“This restaurant is the one I like best. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The crew is very attentive and the food they cook is so yummy. I am always happy to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.“
“We attended a Bengali wedding event here just this past week for the Gaye Holud ceremony. The event space and staff were absolutely wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and we had an extremely smooth experience. The food was well prepared and delicious. They were able to cater to both a Western and South Asian palette. The event space itself is beautiful and overall this experience was perfect for our needs.“
“EggHolic Indian Cuisine offers authentic flavors and a welcoming ambiance. Their standout dishes include the chicken toofani, delicious wraps and freshly prepared sandwiches. Loved their attentive service especially by Nitasha and Vipul making it a must-visit for Indian food enthusiasts. Lastly, their mango mastani is sweet treat definitely worth trying.Vegetarian options: They have paneer for vegetarians.“
“Had a craving for Bengali food and came across this gem. We tried the Chicken, Mutton and Fish curries, along with a couple of Vegetarian dishes, Rice and Kochuri. We also tried the fish fry, cutlets (fish and vegetarian), and a whole bunch of Bengali sweets. Everything was amazing. The Chef/Owner was kind and generous with her time and took great care of us. Looking forward to our next visit already!“
“At first glance, you would think this shop is just a wholesaler, but to my surprise you can actually buy boxes too!! They have a wide array/variety of sweets and all of them looked heavenyl. The gentleman whowas running the place is extremely professional and helpful. He allowed me to sample 4-5 pieces of the sweet itself. I ended up buying 4 small boxes and 2 big boxes. Toally affordable priced as well! My favorite was definitely the “Mango barfi” which is a milk based sweet. I finally have a place i can go to for all my sweet needs! Especially since it is Ramadan and sweets are necessary for every iftaar.“
“The food and the ambience was great. Kids enjoyed playing at the arcade and the foos ball table. Our servers (Farhana and Naren) were really good and made sure to clearly call out the signature dish so that we could order them and all their suggestions were good. Overall a nice restaurant to visit if you are in the Queens area.“
“In my opinion the best Indian food in the Kew Gardens area. The chicken vindaloo and garlic naan where great. My wife and I also tried the lamb biryani, which was to die for. The owner is friendly and my made our afternoon even better with his excellent and personal service.“
“Hands down best dosa, idli, vada, chutney, upma, pongal, mysore pak, and madras coffee. You can do Abhishek in Ganesh temple upstairs on a full stomach. Very satisfying and may improve your karma! Just not on a weekend though when it's crazy packed.“
“Expect for there to be a long wait, but trust me...the food is worth ANY wait. Hands down, the best roti around.Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian, the Potatoes and Chana with the Dhal Puri Roti on the side is my go-to order. Add a little Bertie's original pepper sauce and thank me later!“
“I called about catering dosas and the guy was super nice and gave me details on why dosas have to be made fresh and recommended some other places that might be able to do it. This is a place that cares about food quality and not just about money. Highly recommend.“
“It is a very good place to have traditional indian snacks and food , A must try in snacks is the bun chole and aloo tikki chaat and people who have a knack for yogurt products they can go for dahi bhalla with paapdi, in food they have outstanding aloo paratha with dal tadka and sarso da “
“Great sweets. Everything was really fresh. We picked up some sweets for family and everyone loved how fresh it was. I want to go back and try other sweets and maybe some samosas and other menu items. They also let us try things too. Only issue we had was we went late and they ran out of some stuff but that’s expected late in the day I guess“
“Super cozy, friendly, and delicious food. Tofu curry is a must ??Vegetarian options: Tofu Curry is awesome!Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options availableKid-friendliness: Theres a bar but its pretty low key and cozyWheelchair accessibility: Small ramp right in the front door.“
“After returning from our trip, we landed at JFK airport around 11:40 PM and found ourselves in need of place to eat. We searched and found this restaurant. A quick call and confirmed their operating hours assured us they were open. Our two families settled in and enjoyed a late dinner, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the service.“
“There is a lack of good Indian restaurants in Queens but I can say this restaurant is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Forest Hills (and Central Queens) and one of the best in the city. It's a small restaurant but clean, minimal, and welcoming; one half of the restaurant looks basic while the other half has South Asian inspired murals which is unique. This restaurant focuses on serving popular Indian dishes loved by people in the US, so I got a basic meal of lamb biryani, butter chicken, chili chicken, and cheese naan. The lamb biryani is not made like a slow cooked biryani but it has the flavor of proper Indian biryanis, and the lamb was actually tender and not very gamey. I asked for a medium spice Butter Chicken and I must say this restaurant has some of the best butter chicken and the medium spice is tolerable. I think some people underestimate how hard making a proper butter chicken is, but many restaurants overwhelm the dish with either too much cream or too much tomato so its either too heavy/sweet or too acidic and tomatoey, but this one was very much balanced. The chicken pieces were also soft. The chili chicken was nice and spicy, with some peppers and onions, you get a nice, saucy, spicy, and crunchy dish to start off your meal. The cheese naan was a bit of a let down though, it was not that cheesy and I believe the cheese used was paneer, so it does not give the taste, feel, or pull like mozarella would. Overall, this restaurant has the best Indian food in the neighborhood and does it right. Their staff and manager are also very attentive and they make time to talk to everyone for feedback and meal requests.Vegetarian options: Lot of cauliflower, paneer, and potato dishesWheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is technically in a basement but there is an elevator you can use to go down“
“Angelica is very sweet and helpful I didn’t know anything about Indian food she helped me order my meal. Goat Curry and Butter Chicken was sooo good! Highly recommend this very clean and delicious restaurant!! I will definitely be back soon!“
“OMG so delicious! It was my first time trying Indian food and the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan was like a warm hug to my soul. This place is great can’t wait to come back. My only critique is that I would’ve loved more chicken with my order it’s sliced thin and a little too sparse. But it was so yummy I wouldn’t take off a star for this.“
“During my recent visit to NY, I happened to visit this restaurant for the first time. The food was authentic and tasty. The ambience was good and the service was great. I would surely go back to this restaurant next time I visit Queens, NY.“
“This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city by far. It is open super late which is great for late night workers like myself. I am a vegetarian and there is a large selection of vegetarian options here, not sure about pure vegans but there should be plenty of options for them to as they have a large vegetarian selection with out dairy products. They are very accommodating to all dietary types on the staff is extremely friendly. I come here quite often and I’ve got to know some of the staff a little bit overtime. They know you and your order and they are very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions. This place is a great place to bring groups of people. I particularly like the nan. Their coconut nan is really interesting and good. I always get the vegetable soup here which is excellent and they have a large selection of vegetarian/vegan type Currys of which I get many. I really like the lemon rice as well. Their samosas are really fire.Vegetarian options: Large selection of veg appetizers and mains.Dietary restrictions: Perfect for vegetarians.Parking: Lots of free parking spaces right in front of the restaurant.“
“We got some food packed to go. The idlis were soft and freshly prepared. Chutney was good but the sambar was watery. We also got a plate of thali. They gave us chole, daal and sabzi (veg). All the dishes were spicy for our palate.Overall a decent meal at a reasonable price.“
“food and the atmosphere is amazing. Everybody was so welcoming and very open to satisfy me. I cant have spicy food and they hooked me up with food that helped me and was extremely enjoyable. Will most definitely start eating here more often and also come more for the vibes.“
“Service via Everytime I visit Queens, I make it a point to visit Singh's to get some good, authentic Trini food. From what I recall, pre-Covid Singh's was a lively restaurant where soca played through the speakers, a variety of Islanders would be liming and enjoying the vibes, and there was trini food and snacks galore. From Trini Chinese fried chicken, to doubles, to pone, chubby, shandy, and everything else that you'd want to enjoy. Since my first visit, I've remained loyal to Singh's.My last visit this past weekend, I didn't have the time to get over to their location, so instead I ordered on UberEats, grimacing at the $6.99 delivery fee. I placed my order at 6:30 a.m., since they open at 6 a.m. and received my order within an hour, delivered by a very polite young man. The food was packed very well - there was no spillage which I was expecting from the curry.I ordered pholourie (which came with TWO tasty tamarind sauces), 2 doubles, and one boneless chicken dhal puri roti. Everything tasted just like I remembered it to be. I packed some to take back with me to COS to extend the pleasure of the meal. Still, there was minimal spillage of the curry throughout my flights, so that was a huge win.Singh's thank you for your authentic Trini cuisine. I look forward to visiting your establishment when I next return.“
“Best Indian food I ever had, the owner is very kind, very well dressed and very nice guy, as well as the rest of the staff. The place is a step above others.... Since they left lexington ave I cant go quite as often as I used to... but still my favororite place... food is great, all the right spices... A++“
“We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Chaat Wala. The papri chaat and golgape were expertly prepared and delicious. Ingredients were fresh, presentation was excellent. We also had delicious chicken kebab and butter chicken. Our server Farhana was so kind, professional and attentive! We would love to keep in the know about your next endeavor!“
“One of the best north Indian food I have had in a while. Their tandoori chicken is the best. Delicious! Portion size was a little large for an Indian place. Just go and get your food, you won’t regret. The place is fairly easy to get to by subway as well as car.“
“In one word everything was so perfect!!I arranged a small surprise bridal shower party for my sister and we were all together 15 people and the restaurant and 2 owners did a very good job from helping decorating, serving food to every little details they were aware of.The floral background decoration was already there we just setup the table.Everything was perfectly perfect.Best wishes for the new restaurants and the food was ???Also convenient lication, available parking nearest blocks. Please go and check it out.Parking: I’m front of the restaurant is paid parking availableNearest residential blocks have free street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Anyone with wheelchair can easily get inside.“
“One of my family's favorite vegetarian restaurants! The Samosas are my personal favorite. The vibe in there is very nice and calm with a stunning interior, soothing music, and ambient lighting. Overall a great place and not too expensive.“
“This place was excellent, we had the vegetable samosas, chicken korma and biryani all cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service was great. They are a byob restaurant but no worries, you can buy a bottle of wine/beer across the street and bring it with you. We’ll be back!“
“We happen to come to Dilbar tonight, not knowing it was a "special" day for Hindus - Vishu - the start of the new year. A large (30) variety of vegetables were served on a banana leaf, that were delicious. Some of the specialities are not on their current menu, but were made special for the occasion. Prices were reasonable, and the staff was very attentive. Since this was a set price menu, they kept offering additional food.We will definitely be going back to try the regular menu.“
“I have ordered soya champ biryani i have been in America from 2 years but never ever eaten food like this its of indian taste i loved it and if anybody wants to eat indian food then i highly recommend this place its one place for every food and fresh i love the taste of biryani i go daily to eat things i guarantee if you go that place you can go again......“
“The food is good. Service is fast, the lady that works at the resister is nice and friendly. One thing I don’t like is the naan , when I order it to go it close to burnt or too dark over cooked so when u order remind them to not make it too dark.“
“One of the best Indian restaurants in/around Nassau. I have no time to go to Jackson Highets, but this place accommodates our craving for good Indian foods. Samosa Chaat here is a gem. I can eat this forever. I also love their butter chicken and garlic naan. Service is super good. A young Indian man is always behind the counter to serve. He is very friendly and kind.“
“Amazing food all around. Had the sweet corn soup and samosa chaat as starters, and they were both really good. The samosa chaat had the right spice level!Veg Hakka noodles is the main I got while my partner got Singapore noodles with shrimp. The Hakka noodles were perfection in texture, not oily, not soggy, just right and very generous portions too. Needed a little bit of salt but that's easily fixed and I'd rather have less salt in a dish than too much!Partner said the shrimp was cooked beautifully in their noodles and was very flavourful.Had the ras Malai for dessert and it was really good too. As previous reviews have mentioned, Tanveer was an excellent server and was very sweet and helpful. The restaurant is very clean, has really good table settings and overall the atmosphere is cosy for a dine in. Highly recommend them for their food + all around service.“
“First time there. Food was good, the goat portion was good. I ordered a chicken dish and a Gobi Manchurian both were very small in portion size the Gobi, regarding the chicken the sauce was really good the chicken wasn't enough for even a child.I will eat here again!“
“Had the best experience this evening! Our server Jessica was so pleasant and took care of us! She was so kind and attentive. Overall the food was delicious and excellent service. Definitely recommend coming here for authentic Guyanese food! Was worth coming all the way from Toronto!“

“The food was amazing. Literally some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Already planning the next date night here“
“The best West Indian food in the Bronx in my opinion.Everything is cooked and seasoned well, can order anything off the menu and it will taste good.It is reasonably priced, customer service is great, there is a reason it has been a neighborhood staple for so long.“
“Asked three different Indian friends finally confirm that pani puri is vegan, just make sure that they don’t add yogurt?this is my first time trying pani puri, I can’t believe that I never had it before !!!! It tastes amazing !!!! When it explores inside my mouth omg I’m totally addicted to it?especially i love spicy?totally recommend it?thank you धन्यवाद“
“Came here Sunday evening. The place was empty but it seemed like they had a lot of out going orders. We ordered an appetizer of a chickpea thing and it was so yummy! All 3 of us ordered different types of chicken. All 3 were delicious. Service was fast. I wish we got more of the bread crackers with the oil in the beginning. There are mobile menus and physical menus too. I can't wait to come back or order out again. Everything was so fresh.“
“Royal tangra masala is the best indo Chinese fusion place I have ever been to and to even go further than that it is THE best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. From the staff to the ambiance of the restaurant it is an amazing experience with wonderful kind hearted people. I have had the pleasure of seeing all of china town and their establishments and to this day I whole heartedly believe royal tangra masalas food blows them all out of the water.“
“Don't judge a book by its cover. That's what this restaurant is about it's a hole in a wall type of place, great to just carry out. Their chicken fried is amazing it so authentic the closest I would say to Hilton fried rice from Guyana iyky. We order their food on a weekly basis. Their maybe some local queens uncles by the bar, just let them be lol.“
“I hav only been there once but I think it's safe to say best Indian restaurant on Long Island. The food was phenomenal, the service was great, even the owner came around and had a nice convo with us. We are vegetarian so I can't speak on the meat dishes but everything we had was delicious. Best garlic naan I ever had, the dishes were bigger than I expected for the price, and none of it was greasy or spicy (we asked for mild). Thank you Bobby for a wonderful time in your beautiful restaurant.“
“I came across Tamarind Island's Insta page and it had me drooling so I knew I had to try it. Arriving on a Saturday afternoon, it was bustling and people were in and out. There are a few tables to eat at as well as a couple of seats by the window. I can't say I ever had Trinidadian food before, but the one thing I knew I had to get was the doubles with chickpeas, because that's what first pulled me in. It was fantastic. I'm not sure I ever had chickpeas so flavorful and yummy. The bread was light and pillowy. Also tried a roti with chicken curry. The roti itself was a large portion served along side a plate of chicken curry with some potato. Another wonderful delight. The chicken was tender and the flavors, just so good. I had to stop myself from ordering more, but I am looking forward to going back for more doubles and some other dishes to try.“
“Stopped by for lunch and was happily surprised. I ordered the curry goat roti and the double with everything in it. The server was delightful and helpful. She waited patiently while I made my decision and asked which type of roti I wanted and if I wanted to include sauce or not. The food lasted me for two days and it was finger licking good.“
“Incredible dinning experience. Authentic Indian cuisine. The flavors are exceptional!! I had the tofu mushroom jalfrezi. Loved the sweetness and wasn’t too spicy. Yum! Service is top notch asDietary restrictions: Vegetarian and veganWheelchair accessibility: Yes accessible“
“Our new favorite go-to for Indian. We have already been twice this week after finding it on Sunday. We have loved everything we have tried: Mulligatawny, Samosa Chat, Delhi ki Alu Chat, Alu Gobi, Chicken Tikka Masala & the desserts are out of this world!! We will be back soon and look forward to trying the rice pudding! Simi, our server (both times), couldn't have been more kind and accommodating. If you have a spice level preference just let them know and your meal will be prepared to your liking! Be a little patient this food is fresh and made to order, and well worth the little wait. Also grateful to have met such a kind and generous owner who really cares about your experience, even though the food absolutely speaks for itself. Yummmm“
“I had a party of 12. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. I think this place should be crowded every night. We had a variety of dishes from tandoori to vindaloo. Each dish was delicious. Do not hesitate to try Indian food and Diwan. It was great!“
“I DID NOT know this was in existence until today. I bought duck curry with white rice and Dahl, pepper pot, plait bread, pholourie, All were 10/10. They will be seeing me again lol. Delicious. The duck curry was as good as my mom's and that says a lot. The pepper sauce was amazing!“
