“This cafe is incredible! The ambiance is so relaxed, clean and open. The drinks are very interested, delicious and well crafted. If you go, you have to try the pistachio croissant. This is hands down the best croissant I've ever had in my life. It's got the perfect texture, perfectly balanced flavor of pistachios, butter and almond. I cannot recommend this place enough. Also check out their merch section, they've got some super cool things from local vendors!“
“Very cozy coffee shop, aesthetic looking, good quality stuff. Got a cappuccino and iced matcha with avocado pesto toast, they were good. The aroma of the coffee brewing and water food they cook is really good.It can be kinda pricy tho’, keep that in mind but I think it’s worth it once in a while.“
“Simply addicting coffee! Their coffee is so tasty no matter the flavor! I’ve so far tried 5 out of the hundreds of flavors they provide and never been disappointed! The shop is also cute and cozy and the employees seem to go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. Highly recommended place!“
“Any one of the coffee/espresso options are excellent. I love their blueberry scones, but they are usually sold-out. Why can't they just plan for it and make more! I've gone to a few of their other locations, and the same, sold-out. Good selection of Cookies, but very sweet. Meals are excellent but somewhat pricey.“
“Depends on what you’re looking for but could suit many needs. My partner really liked the place when he first went, except for the WiFi service that he said was very spotty. He took me the 2nd time he went so I can gauge for myself what I thought of it, since I love to get outdoors and try different coffee shops in the area to work. I just found it very hard to work from here as it’s very noisy. Very hard to take a call here, much less and important one, but a great vibe for those just looking to socialize, catch up with a friend, get a coffee or something small to eat. If you’re coming to work, just be mindful that it can get loud with music and people talking around you, so be prepared to have your headphones to block it out if getting in some deep work. Prices can also be quite pricey, especially if eating something small. For 2 pastries, a latte, and an iced coffee, bill was $30, which coming from NYC, I was astonished to see in LI. It does have a lot of seating and outlets to plug into if needed. My partner even noticed someone having an in-person interview while there in suits and all, so hey I guess it can work for that too. All depends on what you’re looking for! Have a go at it.“
“The staff and service here is impeccable. John, Julia, Gillian, Marcus, Harley, Spencer are all great people. Don't trust the rest of these reviews as what do you expect your "barista" to be? A 45 year old rocket scientist? Of course it's a job for young people. We live in an age where people need to be heard and in this snooty town, everyone has to find something petty to complain about. I've been going to this place for 20 years and they're a community coffee shop with great coffee and great young people working there. Always have been and I could name them. Are they going to make mistakes? Sure, like everyone else. And they'll fix it like they always have. There's about 100 of the same loyal customers there every morning from 6-9 AM so what does that tell you?Reviewers should stop being so critical if there was a mistake somewhere. Let us judge reviewers lives as they judge hard working young people. Give the place a shot, they can make anything the green machine can make, as Julia just did for me for my girlfriend's favorite green machine drink. The coffee is also as fresh as can be. Roasted on the spot and they also support local artists and businesses so what's not to like?Give Sunshine a try and I promise you won't be disappointed. If you like your coffee a certain way, let them know and you'll be taken care of.“
“First time in the Nespresso store and the Roosevelt Field location and they were incredibly helpful. Brittany, Maurizio, and Emmee, of were very informative and spent a lot of time with me and the others in the store. I would recommend visiting this store and plan to return for future Nespresso needs.“
“What a pleasant surprise. The bldg that house Southdown is easy to spot but I wasn't expecting it to house a coffee shop. Parked right across from it and walked in to a comforting atmosphere. Wood floors, spacious and airy. Fireplace to your right and tables scattered in 3 different rooms and there is outdoor seating too. Plants and paintings dotted the place makes it homey.I was greeted right away and the gentleman graciously gave me time to study the menu. I ordered chai latte with oatmilk and an egg sandwich with prosciutto and avacado. The chai came out pipping hot and full of flavor (tasting ginger and cardamom) the sandwich was freshly pressed and not salty at all. Definitely like to be back to try any items.Loving the vibe and great to hangout with friends.“
