“We keep coming here for the atmosphere, but their service is also really great even when it's crowded for an event! My only major complaint is that they don't have enough pop-ups for food (and when they do, it's typically during hours when we're not there unfortunately). It's a great place to also explore new wines and beers too - I like to bring people from out of town here for a glass of wine and to get out of the house!Dietary restrictions: I haven't been for brunch (which I have heard great things about), but I personally wish they had more pop-ups during the week, even if it's just appetizers! The pop-up chefs typically can accommodate dietary restrictions, just talk to them and ask if they have an alternative (it varies from place to place).Parking: The lot is small and typically full of cars. It's best to park on the street or in the municipal lot around the corner (with a back entrance/walkway for easy access!).Kid-friendliness: In terms of safety, there are a few things here and there that a kid could bonk their head on, but it's overall a kid-friendly establishment. We regularly pop in with the dogs and kid in tow and the staff and patrons are always accommodating and friendly!“

“The name of the restaurant reminded me of an old Dr. Seuss book, but I didn't see any parades, magicians, or long-bearded men there. The atmosphere was very nice, and I can't comment enough on how friendly our server was. The food portions appeared to be very large, but very tasty.I ordered the Meatball sandwich (minus the cheese because I weirdly don't like cheese, except on pizza and some other miscellaneous items I don't have time to go into), thinking I would get a sub with a number of meatballs on it. But oh no! I received a hamburger bun with one giant, and I mean GIANT, meatball sandwiched between the bread. It was grand! It was fresh! It was amazing! I also got a side of fries that ended up, to my surprise, being freshly cut. And like any good little Italian restaurant, they had freshly baked bread with yummy olive oil and pepper flakes to dip in. I wasn't able to check out the dessert menu this time around, but if I'm back again, I definitely will! I'd love to check this place out for dinner sometime on a future visit to the area. Good thing Google will remind me I ate here now next time I'm in town. Check this place out if you like Italian and you're near the Port of Buffalo! The prices seemed fair, and in the end, there is no need to make up any stories about this place!“

Cork & Vine OP Wine Bar • $
4211 N Buffalo St, Orchard Park - 5.7 miles

“I participated in a wine and cheese event recently at the newly opened wine bar hosted by Mark and Tara, with wines provided and procured by Rick and September of Cuvée Imports. Needless to say it was a wonderful evening with wines hand picked by Rick from familial and generational vineyards throughout France and Italy, and spectacular cheeses from The Cheese Factory, also in OP. A great time was had by all who attended, and I believe most of the wines, very reasonably priced by the way are available at Mark and Kris's shop, Brierwood Wine and Spirits in Hamburg. I look forward to my next visit!“

“We had a fantastic experience at Mangia tonight!!!! Our server Wilyana (sp?) was probably the best server I have ever had. All of our appetizers and entrees were flavorful and very generous portion size. 2 glasses of wine, salad, appetizer, pizza and three entrées, and dessert were only $140. We can’t wait to go back!!!“

“I've been eating at Pasquale's since I was a little kid (the Derby location, though). The linguine with mushrooms and peppers, the eggplant parmesan, and the pasta and broccoli are my go-tos. Family from out of town must have Pasquale's pizza and wings at least twice per visit, it's mandated. Just a solid restaurant. I don't always want Pasquale's, but when I have a taste for it, nothing beats it.“
