“La Patisserie Normande is the absolute best! Our friend recommended it to us when we moved to the area and it is truly incredible that talented Antoine has blessed our tiny town with the best pastries, desserts, and quiches! When planning our wedding, honestly there was no one else I’d rather entrust with my wedding cake. Antoine is a perfectionist and he made our cake dreams come true! The whole process was delightful, from the tasting where we tried each component of the cake separately to coordinating additional items with Mary Jo (macaroons for our ceremony, quiches for my bridal party and family the morning of our wedding) to the day of our wedding when Antoine hand-delivered our cake and let us borrow his beautiful wooden cake stand. A cake for 110 people is no easy task, especially when it’s coated in marzipan (in July no less!) and it was honestly most delicious cake I’ve ever had! Photo Credit: Lev Kuperman“
“WOW WOW WOW I just purchased two small bags of cookies at the popular Stormville flea market. The lemon white chocolate chip is DELICIOUS. I haven’t tried the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie yet. I’m hiding from kids while enjoying these cookies!“

“Must do stop when in Hunter. Hours are limited off peak season. But makes your day between 8am to 3p for your coffee and snack break. The daily made brioche makes you a fan, especially with their local butter and jelly. I am a huge fan of their coffee which is just hot enough where you get the hit of coffee smell to validate its freshness. The bathroom is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive. And local merchandise makes nice house warming gifts.“
