This is notable because the other groups in here all seemed to be teachers ( we love an after work/pre break hang out).The location is cute and upscale with its lush blue velvet seating and little interesting items behind the bar.We ordered fries that looked like they had some type of seasoning on them but were just plain fries. Friend 1 ordered the chicken sandwich and fries. She enjoyed it. It was served with yummy sauces on the side.Friend 2 ordered the chicken quesadilla. Also enjoyed it. Was a good portion.I had the focaccia grilled cheese with vodka sauce. It was tasty. The 3 pieces didn’t look like much but it was actually filling. It was some type of special/secret menu item. Everyone was warm, not snobby, and went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday brunch enjoyable for my family. The food focuses on spotlighting the local ingredients and isn't overly fancy. My favorites were the hot fried chicken sandwich, the deconstructed eggplant parm appetizer, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce off of the kids menu (could have used a touch of salt but I think they underseasoned on purpose because it's for kids). The only dish that was pretty underwhelming was the shrimp and grits, which was kind of bland. The decor is also so tasteful and I felt transported to a fancy farmhouse somewhere on the coast of Rhode Island or something. I'll definitely be back!“

I just put my headphones to be able to concentrate more. Not a rowdy place at all, as I mentioned super chill. Staff doesn’t bother you and you can stay as long as you want. I'm a chef and from the old school of real Jamaican cuisine. That being said, the food here has flavor, some dishes are way better than others. The thing I don't like, is the outrageous prices for such small plates. I get it, people gotta make money but when you give your customers a little more, they come back often. Also, the waitress is nice but need training on timing. Bring utensils first and if its a couple, bring both meals together, not bring one plate then 10 minutes later you bring the other.. I like the mature Reggae music played while eating on Friday evening. Oh a live band at 10pm but different genre of music so could be socca , reggae or whatever . I prefer the reggae band. Now after the band finished, the DJ ticked me off. I hate when him cut upp the music after 5 seconds. People were upset about that. Dj could be ok but have no clue how to watch the floor. If see mature people, run the music n stop the cutting up and play the song Dem. Chu man. Me vex and leff. Hellooooooo. adults spend money suh if music nice people wi spend cause Dem dance and sweat. “The place opens at 1:00 pm every day. We went on a Wednesday for lunch. We did all you can eat (AYCE). I calculated the cost of what we wanted to try and the AYCE. It was cheaper to go with AYCE. It was $25 per person which I found reasonable. They offered fried items and boiled items. We had the fried oysters, shrimp, calamari, soft shell crab, crab ball, flounder, and onion rings. The seafood was on the small side but it was off season so I expected it. The crab ball was dry. The oysters were slightly salty but not too bad. Overall it was good. It was cooked just right and it was crispy. It came out nice and hot and quickly. The wait staff was attentive but not annoying. The decor was cute. I got the truffle pesto burrata ravioli, a few of my friends got the spicy rigatoni, and my other friend got the burrata raviolis with vodka sauce. We also got drinks, apps, and dessert which were so good. All of us were in love with our dishes and already decided that we need to go back for someone's birthday or just for fun. Vibes were 10/10.“
