“My family traveled here to West Point Ny to attend my FILs funeral and needed a place to have a dinner for 50 people the night before the funeral. We chose Delizias Pizza Kitchen in Highland Falls after reviewing their website and speaking to Tony about using their party room. We were very impressed with the service, the large selection of salads, appetizers, drinks, pastas and desserts Delizias provided us. Every dish was extremely tasty and our guests were very satisfied with the selections. The desserts were so good, we chose the Tiramisu and chocolate cake. “Every once in a rare while you might find something so exceptional that it changes an entire genre. I did. It's name is Baci Pizzeria. And I don't think pizza will ever be the same for me.The pizzas here are like nothing I've ever had, all made with a high-hydration sourdough and allowed to rise far longer than usual. Those long, slow steps take extra time and effort, but create an unusually flavorful dough that turns good into extraordinary. That seems to be how pizza begins at Baci.We tried two different pies this trip. A basic round pie with soppressata, red sauce, mozzarella, and hot honey. Plus a Detroit style square with prosciutto and arugula. There's no question we'll be back for the others and whatever may pop up on their Special of the Week menus.The crust of this round pie is fairly thin, a bit chewy, and flavorful enough to be its own happy event. The red sauce is reduced almost to a jam, pushing the acidity of the tomatoes toward an intensified umami. The result is incredible and I haven't even finished my first bite.That basic deliciousness is topped with a bit of mozzarella and just enough hot honey to announce that this is something different. And the result is somewhere between WOW and WONDERFUL. As I said, like nothing else.That round pie looked a bit small at first and the toppings seemed minimal. And yet this may be the most opulent slice of pizza I have ever eaten....The I got to the Detroit square and my knees were knocking in joy... That's the pie I want to take with me to eternity.Only an inch or so tall and barely five inches wide it may seem small at first glance. Don't be fooled. All the goodness has been condensed into this astonishing little masterpiece. The dough takes center stage here and prosciutto adds a richness that's balanced by the sharp tang of arugula.That's the key to almost everything here - balance. I believe there is a handicapped parking space but no access isle next to it. There are additional spaces on the side of the building and around back. I've always been able to park my lift equipped van on the side of the building and get out of it without a problem. The entrance has a vestibule and getting through 2 sets of doors using a wheelchair is challenging. Once inside, there is ample space and bathrooms are accessible.“

“Amazing food. Food was so good my wife enjoyed the leftovers and it tasted just as good as when it was served. The eggplant parm was delicious. We started with a caesar salad and it was truly amazing. We had about 13 of us who enjoyed a nice lunch after a hike, and they attended to us very well. There are seats facing the river which is even more beautiful. The menu is diverse and i actually enjoyed everything that i tried. The spinach mushroom gruyere pizza was really good. And, the bread they serve at the table is also amazing! Foccacia bread and we dipped it in olive oil. Lots of bangers at this place. A couple of guys got some orange beer that looked amazing. Highly recommend. It's cash only, which is a bit of an inconvenience, but the food was so good we were excited to pay them lol 10/10. The chef even came out to thank us. “Romano's started as our favorite and go-to pizza place in the area. We've recently used them for catering, and they blew away our expectations, the food was absolutely delicious! All of our guests loved the food as well. So we will be going back for more than just pizza. They always, always deliver on time, both when delivering our pizza and the catering orders.When we call, they know who we are, when we walk in, they know who we are. We are always greeted so nicely and the owners are always accommodating. We have toddlers and they are just so nice to us and them and so patient. The round pie was very good. Sauce had a nice tang, was thing and had a nice crunch. The show stopper was the Brooklyn Pie. My goodness, was it absolutely delicious. The sauce was more robust, had a bite to it and the pie was thin and crunchy. Absolutely amazing. My wife and I nearly ate the entire pie between the two of us. We will definitely be going back!“

The food and service were really top notch! And the menu supported many different dietary requirements from vegetarian to gluten free. They can accommodate large parties, but its also great if you want to stop by for a seat at their spacious bar and have a drink and appetizers or a pizza. And I also want to mention we had I think the best gluten free dessert I've ever had. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
