“Great food, but posted hours may be slightly inaccurate. I came on Thursday at 11:55 PM expecting them to serve until 12 AM as advertised, but an employee told me they stop serving at 11:30 PM. They locked up and were out of the store at 11:58 PM. Great food though.“

“Great food and great service! The Dukaan Boys grill is a not-so-average fusion diner, serving classic American dishes with Arab and South Asian flavors. The diner is designed to give you that "NYC diner" feel. The aesthetic is chic and very modern with hints of vintage here and there (like their jukebox and black and white photo of the Brooklyn bridge). I love that they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner! My sweet tooth really wanted to get those baklava pancakes but I'll have to come back for it another time. Instead, I went with savory this time around... I got the chicken and beef shawarma platter, the chicken cheese sandwich, their amazing fries, beef and lamb kofta burger, and iced coffee. All the food was tasty! The shawarma platter hit the spot. For me, I would have loved more meat. But nonetheless, I loved it. The chicken cheese sandwich was seasoned so well. I could see myself eating this late at night with such satisfaction... I took my leftovers home so I probably will. lol. The kofta burger is as you would expect it to be! Delicious and giving you kebab feels. The coffee was strong... just how I like it! There is an alternative milk option if you don't drink dairy like me. There's also different syrups to try in your coffee like vanilla, hazelnut, and almond. They also have flavored creamers like caramel, almond joy, and Cinnabon. Shout out to Gio, one of the owners, who I met today... such a warm and friendly person. :) If you're looking for something new... this is definitely the spot for you to hit up!“

“Been wanting to try this place for a long time. The burgers? 12/10 get the farmhouse, and the A1 burger. Also homestyle tenders, big crispy and piping hot. The fries? “I can't believe this place is down the block from my house and I didn't know. Granted I just moved to the neighborhood, but I can see this becoming a favorite spot. The service was great( maybe the server name was crystal , I'm really bad with names ) ! Food could be at a 3 but if service is great that bumps it up to a 4 . “We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

Impossible hotdog was good, couldn’t tell the difference between a real pork hot dog. The fries were cooked PERFECTLY - crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. “This place is very close to Winthrop Hospital making it a good place to go while waiting while someone has outpatient surgery. I ordered the PS Texas burger which was very tasty with nice,crisp bacon. I changed up the side and got half onion rings and half sweet potato fries. Very accomodating staff. My sister had the PS Grilled Chicken and Avacado. She wasn't able to finish it because this thing was HUGE! Very generous portions all around. She took half of it home. Since we had a long wait, we decided on dessert. I ordered the Fried Vanilla Ice cream. It was done to perfection. My sister had the Chocolate Brownie with ice cream and caramel. The brownie was nice and warm , just enough to make the ice cream melt down the side of it. It looked really good and again, a generous portion.The time we went( 1:30pm) it wasn't very crowded so we stayed a long while and were not rushed out of the place. Worth stopping in for lunch and in my opinion, prices are very reasonable for the area.“

“Our favorite burger joint, we love coming here. Not only are they juicy and flavorful but the fries are always crunchy and fresh! This place has great vibes, live music on Fridays, and the nicest bartenders. Lily is a rockstar behind the bar, and always remembers my drinks. We had 2 drinks, 2 burgers and a carrot cake the finish, which was very moist (I hate that word but the cake was really delicious). They also have an outside seating tented area in the back, so it'll be awesome in the summer months.“

“I have been following this shop on Ig for a while and finally got around to trying it. Incan happily say I was not disappointed. I had the Jackpot with honey money mustard and my fiance had a chicken caesar wrap and we split drunken fries. All of it was delicious. Both of ours had plenty of chicken and taste. The fries were delicious and the vodka sauce was very good. Also tried the mac and cheese and it was good. Overall cant wait to go back and try more of the menu!“

“What an amazing cheeseburger! Perfectly cooked, perfectly cheesy, and perfectly flavorful! The bun was also perfectly toasted and the fixings all fit in perfectly with little to no mess. My 5 year old son finished 90% of the 2 party burger and we split a chocolate shake which was pretty good! We will definitely come again!“

It's not the best cheese slice but it hit the spot. It had a great thin crust but still held up together easily. It was light on the tomato sauce, which I actually wish there was more, but a good amount of melty cheese with a pretty good cheese pull. The crust was also nicely done. Pretty good pizza joint in the area. I'd get it again if I have a classic NYC pizza craving.“

“My wife and I went out to lunch today in Locust Valley, NY. Last July, the LVI Bistro changed owners. Marcel has owned the restaurant for over 40 years. They had an excellent reputation and their food and serve was always high quality. This was our first visit since the change and we found it was quite good. We sat down in the bar room and was greeted by the new manager, Andrea. He was very nice and gave us their new menus. Everything looked great from the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts. My wife wanted something light, so she ordered a Cesar salad with grilled chicken strips. I ordered a hamburger with fries. Rita, a waitress from the previous owner, chatted with us about the change and was very positive. There is a new chef, who prepares the food and has a quick turnaround. Both our meals were delicious and were served hot. We talked with the manager and he told us they were going to decorate and renovate the formal dining, the upstairs dining area and the bar room area. We were excited that this local restaurant was getting some loving care from the new owners.We enjoyed our lunch time and enjoyed our experience at the LVI Bistro. When we asked for the check, Andrea brought a dish of tiramisu with two spoons. He told us the desserts were all homemade. It was excellent and was a great way to end our meal.This is a new LVI Bistro and they made a great first impression on both of us. If you're in the Locust Valley area please make some time and try the new LVI Bistro. The service, the food and the atmosphere is great for a meal with two or ten people. It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. But I just cannot get over the pricing…like come on bro, $36 for a pie is insanity even considering the premium halal meats…most popular top rated pizza restaurants have pies with toppings priced well under $30. One time I ordered two pies and some wings and the order came out to over $120+ with tax…they gotta reduce their pricing. Also, the place is small, not much indoor dining space and the food takes a long time to come out so order ahead. Food is worth the wait but idk about the money“
