“There’s not a whole lot that’s wrong with Farook’s tbh. I’ll pick him over Halal Guys or Adele any day of the week, given the price and wait time. However, I’m personally a fan of Santa Halal which is the cart next to Farook’s.But, that’s a personal preference. Farook is pretty great too.“

“Gentleman was very nice and had a smile. I ordered the chicken lamb combo with white sauce. Comes with a salad, delicious rice, a can of soda or water and a pita. All for $8 Everything was delicious. Hit the spot and I'm so glad I found a halal truck closer to me that actually tastes good.“

“My go to place; been going to this cart for years (since 2018) and Afghan Boys has always maintained high quality throughout. All of their offerings are super flavorful with great portions, you can’t go wrong with any of them! This cart is definitely worth the detour, and it’s close to a Q47 bus stop (connects to Roosevelt Ave station). Owners are absolutely amazing and hard working“

“I am a chicken girl and can completely without reservation recommend any and all chicken dishes and sandwiches on the menu. I have had them all over and over. Also the French fries and green salad. They are my go to usually twice a week.Believe the listed menu needs to be updated price wise but still the best deals in town. A HuGE plus you have the Richard Tucker (google him) Park right across the street for seating. Linda“

“I'm usually a little skeptical of street cart food but reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I got tofu pad see ew and it was super flavorful and the perfect portion at only $11. I was there around 230pm and there was no line so the food came out super quick. Since this is walking distance from my job I will definitely be back soon!“

“Jianbings at gentrified prices have been popping up in NYC as early as 2015 but Eight Jane Food is the real deal and keeps it at an affordable price ($5). I've noticed that along with White Bear, Eight Jane Foods is one of the most popular choices for cheap Flushing eats on TikTok. There is always a line, and they do speak English so do not be afraid of a language barrier. Everyone comes for a freshly made jianbing, which is PIPING hot off the griddle so beware. On my most recent visit, I also picked up a sesame flatbread ($1.25) but I found it a little too heavy for my preference. It is well made though, and features layers and layers of thin laminated dough with a nutty sesame filling in between. The jianbings have such a wonderful texture, with the soft egg and crepe contrasting with the crunchy wonton crackers in the middle. I like to order it with all the fixings, as the chili oil paste is not very spicy. The scallions and cilantro bring an element of freshness to the jianbings but I would absolutely love some pork floss for some added sweetness too. I would also recommend eating this on the same day, if not fresh outside the storefront, as the crepe will eventually soften and lose a lot of its texture over time. It's incredibly filling and I love sharing this with someone because there are always tons of other small bites to discover in Flushing.“

“We only ordered a coffee but, since they made us wait (only a minute), they surprised us by giving us a waffle. Really very good. A mention should especially be made of the place, Bryant park is well looked after and very relaxing. I recommend sitting at a table near the lawn enjoying a good waffle.“

“Best street food in NYC, and a ridiculous bargain to boot. 2 Chicken Kati rolls, extra spicy, for less than $10? GET IN MY BELLY. If you’re around Times Square (and if you are, my sympathies) treat yourself.“

“The best food :)I say this not because Mohammed shared half of his falafel dinner with me, but because he cooked it with love and shared it - the essence of what it means to have food together.I had chicken over rice, the chicken was cooked to perfection, rice was tasty as it could be and the presentation was spot on!I will visit again, but also encourage you to eat here you’ll eat not just through your mouth but with Mohammed’s kindness, your heart as well :)“

“Closest thing I found to eating quesadilla off the final in DMC. I haven't found a filling I don't like. They are light, fresh and simply delicious. The perfect balance of Ingredients at a fair price. I line that they are so small so I can eat one or two for a snack.“

“Been eating here since 2010, food has stayed consistent through the years. The cooks always have a genuine attitude and respect for the food. I am often getting lamb over rice with red/white sauce, but the chicken and Falafel are always tasty as well. For an extra dollar they will toast a pita with white sauce for me with my plate, just epic!“

“Wheel cake is a delightful treat that is popular in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. It features a round and crispy outer shell made from batter. The cake is filled with a wide range of flavors, ranging from sweet options like custard, butter taro, and red bean, to savory choices such as tuna corn salad and sautéed cabbage. We will make wheel cakes and invite people to taste. Attendes can also have a try.“
“I've been going here since I was in middle school. They never fail me! So good! So Flavorfull and consistent no matter the cook there. Service is good. No complaints there. I always get the chicken and lamb over rice with white sauce or a gyro.“

“This place was insane when we walked by so we had to try it out. Not only was there a huge in person line but also there was an impromptu drive through where people were slowly edging towards the stand on their carts. They don't have a menu so I wasn't sure what to get, but the woman at the front was incredibly nice and shared with us what the desserts were. - Habichuelas Con Dulce - I have never had either of these desserts before, so I was very excited to try. I didn't expect the desserts to be hot. I think the soup by itself was okay, I was a bit surprised by the cinnamon (?) flavor but with the plantains it was really a winner as there were so many texture in the dish. - Majarete - This might sound a little rude, but this dessert kind of reminded me of the sweet version of a Chinese's corn soup. It didn't really have a pudding like texture, more of a soupy one and also the corn flavor was very intense. I did not expect to feel like you were eating just straight corn which I liked and appreciate. If you're looking for some great street food in the area, definitely recommend giving this food stall a try!“

“Known as "Party BBQ" in English: Located on Broadway, between 45th Ave & Whitney Ave., in Elmhurst (in front of the Asian Supermarket which has its own parking lot). This BBQ lot has been here for years and has quite a large following. There's always a line of ppl patiently waiting for their BBQ goodness! On this Tuesday evening at around 7:30pm, it was no exception; there were about 8 ppl on line. But don't let that deter you from ordering your BBQ Skewers! The line moves surprisingly quickly. This is a one man show and he was hustling! Kudos to the hardworking gentleman making our BBQ Kebabs, and don't forget to tip him!On this visit, we tried their Beef and Lamb Kebabs ($1.75 each). We asked for the kebabs with cumin and extra spicy. These were so flavorful and delicious! My only complaint is that some pieces were very fatty but very good nonetheless.I will definitely be looking for this cart the next time I'm in the area. Looking forward to trying their other skewers! (See my photos for their menu offerings).“

“Love it! I had Lengua, El Pastor, spicy pork, they all tasted great and authentic street tacos! I didn’t care about the service, the lady was kinda delayed serving we even without people waiting. Anyway I was there for the taste and that ain’t changing my desire eating there.“

“For $6-7 range at this food truck. The combination plate came with chicken and lamb gyro, rice, salad and a tangy white sauce and spicy red harissa sauce. The flavor was incredible! It was very filling and a total bargain for how much food you get. Service was quick and friendly. Best of all for me who loves spicy food is that their hot sauce is actually very hot! They give a ton of food for the money you pay and it's cooked very quickly.“

“Combo over rice is now $9. If its past midnight, honestly its the only place open. the red sauce is really spicy for me when i got it the first time so now my go-to is bbq sauce & white sauce. It usually takes like 5-10 mins for me since it does get busy sometimes.“
