“I absolutely love this restaurant! Homemade pasta and bread and the Fruita di mare Fra diavolo is exceptional! The desserts are house made also. We had the tiramisu, a favorite of ours, and theirs is exceptional. We eat here every time we visit the area. You won't be disappointed!”

“An exceptionally delicious meal (featuring delicious local ingredients) accompanied with warm, welcoming, and thoughtful service. We will go out of our way to eat here again!”

“Do not judge this place based on solely on what angry orchard releases commercially. This is where they work on their upscale and experimental ciders. As such you will find something for every palette here: sweet, dry, barrel aged, rose,… you name it, they’ve tried it.

I am especially fond of their wooden sleeper series and look forward to the release events for each of the annual verities (wassail especially).

It’s difficult to recommend food as the offerings are always changing, but you can count on getting something to eat weather from their kitchen or a visiting food truck or a local pop-up.

They often have fun events and live music. Make sure to check their website before visiting to see if there is an event going that you’d like to participate in. I’ve see new release events, cider float events, ugly sweater party’s, apple blossom festivals, Kentucky derby viewing events, themed trivia events, board game nights, and so much more.”

“This place is the real deal. Fresh and frozen pierogies that are truly unreal. Highly recommend and get there early as they sell out quick and there is only a limited amount.”

“We visit this restaurant often, it is the absolute best vegan restaurant ever.?Every soup I’ve tried was delicious. The sweet potato biscuits are amazing. The desserts are fabulous. If 10 is the highest rating I can give, I give them an 11. I wish we had this gem in NEPA. We will always be back for more of this place. “100% recommend novellas! We just recently celebrated our wedding there and we had the best. Time. They made the entire wedding process so easy for us, with menu items, decor, timelines, everything. You name it, they did it! Bryce, Chloe, and their entire team were so helpful and kind. So willing to step up to plate, and the food was DELICIOUS. Super affordable and convenient as well, and they answered any and every question they had. Our special day was made even better thanks to the wonderful work of their staff and the beautiful scenery of their venue. My guests and family were overjoyed and welcomed happily by all of them, and I’m incredibly grateful! “This weekend was my first time visiting New Paltz and my girlfriend and I stopped by this place as soon as we saw pickles (I love pickled food) I bought a pineapple habanero hot sauce and a jar of their dill pickles with garlic. The hot sauce was absolutely fantastic, very spicy just as the owner warned me, but delicious and the pickles were so acidic and tart yet sweet and savory. They have lots of things like pickled jalapenos, different home made juices and mixes and a lot of sandwiches, Frank's is a must stop for anyone who likes pickled foods with good sandwiches with great sauces.”

“Visited Garvan’s today for the first time for a late lunch in the Pub. We started with Mexican Street Carrots. So delicious! My husband had the traditional Irish breakfast and I had the lamb stew. Both meals were excellent. Wish we could have had dessert, but we were so stuffed. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We’re looking forward to visiting again.”

“We stopped by in the evening after a soccer game at New Paltz. We were tired, cold and hungry. Lola's had a warm, welcoming friendly atmosphere. We ordered two salads, and a panini and a few drinks. We all enjoyed our meals and I think the Asian chicken salad was honestly the best salad I've ever had. So fresh and the chicken was tender and delicious in a peanut sauce. We hope to return and try some other dishes from the amazing menu! So glad we stopped in!”
