“First and foremost, their pastries are wonderful! Came in the morning when everything was well stocked. They had a variety of bomboloni (Italian fried doughnuts), croissants, cookies and muffins. They had at least 3 different flavors of bomboloinis (orange spritz, blueberry/raspberry, strawberry cream) and at least 4 type of croissants (butter, everything, basil cream cheese, espresso). There were even more but I've forgotten. I got two sweet and two savory ones plus an Americano. The total was $28 which in my opinion is a decent price for NYC. I saw a board outside that a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee combo is $9. Other than what's displayed, they also have a food menu. I noticed someone ordered an everything croissant with egg and salmon or prosciutto. It looked really good so I will definitely be going back for that. They have a large space. There are cozy seats and tables at the front. The back has plenty of tables and chairs. They even have a long bar table with high chairs against the wall opposite their open kitchen. They also placed a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Most importantly, they have one clean handicap assessable restroom. Next to that there is a storage area that they tried to shield with trees. I appreciate they try to make the space pretty and clean.“

“I went to Caroline’s knowing about the great reviews and I am always looking to find great things to eat.I was greeted by a friendly employee and noticed very little selections were available because the shop just opened and was working on putting other flavors out so I was SO disappointed!... Anyway.. I really wanted to try the glaze and I came a long way for it to so asked how long will it be for the glazed and he said 10 minutes. In the meantime an obvious regular came in asking for her “usual” the glazed donut and was raving to the person on the phone that this was the best place for donuts… this made me even more excited!…Finally, the moment arrived, freshly made…the glazed donut. The space in Caroline’s is not a sit down and have your donut but you can stand by the window which is enough for two..three people tops. I chose to eat on the go and it was pure bliss!..Hell, I could have been mugged and asked, “Take everything but the donut”. “I’m a dog trainer who travels from neighborhood to neighborhood in NYC, dog sitting and training in-home, and this is by FAR my favorite community coffee shop. The staff are always attentive and friendly, and the owners make you feel as welcome as you might feel in a small town. Their French bulldog welcomes canine and human guests warmly, when the weather is nice and she feels like running the shop. Oh, and the coffee and pastries are heads above the rest. I drool thinking of them.“
“I tried this place after hearing about it on Instagram. Me and my husband went after the Washington Heights 5K that he participated in. We came a little early because I thought they opened at 10 but then I realized today is Sunday and they open an hour later so we went into Marshalls to kill time. Me and my husband both got juice. Usually when I have fresh juice at another place, most times they are not served cold and refreshing, and this place I had it cold and refreshing how I love it. I love going to this Dunkin's, because the staff is always courteous and gives me my order quickly! I LOVE the coffee here! I just wish that Lefrak would quit raising their rent every time they do a major improvement (which has nothing to do with Dunkin's)...“
