We chose the space for many reasons- the beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river, the delicious food, not to mention lodging right on premises. Our wedding day was better than we could have imagined, and would not have been possible without the help of Taylor and her staff. From the bartenders, to the serving staff, to the beautifully decorated venue space we were so pleased with our experience. It was the perfect day! Thanks to all who helped make it happen! “Firstly, I'm local to this gem and had never had a chance to stop in. It's you don't pay attention to the sign you'll miss it while driving by. The inside is cozy and warm. There's a section upstairs with a bridge to cross over the downstairs area where we sat that was very private. It felt very comfortable and out of the way! We were a party of 11 on a busy Friday night. The waitress Michelle was PHENOMENAL. She was fast, timely and very pleasant to deal with. She worked very well under pressure and was so considerate of the amount of people we had. Friendly at all times. Was at our table several times and on top of making sure we had full drinks and our needs were met. The food was amazing. Every single thing was flavorful, cooked the way we had asked and came out hot and fast. The portions were great and the price isn't very bad. I would highly recommend trying this if you want just a drink at the bar or to take the family out for dinner.“

Food even better but they were both great. $30 got me calamari, linguini and desert. Hubby got the pasta fagioli (a quart) and beef braciole. Delicious. Not our first visit never our last. Have left overs for 3 more people. Please keep them in business.“

“Not only does Grano have amazing food, but their customer service is also fantastic! I went there recently before a show at Proctors, and unfortunately the kitchen was a little behind, and we did not have enough time to eat. When leaving Proctors, our server was waiting outside the theater to give us our food to take home. They really went above and beyond. I will definitely be going back soon!“

“My husband and I have been going to Wolf Hollow since the beginning, when they started in a Grange Hall. It's amazing the expansion they have made. Wolf Hollow has always had solidly good beers. I have probably tried every single one they've made. My favorite mainstay they have is Nun the Wiser. It's just a solid light lager. My favorite beer is their El Lobo Loco (which is a summer beer). My husband favorite seasonal is their Oktoberfest. This trip we had the Blackberry Pie and my husband got the Katie's Irish red. The blackberry pie is a mild sour. They do have a few non-beer items including some ciders and some local wines. They also have some non-alcoholic beers available to purchase. Wolf Hollow has a wonderful atmosphere. They are family and dog friendly (outside only for dogs). They have a nice cozy tap room. Outside they have a pavilion, picnic areas, and a great patio. There are also sandboxes for kids. During the winter you can sit next to a fire pit and even snowshoe on the property. For food they do rotating food trucks. Some of their regular food trucks include Two for the Road and Burger 21. All of the staff is very friendly, and very knowledgeable on beer.“

There was only one item I didn't care for and that was completely a matter of personal preference. EVERYTHING else was really satisfying and well-executed and worth the experience. Proteins were well cooked and the seasoning was great. I prefer a crustier bread but I sooooo appreciated being asked if we wanted bread so it wouldn't sit and go to waste if our table wasn't interested. That kind of clarity and thoughtful communication from a server is awesome. You could tell it was a busy night for her and yet it didn't show on her face, in her demeanor or affect the service of our or surrounding tables. Graciousness from start to finish. She was even trying to minimize her movements that might obscure the sightline of tables to the band...wow! That's serious awareness and consideration of others and just wow service, top notch!Over an hour to get to from our home base but I'd go again with or without a band I know playing. “Kid-friendliness: My 7yo daughter is picky about her pizza and can never finish a slice. She loved one here and ate it all. Customers were friendly and helped get utensils for her. Staff had everything prepared except cheese slice that just came out of the oven when we arrived. They are on top of their game. Good place.“

“Wow! I traveled for a living and I am a food snobb like no other, and Italian food is my thing. THIS is what I look for when I want REAL Italian and what a treat to find such a gem in such a small town. I had the Filet Marsala and it was the most tender steak I have ever had. Now...for the bar!! Crysta served up a Limoncello Mule that was everything I was hoping it would be. I hate that I am only here for a night because their menu had so much more I would've like to have tried. In any case...this is the spot to go to if you had any other doubts about tonight's dinner. “I used to think that DeMarco's caesar salad was the best salad ever - until I had the Greek and tortellini salad. I get it with no chicken and extra feta. Other standouts are the eggplant parm, the tuna (how do they make it taste so good?) and the blue cheese dressing. We order at least once a week and I've never had a complaint.“
