“Okay... so I've been trying to find the best afghan food and it's been a struggle. I also don't have much to compare it to but at the same time I know what good food is and let me tell you.... THIS IS IT. It's cool because it's casual vibes. They give everything to you in a to go box so that's interesting, although they have seating for you. I got the beef bargh, chicken tikka and the lamb chops with my party. And omg the only thing they are missing are mantoos! But I am willing to drive from Astoria for this place so that says it all. It was SO SO good. I took my leftovers home and immediately devoured it and followed my meal with a food coma. Certainly want to gate keep this place but they deserve the recognition.“

“We have been looking for somewhere in nassau that makes shwarma and finally found Halal Kebab. Food was fresh, and flavorful! The prices are very reasonable.The very nice gentleman helping me gave me a rice pudding on the house when I said it was my first time there. Im glad to have found this gem of a restaurant, and will definitely be back to check out the rest of their food.“

Only thing I didn't like is that the blinds were drawn over all the windows, creating a fluorescent-only "office-like" atmosphere...in a restaurant!Curiously, the bread was pretty boring but the rice actually had some flava! Also odd, the chicken tikka was a bit dry but the lamb kabobs were juicy. Salad was all right though iceberg lettuce (but obviously fresh and even with a few thin strands of raddichio thrown in)...strangest of all, however, was the grilled veggies side-order: a whole tomato and bell pepper -- nice big ones, too -- but not chopped and kinda burnt all over instead of the gently seared slices served elsewhere!But will still come back fo' mo' 'bobs 'n' rice!!“
“I’ve gone to so many restaurants and lounges in both NJ and NY. This is the best by far. The owner makes everyone feel so welcome and accommodated. The music is always such a vibe, the chai and hookah are also just perfect. New spot but still severely underrated!!“

I went to Uzbekistan in 2021 and this restaurant reminded me of the wonderful food, the experienced staff and all of the people that surrounded me, who were all wonderful men and women. “We love this place so much.. their food, ambience, customer service everything. Even at the time of COVID, when we were a little sceptical about eating outside food, we ate from Shirazi Cafe. Specifically their family combo platter offers a variety of kabobs. This place is amazing for dine in, take out and arranging small get togethers.“
“I’ve been eating here since I was a kid, however, nowadays, it just doesn’t hit the same anymore. The quality of the food is decent and it doesn’t taste as flavorful as it did 7 years ago and the prices increased significantly. My go-to menu item was a grilled chicken sandwich combo and it costed $6 (7 years ago haha). I don’t know how much it costs now because I didn’t examine the menu like that.“
“We have been going to this restaurant since mid 90’s when we used to live in queens. We love their food. After we moved, we drive for an hour and half at least twice a month to get their food. Our favorite is combo#2 with two lamb tikka kebab and chicken tikka kebab with brown rice.“
