“My partner couldn't stop singing the praises of beef on weck. We were in Niagara Falls at the end of September, and we came out here based on the reviews. We did not realize that they are about 10 miles from downtown Niagara Falls. It was so good, we came back the next day. They are extremely well worth the drive. A nice simple place, you can order outside in the front of the building, or inside. They have seating both areas. Everybody was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. They have won awards for their beef on Weck, and I can see why. You can get it with anywhere from 2 1/2 ounces for a lighter eater,, to a whopping 8 ounces of roast beef. The roast beef was tender and wonderfully flavored, the jus that they dip the top half of the roll in was heavenly, and I loved the kummelweck roll with the caraway seeds and salt. I can see why my partner is always singing the praises of this sandwich, and why it is a mainstay of the Buffalo area, For dessert, both times my partner had the frozen custard. The first time, I had the canoli ice cream. Delicious! It actually had pieces of canoli in it. The second time, I had the custard, and it was creamy and delicious. Much better than your standard soft serve. They are closed for the season, but they will reopen in March of 2024. . The next time we are in the area, we would stop by in a heartbeat. Thank you!!“
“De Dee’s is where it’s at when you want a taste of the coming summer. Truly has one of the largest selections of flavors. Cash only peeps! Wonderful friendly employees.Parking: Unique lot shapeKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. I mean they let me in.“

“The store looks great! We saw it while randomly driving around. We LOVE milkshakes as a family and these did not disappoint. We got the Oreo G, Takes two to Mango, Peanut Butter & Jelly and Reese's. They were all delicious and the return cup policy is great! We will definitely be back. Also the customer service was so friendly and helpful!!“
“A great cafe off the beaten path. Wonderful gelato, espresso, and service. Atmosphere was very minimalistic but out was perfect stop for our family after a day of activities. Coffee for the adults and ice cream for the kiddos. They even sell alcohol.Parking: Parking is in the back of the cafe“
“In Niagara Falls for a few days staying near Clifton Hill and wanted something other than Starbucks or Timmies. Found this little gem of a place in old downtown Niagara that I don't think most tourists venture to - tasty espresso, yummy treats!, and the owner (son of the original owners) was one of the nicest people I've ever met in Niagara. My new go-to for coffee here for sure!“
“This is a great Chocolate shop. It's nice that you can see the full assembly line of the chocolate being made & molded through the looking-glass area. The selection is also enormous. From popcorn, coffee, gifts, ice cream cake, and cookies, there's pretty much for everyone here.“
“the decorations inside are also cute, love any led sign. friendly and fast service. i purchased cakes to gift to my friends and they all LOVED them. i believe i got an assortment of whatever they had that day (red velvet cookies, and cream are some i remember off the top of my head). personally i am obsessed with their banana pudding because i think it tastes just like the pudding from magnolia nyc. a little far of a drive but i would say it's worth it (from amherst) just for their banana pudding. i usually get to go but would recommend sitting down in one of their booths if you have the time!“
“If you are in Canada and you want a local Canadian dessert pastry, you definitely need to get a Beavertail. Basically just a elephant ear with yummy stuff on top. I got one with Nutella and Banana and one called a MEHple which was covered in Canadian made maple syrup.“
“One of the best places to go in Chippawa! Ice cream flavours in the summer are neat. And the fall/winter offers keep growing. Subs and soups are so yum and a great price. Staff is always friendly. The owner is great. Not only does she runs. Great business and create jobs, but she’s always giving back to the community ❤️If you haven’t been. You definitely need to try. If you have this is your sign to go back.“
“I had accidentally placed an online order at a wrong location. I was totally stuck not being from the immediate area. Justin the manager understood my situation and handled it quickly for me.Customer service like this is RARE these days. That man deserves his kudos.“
“This was one of the most substantial and well adorned funnel cakes I've had. We shared between three (and put up the white flags) - could easily share between 5-6 in all honesty. Recommend (though not for diabetics or those with cardiometabolic syndrome)“
“This place has a distinct homey & retro vibe to it.Very good value for the price. We went to a Friday fish fry. The meal comes with ice cream. They have an ice cream counter with a large selection and very generous portions. They have whole, strawberry and chocolate milk which come in old fashioned clear glass dairy bottles. Very cool. This is strictly order at the counter and pickup your food when your name is called. They do a huge takeout business, at least for the fish fry, so all meals (even dine in) come in takeout containers. The quad tables are quite small, really only large enough for 2. The tables are quite close together. If you're looking for a dining experience, this is not your place. But if you're looking for really good food at good prices with a friendly atmosphere, this is your place. It's clearly a local favorite; it was packed when we went there at 5:30pm on a Friday night.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs available“
“Beautiful gelateria and caffetteria ORIGINALE italiana!!5 star to the food, price (very good promotion coffe + pastries), and Elisa the waitress was very kindThe espresso was creamy and sweet without adding sugar as it should be, the croissant with pistacchio was our favourite but also the fried bombolone (doughnut filled with custard cream) was superlativeWe also buy their pistacchio and chocolate cremes to reproduce their sweet to our home ☺️“
“100% YES!!!!Best sub I’ve ever had in the Niagara region.Very affordable considering the cost of food in 2024.Freshly made, very friendly, absolutely stacked with toppings and meats. She knew all her regulars names and what they wanted. A short wait as it was a one lady show and she had 3 people ahead of me waiting but it’s definitely worth the extra 5 min. Absolutely will be back with my family and friends.“
“This is such a cute place, we tried the wine and Gelato pairing event and we loved it. The place has a chill vibe with beautiful decor and the Gelato is very tasty. This is a versatile Cafe style place offering drinks, small bites, and of course a lot of gelato choices. It has a nice amount of seating, both tables and at the bar. We really enjoyed our time there and can't wait to experience the next pairing event.“
“Just an absolutely beautiful storefront on Delaware avenue and Victoria boulevard. Smackdab in the middle of this lovely little village. This place has the best local candy/sweets by far, maybe even in the whole country. That sponge candy though!“
“I visited Forno E Gelato on 3/8/2024 to check out what they had since we were early for our reservation at Frank Primo's next door. The gelato case was well stocked and there were several enticing items in the pastry case. As I asked whether they made Italian almond amaretti cookies, Rachel, the owner came in and we had a pleasant discussion about them, she looked them up on her phone on the spot, and forwarded to the pastry chef for consideration. I recounted my fond memories of visiting my sister in Brooklyn and enjoying almond amaretti, which often entailed extensive negotiations for the last one! Anyway, I purchased pistachio amaretti and Grandma whites cookies for later, and consumed salted caramel gelato (made by Forno E Gelato) at the end of dinner at Franki Primo's. The salted caramel gelato was excellent, with a nice ribbon of caramel through it. It's my favorite flavor, so I have a lot to compare it against. Forno E Gelato's salted caramel was in the top 3 best ones I've ever had (in competition with Siena in Snyder and a place in Italy)! The pistachio amaretti were also excellent with the perfect soft chew and great nutty flavor. Grandma whites cookies were good with a slight anise flavor, and just not a cookie I would normally gravitate to or rave over anyway. I'll definitely be back for the salted caramel gelato, the pistachio amaretti, and (hopefully) some almond amaretti!“
“I always enjoy visiting this place - the ice cream is consistently delicious and full of flavor. Their ice creams and chocolates are absolutely fabulous. With such a wide selection of ice creams and 'premade' sundaes to choose from, the possibilities for creating your own treat are endless! It's always a delightful experience.“
“Fowler's has the best chocolate and sponge candy in WNY! On a recent visit, we found the the décor and ambience cozy and delightful. A friendly, efficient employee helped us find the products we were looking for and the store had a great selection of candy in a variety of price ranges. We purchased Fowler's Chocolates dark chocolate sponge candy, chocolate bars in three different flavors, and chocolate suckers. Everything was delicious.“
“Just got a couple milkshakes and a small dish of the frozen custard (vanilla/pistachio twist, yay!). Come here semi-regularly. My favorite sandwich is a regular roast beef on a Kaiser roll with onion rings and mashed potatoes in the sandwich on the roast beef. Try it. It is outstanding!Parking: I've never come here and been unable to find a parking spot. I suppose it's possible, but I've never had that experience, nor have I ever seen anyone have it. The only time that it's difficult to find a spot is around Christmas because they sell Christmas trees ? in the lot; but even then I've never been unable to find one.“
“Love this place, actually this was the first time I'd ever been there , I'd always wanted to go and they did not disappointParking: I was riding my bike so I can't really say much about the parking, although they seemed to have a decent alot for a medium-sized allotment of vehicles maybe 20 vehicles at a time“
“Utterly charming. I've lived on Grand Island for five years and have only just heard of Casey's Cabana. It's a very nice little hot dog/burger stand on the Niagara River, with seating on a dock. It has a delightful "river rat" atmosphere. They offer much more than burgers and hot dogs, however, and they have ice cream, as well. Best of all, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It doesn't hurt, either, that the prices are ridiculously low. It reminded me a bit of Reid's in Lockport, only with a much nicer riverfront location.A very nice alternative to other similar places in the area. I'll be back again and again. I only wish I had discovered this place a long time ago.“
