2 small tables outside. Enjoyed a 10 oz latte with oat milk for $4.59 that was strong, a little bitter but tasty. Barista was pleasant and efficient but didn't make eye contact (which would have earned this review 5 stars).“
“I stopped in based on the pic of all the yummy baked goods, & I'm glad I did. The raspberry mocha latte was divine--I could taste the flavors and not just coffee. The cranberry orange scone was also pretty darn tasty. The star of the show was the pistachio muffin, however, with wonderful pieces of nuts and a lovely green color. Honey feel and friendly staff. Can't wait to return when it's warmer to enjoy my goodies outside on the porch.“
“Food and coffee tasted good. Although order was wrong, and service was weird. Not acknowledged at all, stood waiting to take my order until someone else came in and tried to go in front and I just mentioned I hadn't ordered yet...strange. Cute coffee shop though, so would give another shot.“
“Does Stacks Espresso Bar stack up? That is the question on my mind this morning as I try a large cup of their Ethiopian blend. I have it black with no sugar. The roast promises juicy hints of plum and raspberry, and while it doesn't quite hit the juicy mark, it definitely gets points for being fruity-delicious... The reason why it doesn't hit the juicy sweet spot is that I'm not desiring more.... Thumbs up for the semisweet aftertaste!UPDATE: I've returned to Stacks Espresso Bar twice since my first visit on Sunday. I've since tried their cortado, espresso with an equal amount of milk to reduce acidity, and a large cup of their house blend drip coffee, black, no sugar. The cortado was on point, it was only my second time having one. It was very mellow and flavorful. The house blend is my new favorite, right here in downtown Troy, a 15 minute walk from my place. The blend is nutty and smooth, as advertised, and has a slow-sip-worthy bittersweet aftertaste, which I love...“
“Outstanding! Huge assortment of drinks available. Best DIRTY CHAI EVERRRRR! Both gluten free and regular bread options. Beautiful & tasty treats. The quiche is really good! Several varieties. Service was fast and friendly. I will always stop when I'm in the area!“
“Where do I begin? We love Cullens. We were so excited when we heard they were opening a coffee shop in Hannaford Plaza. The staff is all AMAZING. EVERY...SINGLE...ONE. Mike, the head baker and owner makes the best bagels! Mine are always hot off the press when I get one. My oldest likes their bagels as well. Their coffee and tea drinks are very tasty as well. And to top it all off, Cullens is lending Voorheesville Production chairs and a table for Chicago! They are such an integral part of the Voorheesville Community. When hardships strike, they are front line to help in big ways. Cullens is great! Everyone should try it!“
“This place peaked my interest because it is always jam packed when I come downtown on Sundays. Yesterday I decided to give it a try and all I can say is wow, I found my new favorite spot in Schenectady!I had a hard time choosing my Latte because so many sounded so good, but I went with one of their favorites on the chalk sign, the Baklava, YUM!!!! I got a banana muffin to go with it and a breakfast sandwich that had avocado and spring mix, and both were delicious. They told me the muffins are made there and you could tell, fresh and amazing. ♡While I was waiting for my food (which was not long, surprising with the line).I heard one of the staff from the kitchen talking with people as she brought their food, and I loved she knew so many people by name. They obviously have a lot of regulars, and I can see why! The food was excellent and the service and atmosphere felt like being a guest in a friend's home. I'll definitely be back! Great job Bud's on Jay!- Lauren“
“Stopped in for lunch and was very impressed. The lunch menu was a good deal, I got the stir fry with shrimp and it was delicious, perfect portion too. The service I received was very friendly and accommodating, and I really liked the ambiance. It's in an A frame building with a cute bar and separate dining area. Lunch specials a plenty, drink specials, daily specials...I love a place that offers a value and doesn't skimp on the details.“
“Had another great visit to a Starbucks. They just changed over to winter beverages, but luckily they keep some options from the previous season for longer.I'm never ready for the end of Pumpkin season.Staff was pleasant, service was quick and efficient. Pretty sure they even spelled my name right!“
“miss the coffee club from many years ago. it was amazing and educational at first, then another person within the coffee club got on a "power trip, and ruined the entire thing". when the coffee club first started it was an amazing way to have a bite to eat, gather with friends, learn about different coffee's and roasts... once the other person took over, it was Mandatory to reserve a spot, and then this individual raised the cost to almost double the cost, with a very limited menu, which this individual revamped the menu to suit their needs ... I get it , there are food allergies, and may be vegetarian or gluten free foods.. their was no longer any input from anyone else in the coffee club... and then the portions and coffee and teas were limited.... I was extremely disappointed.... it only one individual to ruin a great night out with friends“
“A winter storm took out most of our towns power last night and the three employees were absolutely swamped- Christina helped me and was like a machine churning out drinks under a lot of pressure. Despite being spread so thin the three employees were all doing great, thank you for your hard work “
“UPDATE 1/30/24: After hearing about my experience, the manager reached out to me directly to apologize for the mistake and worked quickly to find resolution. I feel heard and appreciated by this establishment. This is the kind of service we all deserve and I’m happy to be able to update my review. It’s great to see businesses that appreciate their customers and want to make sure any wrong is addressed and quickly righted. BARE has amazing options for vegan and gluten free dietary restrictions which is difficult to find. I’m glad to be able to return.—Extremely disappointed with my order and the response when calling about the mistake. I placed an order for 3 açaí bowls, only 1 of them was made correctly.I called to let them know of the mistake, and the response was they’d write my name down and next time I come in they’ll give me 20% off my order. I will not be back.“
“Love this place. Lots of options to drink and eat including bagels, sandwiches, paninis, and salads. Their drinks are great they have a ton of coffees and teas. The chai latte was delicious. Plenty of seating and they have comfy chairs to read a book or do work all day without feeling guilty for staying. Definitely recommend. They also have a small room I think you can book for small get togethers.“
“Rich and his crew are the best hands down. Always greeted with a good morning and a smile. Make it a point to stop here most mornings, hopefully someone from corporate can see how this crew works because this is how it should be doneRich and crew awesome job!!!!!!“
“When a customer asks for whipped cream and you give them none. I gave a 3 dollar tip with a 3 dollar coffee , and got to my office and no whipped cream. 2 times now same Dunkin, and went thru drive thru when it was not busy. Let's do better , please.“
