“After having enjoyed Bersi's eye-poppingly large platters that feed 3-4 people for $20-60 in total, not even Ras's lunch special ($18 bowls) seemed like a good deal. I did prefer the collard greens at Ras over Bersi's though. (Too bad I didn't try the injera at Ras for a comparison.) All that said, I did enjoy the Bole Bowl: the crunchy soy crumbles were a fun textural element, and the avocado injected creaminess into the mix. “Fun food joint with awesome portion sizes - which I feel are fair for the price. We got the poutine, sausage egg biscuit, and the honey chicken biscuit sandwich. They were all good. If I come again I’d like to come with more friends because this is definitely the kind of place with lots of options to choose from and the portions are so big it’s hard to try much among two people. Service could have even a little better - between 10 & 15 minutes before we ordered but they were nice and helpful when we asked for things. I can see why this place is popular. It’s a fun environment and they were able to get us in fast (party of 2 around 2:30pm).“

Tons of duck. In almost a stew of small potatoes perfectly softened. In some type of gravy. Wow. Even the greens are great. Nice light dressing. Almost salty. Service was friendly and attentive. “Scottadito is a cozy restaurant with seating in the front and back of the restaurant. If you want a more intimate setting, opt for the front. If you're okay with a bigger room and dont mind some louder background conversation the back is a lovely choice to sit as well. My fiance and I started off complimentary bread and dipping sauce. We followed that up with the katerina salad which comes with a tart dressing and generous amount of cheese. My personal favorite of the night was the tagliatelle with speck and brie... absolutely cheesy, creamy, heaven. The saltiness from the speck balanced out the creaminess from the pasta sauce. The noodles were thin and almost reminded me of egg noodles. Definitely a one of a kind tagliatelle. My fiance ordered the penne with spicy vodka sauce and spicy sausage. The sausage was broken up into nice chunks and definitely came with a kick. The portions were generous and we left the restaurant stuffed. Scottadito also offers small backyard seating, which I can see it opening up to perhaps a micro wedding for the fall/summer. Will definitely be back for more pasta and to try more dishes. Yum!“

While we had a blast, we misunderstood the bottomless brunch deal: on top of paying for an entree, you can get bottomless drinks for 90 minutes for 30 something dollars, which when you look at it you better be drinking A LOT for it to make financial sense, so be warned.“
“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“

We started out with the Scallion Pancake and Vegetable Dumplings. I don't eat Scallion Pancakes very often because most places don't make it very well. Joe's Pancake was perfection! Cooked just right with layers of flavors. The Dumplings were light and fresh. For our main course we had Chicken with Broccoli and Sauteed Crystal Shrimp. Both were delicious and very generous portions. It was the first time I had had the Crystal Shrimp and I couldn't stop eating them. The Staff was very nice and we felt very well attended to but not overly so. We are really looking forward to returning so we can try some dishes that we have never had before.“

Il Corso fit the bill perfectly - wonderful food; cozy, elegant environment; and excellent service. We were especially impressed by the creative seafood specials that were available the evening we were there. Prices were surprisingly affordable for NYC, as well - the bill for our dinner of shared app, 2 entrees, shared dessert, 2 espressos, and 2 glasses of wine was only around $160, without tip. And on the BLP website delivery is free BUT you are still hit with a $3.50 "service fee", which is the restaurant's for using a delivery service. But on Grubhub+ the same service fee applies AND prices food is higher! So even with free delivery it will be higher. I ended up paying over $40 for food for 1. Service is great, music is great, even if loud. I hope they create a better price point for the neighborhood they serve and make the sides as good as the main stuff!“
