“Danny was my sever and he over exceeded expectations. I would definitely come back and ask for him.The ambience on the restaurant is beautiful service was great, Food was awesome, Drinks was the perfect measurements. The staff overall made the experience very welcoming.“
“It was my first time dining here with friends and the meal did not disappoint! The seafood pajeon was so crispy and the seafood/flour ratio was perfect. The braised spicy chicken was flavorful and filling. The service here was also friendly and attentive too! Our server checked on us frequently and the owner was sweet and generous, making sure we enjoyed our stay. I can’t wait to come back here!“
“The sauce for the Filet Mignon Banh Mi was too sweet. The server explained that most American customers like sweet sauce. So I exchanged my sandwich for a Vietnamese Shrimp Summer Roll. The shrimp was clean and fresh, but the noodles were soggy.I will be back to try the Short Rib Banh Mi with a low sugar level. The service here was excellent!“
“Me and my friend recently dined here and I was pleasantly surprised. We started with the Happy Hour menu and ordered a few appetizers and drinks. The food was nicely seasoned and tasty. We then stayed for our dinner reservation and the food was delicious. We're definitely going back. I highly recommend.“
“Today was my birthday and my wife asked me where I wanted to dine out with our two kids. I mentioned a few options, and asked for her thoughts. She mentioned having gong to Yummy Yummy with some of her girl friends recently. I agreed and we headed out there. We arrive about 6:45pm and most Bell Blvd, 48th Ave or adjacent streets surrounding the restaurant are paid metered parking till 7pm Mon thru Sat, and Free Sundays. On the side roads if you walk further you'll notice where the paid metered parking ends there is free public parking. My wife called ahead and made reservations for my birthday for 7pm. In conversation they reserved us half a Hainanese Chicken. That was a good idea because the place was packed at 85% full when we arrived. This evening was cold and a col breeze would rush in when the front door was opened. This restaurant has its own style. It's clean, well lit, ceiling fans in the front half with wood planks hanging vertically evenly space like steps getting lower toward the front of the restaurant. The planks are burnt with texture and they seemed to absorb sound making the restaurant atmosphere less noisy with so many patrons talking - it was comfortable and you could hold a conversation. The tables and chairs were sturdy, clean, and did not rock or creak. The wait staff were courteous and attentive. If you speak Cantonese you'll enjoy your dining experience because my wife conversed with our waitress asking about dishes before we ordered. We ordered the following dishes and am listing them in the order they were served.Roti Pancake - we ordered two which was served with a small bowl of curry chicken with chucks of potato.Cumin Pork Knuckles - served in a plastic basket they were crispy and mouthwatering savory.Fried Beef Chow Fun - my son immediately mentioned the dish had Wok Hei, the beef and noodle was savory.Steak with Back Truffle and Mushrooms - The beef was tender , with thick slices of mushroom and potato, and the truffle infused sauce was delicious.Hainanese Chicken - there was a slight wait on this dish. The check was tender and moist, it was served on a bed of thin sliced cucumber. A sauce tray with four sauces accompanied the chicken adding to the flavor of this dish.* I'd recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but my top favorites were the Chow Fun and Steak.Normally I'd have provide pictures of all our dishes, but the food did not disappoint so I was only able to ask at the last moment my daughter to snap a quick picture of the Hainenese Chicken which I'm still waiting on her to forward to me for this review.Payment - We were told they didn't take Discover, and listed MasterCard or Visa, and cash is king.I gave Yummy Yummy 5 Stars based on the food, service, and atmosphere. There are more and more quality Asian restaurants beyond Manhattan/Chinatown, , Brooklyn/Chinatown, and Flushing/Chinatown. I'd rate it $$, but I'd keep in mind that prices have been rising. *One unofficial litmus test I'd point out is that if an Asian restaurant is patronized by a high number of Asian regularly there is a high chance the food is good.“
“So I'm in this shopping center often but this is my first time at Kirazu Sushi. There are about 3 dine in table plus a few seats at the sushi bar. I sat at the sushi bar with my husband. It was a busy night, lots of takeout orders and all tables filled. I really liked the vibe of the restaurant-fun music playing you want to sing along to. All other customers were returning customers, the owner greeted many by first name. Lovely waitress who was kind and the sushi chef was non stop making sushi for everyone. The staff running the restaurant said it was a busy night so the sushi might take a little longer. It wasn't an issue at all because it was so nice listening to the music they had playing on a stereo and we ordered and enjoying our night. Once the food was served, I thought my sushi was great. I'm a lover of a dragon roll and sushi sandwich and the sushi chef did a great job with the ratio of all ingredients and flavors. I was really pleased with my meal and so was my husband. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual sushi dinner for locals of the neighborhood to enjoy. I will be back!!Thanks for a great experience“
“The CP value of Happy hour is very high, 6 oysters are only $8, House wine is $5, there are not many side dishes options, and the dinner price is on the high side, but they are all fresh and delicious. The decoration is very special. There are wine bottles hanging directly above the bar. The bookcases on the right wall are divided by picture frames. There are small tables and high chairs in each frame. Lighting made of deer antlers hangs from the ceiling. You can see it everywhere. Ingenuity.“
“Came here on a Friday night craving sushi with my wife. We ordered the 3 classic rolls plus an additional which came with one soup. We ordered miso soup with it which I was going to give to my wife. But he came and brought us 2 soups! One free! He was so kind and service was amazing. Will DEFINITELY be coming back. Also love the interior of this place so nice and cozy!“
“The service is nice, the store was empty when we came in we were the only customers. The store is really dark and the ambience is a bit calm because the music wasn't blasting in our ears. We ordered the Japanese shumai and it was okay to say the best. We also got braised beef noodle soup and it was good. I liked how there were different types of noodles you could pick, we picked egg noodles. The beef was soft and literally just melted in your mouth. However, we did hear the microwave go off a couple of times before getting our food which was kind of weird.“
“My boyfriend and I were craving something sweet late at night so we found this place on seamless. The delivery person brought our desserts whilst it was snowing pretty hardcore! We were so appreciative. The desserts were yummy! We ordered the mango cheesecake and Oreo stuffed cake. Fun note is that there's an ice cream filling in the Oreo cake. We are definitely ordering from here again and trying their other desserts.“
“The service is great, the food is delicious and the presentation is even better! I ordered their lunch chicken teriyaki Benton box . A plate like this would cost $35 plus dollars in Manhattan but in Jamaica NY it was less than $20.The picture doesn’t include the Thai tea I ordered and the salad that comes with the bento box.The place is clean and the food presentation is exceptional.“
“I've eaten here in person and often get delivery from here. The sushi rolls are so fresh! It's a little on the pricey side compared to some other sushi spots in the area but it's definitely worth it! Fast delivery and fresh food. And when I ate there by myself before, the service was welcoming and fast. I definitely recommend this place!“
“Food was good, drinks were NOT it. However service could have been better. Our sever was pretty rude and made an error with my husbands order then had the audacity to role her eyes once we corrected her. We weren’t rude at all about it. It’s totally ok things happen. But don’t roll your eyes. You work in the service / restaurant industry. Then to top it off they automatically charge 18% tip to your bill. Again totally fine, but I think that’s why we were given poor service as they know they will make their money regardless. This place leaves much to be desired.“
“I ordered Musubi. It didn’t look like on a picture, but tasted pretty good. Prices inside cheaper then ordering to go (maybe it’s like this everywhere, but that’s what I noticed). I was waiting for a while for my order even though place was not busy. I would come back to try poke bowl if I would be in the area, but wouldn’t drive there just for the food.“
“My wife and I came to Nomiya for a Valentine’s date. The food was good, though there’s definitely good sushi in the area for cheaper. Service was pretty lackluster. Nobody checked on us during the meal, they cleared our plates but we had to wait 15 minutes and then flag somebody down to get our bill. It’s quite a small restaurant and wasn’t full at the time.“
“I’ve been going here for over 20 years since I was a kid. It was the first time I had ever tried sushi and I haven’t found one place that beats their quality and service. It’s a hidden gem that more people need to know about. Godzilla and Kimmy are some of my favorites. Always a hard decision because everything is delicious.“
“Solid spot. They stay open very late. My group ordered a bunch of stuff and shared it. Nachos were great (bulgogi is the star), tteokbokki was spicy and delicious. Service was good, our waitress was helpful and accommodating. I'll be back again soon.“
“No its not only a sushi restaurant. We didnt have a single sushi but whatever we had was sumptuous, delicious and extremely carefully made. I will run out of words. We had walnut shrimp with chicken and beef negimaki. They were soooo good.“
“Stumbled across this wonderful place because many surrounding sushi places weren't open at 1 on a Sunday. So glad we ended up here. The food was delicious top notch service. They overheard we were celebrating a birthday and they brought out an ice dessert with a sparkler! It was a pleasant surprise. We'll definitely be back!“
“My family at Kinha Sushi New Year’s Eve and had a fantastic experience!! The restaurant so beautiful. Our server Sam is great! He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Sushi and sashimi were so fresh the colors beautiful. We love this place, Definitely coming back!“
“I am a regular at Taka and there’s a reason for it. The sushi is consistently top notch and the service is excellent! I’ve had almost everything on the menu and there wasn’t one dish I did not thoroughly enjoy. Amy, the owner is always hands-on and definitely knows how to run a restaurant as good as anyone does.“
“I've been here three times with three different groups of friends and they've all loved this place. I always get sushi however one person I went with didn't eat sushi, but he loved the General Tso's chicken. They have a great assortment and diversity of selections on their menu. Their sushi is very fresh, beautifully presented and melts in your mouth. There are plenty of cooked options as well for people who do not eat sushi. The ambience is nice with a smaller sized dining room, and the service is outstanding. It's nice because the servers are on top of your meal/order without being on top of your table. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back again.“
“Best Chinese food takeout in the LB-IP-Oceanside Area. Go to order: Pork soup dumplings (note: the cashier will clarify if you meant pork soup dumpling or dumpling soup. Yes, you do mean Pork Soup Dumpling), crab meat cheese wonton, pecking duck, eggplant with garlic sauce, and crispy shrimp w/ honey walnut“
“This is an upscale Asian restaurant. We went for lunch, and there is a wide ranging prix fixe lunch menu. I had a sushi appetizer and shrimp chow mei fun. My friend had a Raman dish and an egg roll. We also shared soup dumplings, and it all was excellent, as was the service. Why, then, is the fifth star missing? The prices. Although the prices were high, the lunch was worth it. However, my friend had a 12 year old McCallan on the rocks, and was charged $28.00. As a full bottle can be had for less than $60, I asked the waiter whether it was correct, or meant for the 18 year. He acknowledged that just the day before he had the same inquiry, and indeed the price was ridiculous. While the food tasted great, it just left a bad taste in my mouth.“
“Anzai is by far the best sushi restaurant! I order from them frequently and am never disappointed. The food is always fresh and so delicious, and the workers are all very nice. Every time I go to a different sushi restaurant, I always find Anzai to remain my favorite. Go to Anzai, you will not be disappointed!“
“Good here is always good! The kani salad is one of my favs. Our waiter Gabriel was fantastic! We did have an issue with the bill. We were no lt informed that there would be an additional charge for ordering a bounce shot near. We asked to speak with the manager- Patricia. She was the least helpful manager I have ever come across. She was not willing to do anything. She kept repeating I don’t have the authority to change the price or comp a drink or anything all I can do is go back to my boss and let him know. I’ve been coming tj Kashi for years and had never been charged the extra before or come across a manager who could do nothing for the customer. Definitely left with a bad taste in my mouth. 1/5 for Patricia“
“I totally did not expect this place to be this nice inside and big to what it looks like outside. Very good service and food. The restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table less than 10min for a family of 4, at a hibachi spot where they cook in front of you. Free parking lot available but the spots are very small.“
“Best sushi in Long Beach… scratch that… BEST SUSHI ON LONG ISLAND. Food is absolutely incredible and the service is amazing. Would recommend to anyone who likes sushi, or classic dishes like sesame chicken. After one visit I am most definitely a regular!!“
“I love going to get food here. It's always fresh, always delicious, and I never feel like I wasted my money. The drinks are made very well. They have very good customer service with attentive bartenders and servers. Security is always professional and on point. The chef is amazing. I recommend lunch and dinner. Also, Thursdays-Saturday has a nice night-time vibe with great DJs and rhythmic atmosphere“
“Cozy Korean restaurant that specializes in seriously good stews. i was recommended the goat stew and it was hearty and flavorful. I also got the spicy chicken stew which is yook gae jang but with chicken. The ban chan ( free side dishes ) was great as well and paired nicely with the stews.Such a great place to warm up and fill up on delicious healthy stews. They have heated benches which felt amazing since I came during cold winter day during a snow squall.“
“Its a good restaurant. The foods are very delicious and tasty. The staffs are very friendly. They have very little dine in space. But they are gonna expand there business in different locations in future. If you want to taste nice bengali or asian food you can try this restaurant. I liked this restaurant very much.“
“I've been to Xaga Sushi several times now, and I've never been disappointed. My favorite roll is the Xaga Roll, which is made with spicy tuna, avocado, and cucumber. It's the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The service at Xaga Sushi is also excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations.Overall, I highly recommend Xaga Sushi to anyone looking for a great sushi experience. It's a small, intimate restaurant with big flavors.“
“We came here for a very rare parents' night out. The ambiance is gorgeous. Very cool without trying too hard, just the right amount of dimness to the lighting and it was very, very clean. The food was excellent. We had a sushi roll that was super fresh and tasty, the veggie pad thai was delicious and didn't taste like noodles with peanut butter as it so often unfortunately can. The Mongolian beef skillet was a sizzling joy of beefy, veggie, saucy goodness. And the MoCatini was awesome! Can't wait to come back soon!“
“One of my most favorite places in Bayside! The food is excellent. The service is excellent and the prices are most reasonable. They also have a separate room in the back. Should you want a little privacy for your party. My tip is tried the Mitotini!!! it is absolutely delicious!!!“
“JR Fusion is a great place and offers a variety of Thai, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. There dumplings are delicious and not doughy. Must try honey bbq'd ribs. Great to have a tasty meal and a drink and not go broke. Also, the service is friendly and quick. If you're in Long Beach, give it a try.“
“I was craving wings for the Super Bowl. So after doing a quick search we found out about Bonchon. There's another restaurant in Bayside but it said that parking was difficult. This Bonchon had a lot. When we drove in, there was a sign outside that said that they were only doing take out. Once inside they said that they only had wings and fries, which was perfect! That's all I wanted. After putting in an order of 20 wings (half spicy, half soy garlic) and an order of fries. We waited about 10 minutes after putting in our order. We polished off the fries in the car. They were better hot anyway. When we got into the house, we immediately tore into those wings. I was a little surprised at how some of them were smaller than what I was used to. They were still pretty crispy. The soy garlic wings are my favorite. It was very flavorful. The spicy wings were painfully delicious; painful because it burned my tongue and made my eyes watered. The complimentary pickled radish helped cool the fire. It was a satisfying lunch.“
“This place offer a delightful array of sushi dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The food was undoubtedly a highlight of the dining experience. However, I was slightly disappointed with the martinis, as they fell short of expectations. While the selection was varied, the execution left something to be desired, lacking the finesse and flavor profile I had hoped for. Nonetheless, the overall ambiance and service were pleasant, making Nova Sushi a worthwhile destination for sushi enthusiasts.“
“we celebrated my family's bday 2x here already . the food was delicious the roles where food all around we recommend below is my breakdown : duck fried rice 10/10 combo beef and chicken teriyaki 9/10 beef and broccoli with brown sauce 9/10 general tso chicken 9/10 chicken with eggplant 10/10 tad bit spicy but not to much sushi: lover's roll 7/10 mexican roll 9/10 philadelphia roll for me 10/10 but my family didn't like the cream chee“
“4.9/5.0Been looking for a very good Chinese takeout place near home. We finally found it. We will be regulars here.Beef with Garlic sauce - 5/5. Beef is a bit thicker cut but still tender. Flavors are spot on 5/5.General Tso Chicken - 4.9/5. It’s long strips of white meat chicken surrounded by a thick batter approximately 3-4mm thickness. It’s too thick, should be lightly coated, half meat and half batter. Outside is very crispy. The sauce is a bit sweet than I like.Thai Curry Chicken - 5/5. I usually don’t like this dish, my wife loves it. But with this dish, I couldn’t stop eating it. Flavor is 5/5, one of the best I had so far. Sauce is thicker than usual but I think it works for this dish, more flavor instead of the liquidity sauce other takeout places make it.Egg rolls. 4.0/5. Very crispy on outside. Flavor is 4.5/5. What makes this dish rated poorly is the filling, it’s mushy. Had far worse egg rolls but wish it wasn’t mushy. Flavor is certainly there. There are 3 tables for dine in, two 4 seaters, one 2 seater. If you dine in, you’ll get thick Dixie/Walmart generic quality disposable plates, not the flimsy pizza paper plates or styrofoam plates like many other places serve. Utensils also nice decent quality that you can actually use to cut meat with, not the thin plastic flimsy knives that bend.Service was top notch considering for a takeout place, guy brought out the food twice on a tray as it was ready. Other places just simply say food ready for pick up.“
“Among the lunch special $13.99 menu, I ordered mapo tofu and chose fried rice. You can also choose black bean noodles or white rice. It's a shame it wasn't very spicy, but the amount was just right. They gave me some warm tea and I enjoyed it. They gave us extra onions and pickled radish, were friendly, and had a nice atmosphere. It's clean. Gochu Jjamppong ($13.99) also has a lot of seafood..“
“There's a few tables, but this is primarily a take out establishment. We've searched far and wide to find a decent Chinese restaurant and are so happy to find this one! The food is consistently good, they are very nice and aways include all the extras like duck sauce, soy and mustard while preparing your order.“
“Great place to grab a quick bite. This place specializes in all types of sushi such as sashimi, nigiri and even specialty rolls. Their specialty rolls are pretty decent, I wouldn't say amazing. Place was clean but really dark and it had a dingy feel to it. The staff were very friendly and attentive though.“
“my old favorite chicken restaurant. The best ever delicious Korean chicken in Flushing!! ??Clean oil and seasoning always make me come back to Flushing Pelicana, even if I eat other chicken. Usually, when I order to go, I eat boneless chicken, but when I eat at a restaurant, I eat a combo menu!! Chicken is the best menu, however other menu also sooooo goooood to me! I bet you, you will love it as much as me!! You should try every single one!! Strongly recommend it!!“
“After so many times trying multiple Chinese food reasturants and take out places I can finally say Oriental Garden has the most delicious food! We had pretty much everything from the menu and was super FRESH with high quality ingredients which is hard to get in most of the Chinese places. As far as price, I'm ok with. After all most important is the quality of what I ingest ?“
“Went here for my birthday the other day and the food was good, the owner was very personable and kind. I'll definitely go her again. I really enjoy Buddhist food.Vegetarian options: EverythingDietary restrictions: Vegetarian/veganWheelchair accessibility: No step to worry about just a door“
“I came to Wild Ginger with a girlfriend who lives in the area for lunch. I didn't know they did lunch specials and I was pleasantly surprised that they had them. I got the sesame chicken lunch special with the dumplings appetizer that came with it. The service was quick and the restaurant was fairly quiet because it was a Tuesday afternoon. I'm always pleased with the wild gingers I have gone to.“
“This place is pretty good for a hot bar food court. There were a good number of people seated eating the food, so I knew the food wasn't just sitting there all day. The food was tasty and cooked nicely. I was a little surprised that they used a longer grain rice instead of a shorter grain, but it was good with the entrees. I got the lunch combo special with 3 entree choices and soup. I would go back again for the ease and convienence, as well as for the flavors. I want to try the other offerings at the food court, since they looked pretty yummy. Next time I hope to explore the supermarket itself.“
“This is a great restaurant in queens. We love the food and the attentive staff. The sushi is delicious as the drinks. Parking is easy and they have a great all you can eat buffet made to order. The staff again is very sweet and make the experience better. A must try if you're in Kew Gardens hills.“
“Pros Tips:1) wings over big drum sticks2) mix and match - soy garlic and sweet chili (unique flavor ( get bbq anywhere)3) EAT RADISH! It's vinegar with sugar so it's damn sweet and helps you eat more4) eat one soy drumstick then eat one sweet chili wing.5) ADVANCED. eat one bite of soy then I e bite of sweet chili.***SUPER LEVEL*** RIP THE MEAT MIX TOGETHER AND PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH!!!6) for ultimate drink with a sprite, get your own though cause who wants to pay over two bucks a can, right.Con: this is double fried and you'll feel some heart palpitations and grogginess afterwards but the bliss was nice while it lasted. :)$30 for 20 wings.. you'll be good after 10-12, anymore and you're stuffing it. Either way enjoy another 6-8 for lunch tomorrow.“
“This is a hidden gem in East Rockaway! The food is delicious. We ordered Kung Po Chicken and Gyoza. The chicken came with rice, wonton soup (so good!) and crackers. The gyoza was awesome. We’d definitely come back and use this place as our go-to restaurant for Asian food in the area.“
