“At first glance, you would think this shop is just a wholesaler, but to my surprise you can actually buy boxes too!! They have a wide array/variety of sweets and all of them looked heavenyl. The gentleman whowas running the place is extremely professional and helpful. He allowed me to sample 4-5 pieces of the sweet itself. I ended up buying 4 small boxes and 2 big boxes. Toally affordable priced as well! My favorite was definitely the “Mango barfi” which is a milk based sweet. I finally have a place i can go to for all my sweet needs! Especially since it is Ramadan and sweets are necessary for every iftaar.“
“Great sweets. Everything was really fresh. We picked up some sweets for family and everyone loved how fresh it was. I want to go back and try other sweets and maybe some samosas and other menu items. They also let us try things too. Only issue we had was we went late and they ran out of some stuff but that’s expected late in the day I guess“
“We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Chaat Wala. The papri chaat and golgape were expertly prepared and delicious. Ingredients were fresh, presentation was excellent. We also had delicious chicken kebab and butter chicken. Our server Farhana was so kind, professional and attentive! We would love to keep in the know about your next endeavor!“
“Good food and very nice presentation. Atmosphere is better than any other Pakistani restaurant I’ve seen. Customer service is top notch. 4 stars only because it’s a bit over priced but I guess if you want clean Pakistani food at a clean place, this is the place to go.“
“One of the best Indian restaurants in/around Nassau. I have no time to go to Jackson Highets, but this place accommodates our craving for good Indian foods. Samosa Chaat here is a gem. I can eat this forever. I also love their butter chicken and garlic naan. Service is super good. A young Indian man is always behind the counter to serve. He is very friendly and kind.“
“Food was really amazing here. Their naans were really well cooked and Puffy. Goat and chicken Karahis were very delicious. Chicken Bahari was very sizzling and tasty. I highly recommend this place. It's family friendly and service here is awesome.“

“I was searching the area and found this restaurant as it was the nearest one. I would like to start by saying that the paid parking is readily available. I had read great reviews about their Chicken Karahi and I wanted to give it a shot. I entered the restaurant and was greeted by an awesome server. I started looking through the menu and it was time for prayer and the nice server who was Hindu provided me with praying mat. It was a great gesture. Right after I finish praying, I placed the order for Gol Gappay, Papri Chaat, Fish Pakora, Fries, Lahori Chicken Karahi, Beef Nihari, Butter Naan, Cheese Naan, Mango Lassi and Sweet Lassi. I must say that their Chicken Karahi and Beef Nihari is definitely the best and you should try it. Everything tasted delicious as well. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The ambiance of the restaurant has only positive vibes. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are around the area.“
“I’ve tried a lot of Indian restaurants but this is the best so far. The food is bursting with flavor and they give you a good amount. My favorite dishes so far are the chicken biryani, chicken tikka and garlic naan. The mango lassi is refreshing, cool and tasty. Even my 11 month old baby likes it. I can’t wait to try the other foods. The staff is kind as well.“
“They are a typical North Indian Punjabi food restaurant Their food is excellent and flavors are and authentic just like food cooked in state of Punjab in India . Tawa fish Goat Masala Chicken Karhai and Saag (Spinach) are very flavorfulPrices are fair and food is fresh I would recommend take out service They have about 7 to 8 tables for dine in . Owned by Indian Punjabi I have been going there for more than 12 yearsVegetarian options: There are about 15 vegetarian dishes All are from North India They have plenty of flavorful breads and rice“
“Order 10 seekh kebobs, anchari chicken keboob (6 pieces), chicken biryani, chicken curry with paratha and chicken samosa. Everything was good! The chicken curry was a bit oily, the biryani was the right amount of spicy for indian taste, the seekh kebob was moist and not dry, but the best was the anchari kebob... spicy! The entire order was $65. Parking is terrible in that area but well worth the trip. I will be going back.“
“A Gem in New York CityI recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic establishment, and I couldn't wait to share my experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set this restaurant apart. The staff, particularly the owner Ashraf, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their friendly and attentive service made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the food. The Aloo Paratha I ordered was an absolute delight. The flavors were authentic, and each bite was a burst of deliciousness. It's clear that the chef takes pride in their craft, and it certainly shows in the quality of the dishes. But the highlight of my visit was the Sunday buffet. It's hard to believe that you can find such a delectable spread at this price point in New York City. The Paya was a standout, flavorful and tender, a true testament to the culinary expertise in the kitchen.Overall, my visit to this restaurant was a delightful experience. From the friendly staff to the mouthwatering food, it's a place that deserves recognition. If you're looking for authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. It's a hidden gem in the heart of New York City that you won't want to miss.Parking: "Restaurant Paradise: More Than 20 Car Parking for Your Convenience!"“
