“While the food was decent enough, and edible, it just wasn't "pleasing". I ordered an Omelette, expecting what I am used to. Instead, it was as if the cook tried to wrap up all the ingredients, into a tight square instead. Not to mention that what I ordered, was all packed very tightly onto 1 small plate, giving me no room really, to cut into my food. The person I was with, ordered Eggs Benedict. One of the portions was a mess, with the egg being on the plate itself, and the meat being on the other side of the plate. She also mentioned that the "sauce" used, wasn't all that tasty, and not like anything she had had before. The atmosphere was fine, just as you would expect from a Diner in a smaller area. The service was fantastic tho, the waitress was very friendly and right on top of everything. Prices were reasonable for the area as well.“

Prices are perfect.Kid-friendliness: Most the food is finger food on the outside menu as the inside.Parking: Plenty of room in his lot and if not there's more room across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no curbs or obstructions in the path to the door.“
“Had dinner last evening and it was a delightful experience. My husband and I shared the ahi tuna appetizer which was delicious. I had beet and feta risotto with scallops and my husband had the fried chicken. Both were delicious. I finished my meal with cheesecake and as the rest of the meal was fantastic. Can't wait to go back!“
“We were out looking for a spot for breakfast late on a Saturday morning. We went here at the suggestion of our daughter, who worked her way through school in restaurants. This is a charming, country kitchen that is very clean. It is handicapped accessible. We were greeted by, Rain, the owner. She was very personable and made a fresh pot of decaf for us. While the coffee was brewing we took a look at the menu. It is a combination of traditional diner fare and some breakfast specialty omelettes. Two of the omelettes, the Italian and the Sicilian caught my eye. When Rain came to take our order, I asked if she was Italian, as we are. She replied that she was, immediately asking what part of Italy my family is from, something only one Italian would ask another. I asked if she could make a frittata. She said yes. It was excellent. Rain said she may add it to the menu. A good frittata in the capital district is hard to find. This place checks all of the boxes: great food, service and ambiance. One mile from Thruway exit 27 in Amsterdam. We'll be back.“
“Super cute highway diner ran by a family making classic diner fare. Prompt attentive service and smiles all around make this diner a must visit when passing along through the Adirondacks. Pricing is very affordable. Keep in mind it is cash only, but they have an atm on site if needed :)“
“Jen was the best ever. Food was amazing everything was fabulous. We are from Florida and are visiting family in town and she made us feel like family. She gave us a sample of the Mac and gravy and GOOD LORD, it was amazing. I’ll be back there everyday I’m here to get more and I let my family in town know about it. Love love love. “Great upscale place to eat. Very diverse small menu. Appetizers are great desserts are also. Entrees were good and surprising in their taste profiles. Reservations are a good idea. Small staff to serve all guests. Historic location....rumor has it that it is haunted.Parking: Small lot or street parking.“

“We have gone here for decades, last time Valentine's Day, and as always, absolutely everything was wonderful! The waitresses (aka dessert chef!) are great, everyone tried to make tour time there so enjoyable. The pork chops are perfect everything, the scallops were outstanding, the pie... We are so grateful they stayed open during the pandemic and remain one of our all time favorite places. Thank you Harold and staff, you make people happy.“
