“I was on a business trip to Islip, up from Florida. I usually look for a sports bar when I travel and this was close to the holiday inn where I was staying. Great atmosphere, girls behind the bar were very efficient and helpful. I ordered the "Irish Nachos" after reading it had a shepherds pie topping. I'm originally from England and so this caught my attention. The food was amazing, plenty of it, delicious and well priced. I swilled it down with a great pint of Guinness. Plenty of TVs to watch sport and comedies and music videos. Highly recommend it.“

We ordered the irish sliders, grilled cheese, as well as the mac & cheese (it was a cheese kind of night). Will definitely be returning to try other menu items. “Had my wife's retirement party there last Sunday and that was the second catering event we have had there. We had over 70 people and they easily accommodated us. The food was fantastic, wait staff was courteous, friendly and very professional. Well done Flanagan's and thank you very much.“

“1st time at this place. We were party of 3 and Jess was our waitress. She was so great! She was very attentive to my sister's allergies and always checking on us..Fries, mozzarella sticks, and steak quesedilla were so good.. Drinks were great too! Definitely will be coming back!!“

“The service, food & drink were all excellent! Used to practically live in this place in the 90's when it was Lily Flanagan's. The name and decor has changed but the hometown atmosphere is just as good as I remember it!Seeing Lanny behind the bar also was a nice connection to the past. The beers were nice & cold and Lanny was right there with a refill without having to ask.We also ordered some appetizers, which were all excellent. We ordered a big pretzel, mozzarella sticks, and wings...and everything was great and the portion sizes were large enough to share!I don't live in the area anymore, but I will definitely go there again when I meet up with my friends!“

“Ate here with family, total 6 adults and a toddler. High chairs were available and there is a private family restroom with a baby changing table. Took a long time to get our food, about 50 minutes starting from sitting down. They did have other larger parties present and it seemed busy. So we spent about a good 2 hrs total. Our waitress was friendly, but we didn't see her too much throughout our dinner. The rest of the staff interaction we had was good, everyone was nice. Everyone liked their food from the potato soup, IPA chicken, steak to New York style cheesecake. I had the chicken pot pie, served with a puff pastry on top and bottom. It was good, everything a chicken pot pie should be, creamy, thick and comforting. Atmosphere was nice. Lots of booth seating and lights. It was still decorated with Christmas decorations in the side corner where we sat.“

“Great music. Went specifically to see a particular band and the music was awesome. Courtesy of some rich guy that loves the band also. He rented the band and the front half of the venue for his 60th birthday party. Happy birthday and thanks for the present.“
