“An absolute hidden gem in Patchogue village for comida authentica Mexicana! We visited for lunch around the holidays for a quick bite. We got sangria and a michelada as drinks to start. The sangria had quite a punch and the michelada had me reminiscing about that one time in Mexico. We got a shrimp sopa to share which came out hot and was super tasty. Our tortas came quickly after. I got the mixto torta which had two kinds of meat, and we also got the Cubano. After they came out we realized we could have split a sandwich because they were huge. The sandwich bread was soft and the sandwich itself was delicious. Aside from the food we got, they offer kids meals and even breakfast! They also have your typical tacos and burritos. I also loved the ambiance of the place, really gave you that feel of Mexico. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try other things they have to offer.“

“I used to go to tropical smoothie after my workouts, but this… this is the place to go. Not only do they offer me a discount because I go to orange theory; and this place is immaculate. So clean and inviting, and so is the staff. They are diligent and the prices are very fair!! The smoothies and the food are incredible. I wish they were open every day of the week and later, I do workouts on Sundays and weekdays late at night. So when I can come in after a workout, I’m hyped. “You will not find a sandwich shop with a more friendly staff, larger menu and outstanding catering services. They are the most accommodating people who genuinely like what they do. The place is always packed. From personal experience I can tell you their meatloaf is to die for, they catered our event for 200 people and it was flawless. Their round 3ft heroes saved us space on the tables and were so much more appealing. I cannot say enough about the Sayville Sandwich staff. Absolutely wonderful!Vegetarian options: We ordered American, Italian, and vegetarian hero sandwiches and the vegetarians were the first to go!Dietary restrictions: They custom make their sandwiches just for you.“

Most importantly they’re open very late when most other food places are closed.Tonight they let me try their new menu item “sloppy burger” which is a huge juicy piece of fried chicken tender, crispy pickles and various sauces (caution, spicy level is high but can likely be adjusted) on a small bun. I also like that you can customize the deal and pick which chicken, pasta and side dish you want. The inside of the place is new and modern. It is also immaculately clean. Another time On Christmas Eve I ordered fried calamari for take out and they were so so nice & able to accommodate a last minute order. The calamari was great too with a spicy marinara! I couldn't believe that each dinner came with your choice of soup or salad AND bread sticks! I chose the salad & it was big. My fiance chose the pasta fagioli & that was also big. The food was delicious & we both ate 3 times each out of our food because that's how much food we were given. And what REALLY impressed me was how i only spent $34.50 (chicken $21 + pasta $13.50) and received all that food. I'm used to going to my local pizzeria/restaurant & paying almost $40 for the same type dishes WITHOUT salad and/or soup. Granted, you get a piece of plain ole Italian bread but here you get those awesome buttery garlic bread sticks with your meal. When I've ordered from my local place, I got a chicken dinner ($21), pasta w/meat sauce ($18) & a small salad ($8). Do the math...$47. Here, not only is the food soon good but I save about $12 AND get another soup or salad as well. Also, the girl that gave me my food & rung me up was very sweet & friendly. I highly recommend O.G.“

“This place is amazing! They are compassionate and empathic. We should have more of you around.So I live in Texas, and my father in law was admitted in the hospital for a life threatening condition. I was trying to order food for family member that was taking care of my father in law in the hospital. I tried to use Uber eat but all effort was abortive.Then I google this beautiful hero place, when I called, I was told that they don’t deliver, but when I explained my situation, they told me they will take my order and they will deliver the food to the hospital. The selection was better than many of the surrounding sushi joints in nearby towns, and it the rolls were better overall. Prices were a bit less, but it also helps that they give a 10% discount for online ordering. And, online they also gave a free appetizer if you were over $50. The garlic roll was interesting, and unique, and the menu has a decent number of non-tempura (fried) cooked rolls which is a nice change also. Inside the restaurant there was only a couple of tables, so they probably do most business to-go.“

Chicken parm the tray was a little light on cutlets compared to others but it tasted great so it is what it is. Plenty of pasta and eggplant in the other trays ordered.
