“Second time to Bunny and was not disappointed. The food was even better than I remembered. A standout for me was the Garlicky Labne w/ Ras-El-Hanout carrots and chili butter. Was served with homemade, fresh out of the oven bread in a paper bag. Done right.I will say that it was a bit disappointing to only have water to drink (no non-alcoholic beverages.) Feel like I missed out on a part of the experience drinking just water.Overall, a delicious spot for a satisfying meal. Cash or Venmo only.“
“Amazing, Delicious cannot wait to go back. This has to be the best food I’ve had in 2024 hands down. The Glolash 10 out of 10. The apple strudel a must have. The homemade pretzels come out hot with a crispy out side and a soft inside. The staff were helpful and friendly. The ambience makes you feel like your in Germany. The waitress helped me order my. Most of the names for the dishes are in German with English descriptions. I order the 3 different types of German sausages with sauerkraut. I have never been a fan of sauerkraut but I can eat that all day. We finish our meal with warm apple strudel with ice cream. I can eat that every day“
“Went there on a chilly rainy dull weekday night and oh boy did the place lift up my mood! ? A large beer selection (plus ciders and wines) at a great price and hearty German food. My husband and I had a big appetite and ordered a giant pretzel with cheese, 3 different bratwursts with sauerkraut, purple cabbage and a side of potato salad. By the end of our sumptuous meal we were so full that we almost had to be rolled out. All staff were very kind and professional and gave us excellent recommendations. I would go back just for their hofbrau original and classic brat (and well, yes their potato salad too).“
“Gottscheer Hall is a fixture of Ridgewood and has been for decades. It does an excellent job at bridging the gap between the old neighborhood and the infusion of the new crowd in a way in which everyone feels welcome. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and their selection of German beer pretty much guarantees something for everyone. The bartenders are also the best in the area, friendly, personable and great to chat with while sipping on a cold one. I've made many memories and friends in that place from all walks of life. I recommend it to everyone. Easy 5 stars. Check it out!“
“Can accommodate groups of All sizes … Grill master is off the chain … Cheeseburger on a pretzel bun are so so delicious … staff is joyful and friendly while the beer selection is one of a kind. Then to all the Players … the music room is wood-based with a vented ceiling both allowing super warmness and absorption for you band’s lower-registered folk and volume-headroom for your scream & shout folk and everything else … what’s not to love … Rock on Radegast !!!!!“
“I love potato pancakes and was expecting a pancake size order. They were smaller appetizer sizes. I went just for the pancakes and ended up with a fish sandwich in a German Restaurant. It was good, but I felt my choices were either sandwiches or large meals at 2pm.. I'll go back to try something else..Wheelchair accessibility: I'll disabled and didn't need a wheelchair but it's Street level. Parking is on the street as well.“
“It’s a great place for big groups and everything is delicious. Best German beer and experience. Service is great and friendly. I definitely recommend and will come back. Shoutout to our server Yuli who was very professional, kind and made us have a great evening.“
“Besides their wonderful restaurant, they have the German specialty store! Both bring a little bit of Germany to Queens. The butcher shop is spectacular and immaculate. There are so many choices! Whether you're stopping in because you came for dinner next door, or you are looking for some authentic German goodies. You won't go wrong.“
“My friend says he's been here like 4x in the last year and I can see why. The pork shank is a work of art. With its crispy skin, juicy, meaty, and fatty interior, it checks all the boxes. It was a really awesome dish to share with others. The sausages that accompanied were quite tasty dipped in their house mustards. I also greatly enjoyed their cabbage and kraut. We also ordered the Jager schnitzel with perfectly cooked spatzle on the side. I'm not the biggest fan of cream sauces but the schnitzel was tasty and the saptzle well seasoned. Cozy restaurant with solid service and a great place to share meat with friends!“
“Went for Valentine's Day. Service was very great. Risotto was amazing! Great quiet spot with good spacing and room where people don't feel on top of you.Specialty drinks could have been better. Ordered my usual dark and stormy and .y date had the same and it was way better. So get your usual.“
“Ordered crispy delicious potato pancakes and a tasty sausage platter. Bartender suggested a great beer I'd never heard of and it hit the spot. Conveniently located next to the movie theater.I'm getting hungry again just thinking about those potato pancakes.“
“My friend and I decided to go here after my friend's cable blacked out during the Seahawks Packers opening kickoff game. The game was on and we grabbed a few beers. The bartender was really cool and the beer was cold. Topped off with 2 Jameson shots before leaving. A very quiet place but reasonably priced drinks and a bunch of tv's.“
“i love this place! i live around the corner and often pop in for a quick drink or for food. the food is delicious (hello fries??) and the staff is friendly, they handle the double duty of bartending and serving attentively and kindly. can get busy on the weekends but always great vibes. great local spot!!“
“At this lovely Austrian restaurant, I savored the classic Wiener Schnitzel paired with a side of flavorful potatoes and refreshing cucumber salad. The crispy, tender veal cutlet was a standout dish, perfectly complemented by the light and tangy salad. Additionally, the Viennese Beef Goulash served with fresh herbed Spatzle was a comforting delight, with the tender beef and rich, savory sauce creating a satisfying meal. The cozy atmosphere and old-world charm of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making it a delightful culinary journey through Austrian traditions. It was beautiful lunch and I highly recommend to everyone ?“
“Great place to while away a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. We took our three kids and they were very welcome (might be a different vibe on a Saturday). Good food and fabulous beer.Vegetarian options: A veggie sausage!Kid-friendliness: Our kids sat and played a quiet game of cards with us and there were other families with kids there too.“
“Never been to German restaurant but really liked this place. I tried the cod fish sandwich and lemonade and really enjoyed it. My family members ordered the beer and wouldn't stop drinking it. They liked the chicken and waffles- they said the waffles were soft and meat was juicy. Hardly like chocolate but decided to try it since they were out of the apple strudel. It was creamy and not as sweet as other cakes. Definitely enjoyed the lovely dessert. Will come back again!“
“Our go-to spot whenever we are in this part of Brooklyn. Their currywurst on a pretzel bun is a must. They have great outdoor seating when the weather is nice and their beer list is the best. Love coming here on a date or with friends. Great spot!“
“The Classic: Great bratwurst with plenty of sauerkraut. The bratwurst was flavorful and juicy. Overall a delicious way to satisfy my cravings. You order at the window outside, but there are standing tables available indoors. You may have to ask for them to unlock the door, though. There are also standing tables outside.“
“A must visit! This is my second time here. This place offers a great selection of traditional German beers in the “boots” or stein! The food here is very good. It’s also very traditional German food but they also offer some American options such as salmon and burgers. The ambience is comfortable and service is very great. Friendly staff!“
