“Stopped in for lunch. I am from outta state and wasn't expecting much, they blew me away the service was so wonderful very friendly and very good at there job. The prices are amazing (especially considering it's in NY where everything is overpriced) They have a huge menu with all the normal comfort foods but also have some things that's unique. I actually ordered Meatloaf Parm not only had I never tried it before but had never heard of it before. It was amazing and you get huge portions with a soup or salad . I recommend this place100%“
“Food is excellent, the diner itself is beautiful on the interior and the people are cheery. The waffles and breakfast sandwich options are superb, and the food came out ridiculously fast. Our empty drinks were never taken for refills, though, and that’s kinda sad.“
“We didn’t realize that the “diner menu” ended at 4PM. We were pleasantly surprised! The Ecuadorian/Mexican menu is delicious. I got a chicken chimichanga - for only about $12, I was surprised by the sheer volume of food that came out. It was plated beautifully and was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend checking out the dinner menu.“
“First time at Manory’s today. 10/10 recommended. Place was busy, but it did not feel crowded or long wait. We got seated in less than 3 minutes. Food was amazing. Pancakes were nice and thin and fluffy. The scrambled eggs were perfect and the Sausage as well was amazing with the home fries. Service was great and good did not take long at all to come even with the place busy. In and out eating in a reasonable time. Price is perfect for the 2 of us with coffee and drinks with food came out to 44$. Menu has a ton of options. Can’t wait to come back here!“
“Went for breakfast on a very busy Sunday morning. Electricity was out due to ice and snow, so assuming that locals were there because our hotel just up yhe road was out.Food was acceptable. Cooked as ordered. Service was ok. They were filled and people waiting.Wait time was ok as I said they were very busy.Felt good value for price. Will stop again when in area.“
“Our whole little family met in Albany yesterday morning for a surprise 70th Birthday for my sister who lives in Vermont and wasn't able to get out of Vermont! We celebrated without her at a Greek restaurant in which we were capped since we made a reservation.! Everyone stayed over and she made it at 11 AM today 13 of us and we had another party! I could be the only one who plans a party and it snows again! All is good and a great time in Albany today! If any one is in Albany stop by the Capital City Diner who doesn't take reservations but set us up this morning when they heard what happened! They fixed our problem! ?Her son came from Maine on Friday thank goodness and we had NJ, NY and PA with us! Thank you so much Capital City Diner you guys totally Rock and made a special Birthday and everyone happy! Waitresses were great! Great food! All i can say is THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! Her daughter lives around the corner from you and my sister will be back on her visits for sure! You GET A 10 STAR FROM ME!“
“We were hesitant when I saw the building from outside, but we immediately changed our mind as soon as I walked in the door. Super cute decoration and nice little place. We had hot turkey sandwich and #2 big breakfast. We loved every single thing that we ordered! The service was nice and attentive. Thank you!“
“I think this place is under new ownership and in transition but the new folks are really friendly and the food is very good. I had a simple grilled chicken sandwich. It was prepared well and quickly and was perfectly balanced and very tasty. The standout feature was the hard role it was served on. It was soft, yeasty and much more memorable than you'd think sandwich delivery media has any businesses being.Parking: This place us inside an office building with lots of free parking and a traffic light controlling access to Western Ave. so you can get out without worrying if you need to take a left.“
“I’ve been coming here since I was a small child, their pancakes are incredible & other food is consistently stellar. Mark is a great waiter and consistently knowledgeable / provides great service.Today, I went for lunch, and had a tasty meal. When I was leaving, I inquired with a waitress about what soups in the freezer were vegan. She condescending told me that if I knew how to make soup, I would know if they were vegan, despite there being no ingredient list on the soup containers. She then incorrectly told me that one of the soups (the Cuban black bean) was vegan. Thankfully Mark checked me out and was able to advise that the Cuban black bean soup had pork in it! His attention to detail is greatly appreciated.I will be back the next time I’m in town and I will be sure to inquire about the contents of the food with those who are more knowledgeable in the soup making process. It might not be a bad idea to label soups as vegan along with listing potential allergens. I would love to see a tofu scramble on the menu as well!Happy New Year team!Vegetarian options: A tofu scramble would be a welcome addition!“
