“This bar was originally under a different name then it closed and recently reopened with a new name. Inside it looks like absolutely nothing was changed. Same large bar area filled with TVs showing sports, pool tables, and a few high tops scattered around. They had a decent crowd on a Saturday night and you could tell it was mostly regulars.The bartenders are super nice and always remember what you're drinking. This is not the place to go if you want fancy craft beer or the best cocktail of your life. It's very much a dive with a friendly group of people and more of a local watering hole. Not a bad spot to kick back, watch the game, and enjoy a cold one.“
“The new ownership is just what this Mineola institution needed to refresh its brand. The staff is friendly/laissez-faire in that typical "Long Island" way (if you live here, you get it). The bar side can be a bit cramped on busy nights but the restaurant side is very spacious. The copious number of TVs make it ideal for Sunday football and they do occasionally rent the space for private events. The menu has been updated and upgraded but still retains that bar food charm. The wings are of the well-done variety, if you like that and are plenty spicy (although, your taste may vary). I enjoyed the addition of hot pepper flakes on their hottest wings. The baked clams, giant pretzel and quesadillas are perfect apps while the full menu is surprisingly extensive with meatloaf, pot and Sheppard's pie, and a triple meat blend burger that knocks it out of the park. Prior to my last visit, it had been years since visiting Cornerstone and I'm glad I found my way back to this solid neighborhood pub.“
“What a fun place with a great crowd!Whiskey Reds is definitely more of a neighborhood hangout spot but they keep out the bad crowd, retain the good crowd, and there are a lot of laughs in-between! The bar is bigger than it looks and expands to the back with a pool table. The bar area itself is the place to be with a great crowd and TVs showing sports. All sorts of drinks and beers are offered here with something for everybody. The bartenders (especially Charlie and Jen) are incredible. They offer a small food menu if you need something to go with your drinks. There is also a jukebox full of different types of music if you want to request a song or two.“

Our meal started with delicious beef pastries as an appetizer. For the main course, my friend enjoyed the pasta a la vodka, while I opted for the grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables. We paired our meals with a glass of Portuguese red and white wine.The attentive service by Mauricio, our waiter, truly stood out. When I praised the white wine without knowing its name, Mauricio went the extra mile, bringing an empty bottle for us to photograph. He also thoughtfully changed the TV channel from loud soccer to horse riding, enhancing our dining experience. But I must say one thing, I had a glass of water and it truly was delicious. That speaks volumes to me. So many places don't put any effort into their disgusting water And it really offends me. This water obviously is filtered and looked after and I just want them to know it that I noticed and it's appreciated.“

“I was a long time patron at the bar when it was ringside bar. I would stop in from time to time for a quick drink after work because it was a block from my job at the time. It was dark, with disco balls and a ridiculous light show...i hadnt been there in about a year until last month when they changed managment and the name to Broadway 247. The remodel is amazing, the new owners brought that place back to life, and pulled the plug on that underground goth disco vibe it previously had. Bartenders were friendly, good drink specials. Ive met 3 of the owners thus far and they couldnt have been more professional or accommodating. I no longer work a few blocks away but have gone out of my way several times to stop in for a drink!“

“The first time coming here was yesterday. At first, I was torn of ordering for the main course either the New England lobster roll or the sirloin steak sandwich because I read the New England lobster roll description on the online menu in advance that it contains mayo which I don't like. I was unsure if I could get one with just garlic or butter and celery so I made up my mind to order the steak sandwich because it was composed of cheese and fried onions which I like. I enjoyed my meal with a table of three; my brother and an acquaintance I get along with who I haven't seen in almost 2 years. I think what our server could have done better was check up on us more to make sure we had the right entrees. I ordered the sirloin steak sandwich with fries and my brother ordered a steak. The server made the minor mistake of giving me my brothers dinner and my brother my entree where he and I had to switch platters. It wasn't too crowded when we were dining. I would have to come here again not only to give the servers a second chance to be more accommodating and come around every 10 minutes, but there was a football game on at the bar area and it was somewhat loud. Unfortunately, in a scenario like that is beyond the staff's control when something exciting or disappointing happens when a sport is played with fans booing or cheering loudly. It was just very awkward to dine in peace with the noise of the fans a few times.“

“unfortunately our experience started off to a bad start when we got a server that didn't like his job and from the start give us an attitude. We decide to take advantage of there 2x1 happy hour special on drinks and there food as we order we felt his bad attitude get progressively worse. when the drinks finally came (40 min later) the drift beer was not as cold as it should be and never got the appetizer before our food everything just came at once. we decide to order more drinks and was told that there an 1 hour wait time before you can order again lol we just kinda laughed at his comment and decide to speak to the manager as it doesn't say anything ON the menu or the website. The AGM confirmed that rule was not on there policy and said he will speak to him, we asked to change server as we didnt want our experience to be affected by a person that doesn't need to be working there and should find a job that doesn't involve serving people. There were sports tvs of all natures on many screens around the place. We came in the bar entrance and the smell was of a bar. The place was clean, including the bathrooms. The food was good for bar oriented food. I had the prime rib sandwich with juice. It was not that good. The Horseradish sauce did not have horseradish and the meat was not prime rib but sliced meat off a loaf. With the juice it was ok. The Hamburgers on the other were top notch. I really liked the calamari and the french fries were really good as well. Most people would not have been so picky about the french dip. I was expecting more. All the sandwiches were around $18, 3 of us paid $95 including tip. The servers were friendly and good. If we came during a busy time this would have been a whole different experience.
