“This place serves variations of one chicken dish. The chicken was moist, and the ginger rice was also tasty. The broth was light but flavorful. What makes this place stand out is the sauces. They have a spicy lemongrass paste (?), ginger paste, garlic paste, sweet soy sauce (?), and chilis which really elevate the chicken. Seating inside is limited.”
“A great place to stop and try the rich flavor of Vietnamese culture. A little hide amongst the hustle and bustle of Jackson Heights , but a great find when you get there. Good environment, quiet , and I suggest the shrimp sour soup - delicious ! And their frog legs on a spice sauce ! A must go place when in Jackson Heights . Oh, they don’t have sparkling water , just in case . I ordered and I though they didn’t understand but in the end I realized they really didn’t have it .”
“Amazing, authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price! It can be overwhelming choosing a Thai place in Elmhurst/Jackson Heights, as the number of authentic spots are seeming endless. Sabay's perks are that it's right off the subway and easy to get to! I've had a lot of Thai food in the city & have been to Thailand twice.I found Sabay to be offer authentic meals, not catered to the American palate, and that's just how I like it! Beware though, when you ask for spicy it's very spicy Service was super quick and friendly. It's a small place but it did the trick, and for a late lunch we were the only folks there.”
“Delicious Yen-Ta-Fo Noodles and fried fish balls. I went to this restaurant so many time and food is always the same quality. Easy and friendly vibes all over the place. Nice service and super casual. You will see a lot of Thai people hanging out around.”
“I was at John's Pizzeria on a Sunday with Scott's Pizza Tours. We were pretty much the only ones there. We got to try the Sicilian. This place is the epitome of New York neighborhood pizza place. The décor is straight out of the 1960s when they probably opened. They probably own the building. It's a mother and daughter hand rolling the dough and doing absolutely everything. I'm sure they're doing it exactly the same way they've been doing it for the last 50+ years. Happy to see them survive and have a little social media presence. They aren't doing a lot of things here but what they do they do well.”
“Boon chu Thai restaurant offers affordable price with friendly nice smiled service and small capacity for dining in.When I come to eat at Boon Chu, I usually order THAI SHRIMP PASTE FRIED RICE WITH SWEET PORK AND ASSORTED CONDIMENTS or Khao kluk kapi (Shrimp Paste Fried Rice)My mom and I enjoy eating it at this restaurant”
“Been coming to this place since I was a kid in the 80's, the food has always been on point. Their steaks, choripan (Argentinian sausage in a short bread style hero) and empanada's never disappoint. This is a local restaurant, with great authentic food from Argentina. The waitresses and staff have been here for years, they're all great. If you're looking for 5 star service with a high end decorative ambiance, this is not the place, go somewhere else, cause this is a humble local hidden gem tbh. But if you're looking some real amazing local grub, in a restaurant that's been part of the neighborhood for decades, this is definitely a good spot to hit, the food never disappoints.”
“The best Thai restaurant in queens or maybe even NYC! It is a cozy little restaurant with delicious food. The servers are extremely kind and treat you like family. After years of always passing by I decided to try it for the first time and I am so glad I did. I love their drunken noodles and basil fried rice.”
“I had the pleasure of dining at this Indonesian restaurant with a diverse range of Indonesian dishes. Despite its small size, the portions served are quite generous, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the restaurant maintains a high level of cleanliness. The flavors of the food truly capture the essence of authentic Indonesian cuisine”
“This is a slightly newer and medium sized Filipino restaurant. The place is not fancy but it is clean and modern. We ordered several dishes to share: chicken adobo, lumpia shanghai, beef kaldereta, and chami noodles. Everything was very authentic. I felt that the lumpia was the best quality out of everything. They were super crispy and came to the table freshly fried. The other dishes were great as well. However, what prevents me from giving this place 5 stars is that I have been to other Filipino restaurants with bigger portions and slightly more flavorful dishes. The portions here are average size and the food was a tiny bit more bland than other restaurants. For example, their chicken adobo was light on the soy sauce and vinegar. Still an excellent choice for those who are the mood for some Filipino cuisine.”
“We were all very impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried a variety of dishes, including the Hainanese chicken, the Fujianese fried noodle, and the Indian pancake. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. My daughter especially loved the chicken and rice, and my brother raved about the noodleThe service was also excellent. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. She even brought out a high chair for my daughter and a coloring book to keep her entertained. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very welcoming. It was a great place to bring my family for a casual meal.Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Peninsula Malaysian Cuisine. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Malaysian meal.”
“My husband and I come to Juquila and the food, the service, the music, the quiet atmosphere are very good and delicious to eat,We enjoyed it very much. For dishes we ordered stuffed chiles, pozole (both with its accompaniment) and Jamaican water, everything was delicious;without a doubt now our favorite place to eat ? Thank you ?”
“Steak is delicious, I love the mash potatoes and the BBQ sauce is great. I would give a 5 for the service but they take a little long to bring the food even though it’s not busy.”
“Great place nearby for Chinese bbq! The food has been consistently good. I like to come here for brunch congee and roast meats over rice. Every time I've dined in, the food has been delicious. One time I got an order of roast pork to go and didn't like it as much but feel like that was a one off. The service has been good for us. It's also been the same gentleman that has waited our table and he's always been helpful and nice.”
“Charlotte was great and helped us get a receipt from a prior meal we needed. We came back a year later (3/25), and our meat server Jose was super friendly and provided excellent service!”
