“An amazing experience. Great food and family atmosphere”

“Maybe we were overhyped. Everything I heard and read said this place was legendary. But the menu was limited: beef on Weck and buffalo wings... or if you want a pizza, you can get the same options but on a crust with cheese. Otherwise, fairly standard sports bar apps.
The inside seemed too dark for a lunch, and the 'outside' area with lots of snow was crowded. Service was polite, but slow for such a small menu. We're told the place always gets a wait by noon and yet it takes 25 minutes to get your food even with so few options for entrees seems uncalculated and unnecessarily slow.
Food was good, but I'd say I've had equal quality wings and sauce at a bit fairer price. And the beef on weck seemed on par with Charlie the butcher, but comes with a handful of chips, not fries, at $15 for just the sandwich? I couldn't go 5 stars. Cost of business, I suppose

“First off, I just want to say I do love your pizza and it’s refreshing to see a local restaurant that doesn’t sling the same style of Buffalo pizza that so many others do. I really think you guys need a full-service bar with taps and interesting cocktails. I feel your business would skyrocket if you had a larger building that could accommodate a big boy bar. I’ve lived and traveled all over and one place that would be worth a visit for you is Savoy in West Hartford, CT. They nail the business model of artisan pizzeria and cocktail bar. Either way, decent attempt at an operation and happy to have you in EA.”

“Charlie's has THE BEST Fish Fry , not only in East Aurora, but in the whole area. It's crunchy on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside. Comes with the usual sides plus choice of potato. It's enough for 2 meals and at the lowest price around. Delicious.”

“We were looking for the Cycling Frog drinks and they were the closest who carried it. We came to just pick up, not to drink there but it looked like a really cozy and cool place to have a drink. The woman working there was fantastic, we came because it said that they carried a limited seasonal flavor of the drink and they were all out but she was kind enough to go and grab us a single can that they were selling and it was the last one. It looked like it had a good selection of beers too.”

“I purchased the works breakfast sandwich and an iced chai latte. The sandwich was amazing. They put it on homemade English muffin and tasted so fresh. The iced chai latte was amazing as well. I would highly recommend.”

“I had the best burger of my LIFE at 189, thanks to Jay! The bourbon onion burger he crafted for me was truly a masterpiece. Even the fries were memorable: crisp and tasty. Their servers are extremely professional and courteous without being stiff--a rare combination indeed.
I'm not a whiskey drinker, but their beer selection is very adequate. This is the place to eat in East Aurora.”

“Easily the best wing spot in Buffalo. The wings are always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the blue cheese is sweeter than most but not as sweet as rooties. Classic location with the option to take your food to go, and grab a beer from brew works before sitting down at one of the picnic tables outside. Can't go wrong with Bar-”

“We love Rosie’s! The Bada Bing Bada Bourbon in the homemade waffle cone is easily one of the best ice cream cones I’ve had. Their seasonal Razzle Dazzle is a close second. They’re dog friendly and offer pup cups which is always a plus for us. Friendly staff, great price and very generous portions. Love to see their new creations each time. We’d love for them to start offering flights!”

“We are so happy that we decided to use Blue Eyed Baker for our wedding desserts! We ended up with a clear vision of multiple different desserts that we wanted, and Madelyn and the entire team made everything come to life exactly as we pictured. From making custom tasting boxes so we were 100% sure of our flavors, to working with our florist to get matching flowers on the cake, everything was very clear from start to finish. And it all tasted amazing too! Our venue was a bit of a drive away from the bakery (Akron from East Aurora), but delivery was on time and flawless. (The cherry on top was that I knew our delivery person from a dance job years ago - thanks Becca!) I'd recommend Blue Eyed Baker for any event dessert needs, I only wish that I lived closer to East Aurora so I could come in more often!”

Reasonably priced for 35 people. did steak and chicken for meats . everything was fresh and delicious! manager and crew offered excellent customer service service when ordering and picking up!! great experience!”

“The waitress were attentive. We waited long time for the food, about 35 minutes. I ordered the Chilean sea bass. The macadamia nut was a little burned. The portion was small. The vegetables came with it consisted of inexpensive ingredients: squash and carrots. I didn't like the mashed potato. I only took one bite.”

“Nestled in a small corner of a plaza in East Aurora New York is Touka Sushi. As you walk in you're greeted by the cheery sight of their aquarium which hosts several happy, curious and vibrant fish.
I order the Beginner's Combo and have had it with the salad and at other times, the onion soup. To me the onion soup is my favourite choice. It's flavourful and simple tasting in the best way. It's lovely and oniony but also has a light mushroom flavour as well.
Everything is freshly made to order and is of such great quality. The rich is never cold and is always very tasty and tender.
The fish is so fresh. I am so glad that I know about this place and always look forward to having their sushi.”

We try to come weekly, whether it be for just some wine and cocktails, their exceptional desserts, or a light meal, if one of suggests mambrino, the other will always say yes! The servers and bartenders are all excellent and extremely personable. I would suggest checking it out, but then you might sit on the couch, and that’s where we like to sit!! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and even changed the channel for us on the TV closest to us. The Kobe beef burger was phenomenal! Highly recommend. “When I am near Buffalo with my family we make a point to stop at Mighty Taco and get many meatless mighty tacos. I hardly ever go in, just do drive through, but this time I did and found this delightful framed choking poster next to all the more serious historical photos and the little placard that said circa 2008 made me guffaw out loud.

“I have always loved eating here, the atmosphere would be enough for me, the food is just an added bonus. Anywhere that plays Frank Sinatra and friends in the dining room will always have my vote. The drinks are made so well, service is great, and food is always tasty, filling, and big enough portions to bring home leftovers.”
