“Came here by accident and it was the best decision my family and I made! SARA IS THE BEST!!! Great server, she made awesome food suggestions (our family and I had the dumplings, the tres leches and it was delicious), and overall made the atmosphere and the food a wonderful experience since she was so pleasant! As for the food the meat is absolutely tender—I mean falling off the bone, and you can tell that everything was made extremely fresh! I’d come here every day if I could! It is definitely a place to bring your family to.“
“The food is great. Always get the Qabuli. The meat is always cooked to perfection and moist. Service is great. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to dilute the fabuloso cleaning solution with more water so the place doesn’t smell like chemicals while dining-in. Everything looks super clean though! “Excellent food, outstanding service! The crazy kebab is way beyond the hype you can eat at 100 different halal spot on Long Island and won't find anything like it. Everything else on the menu is phenomenal and you can tell it's made with love. The service is great, if you decide to stay and eat there they never stop tending to you. Every time I've gotten take out has been amazing as well. I would highly recommend this place.“
“Great spot for late night takeout Afghan food.I found out that this place is open until 2 am most nights, so that was a pleasant surprise. I got an order of mantoo, bolani, and a combo to go for dinner.The mantoo had great tender dumplings with a tender meat filling. The flavor had a small spice to it, which was unique and tasty for sure.The bolani was very crispy and flavorful. The potato inside was seasoned and cooked to a great consistency. The pastry was a little too greasy for my liking, but I just patted it down with some paper.The combo was huge for the price. 3 large kebabs in total with chicken tikka, lamb Tikka, and beef kofta. The lamb was the winner of the 3. Ultra tender and so much flavor. The chicken was on the drier side, but the large cup of sauce made up for that. As far as beef kofta goes, this was decent. It's hard for me to rate kofta accurately because I prefer tikka.Overall, I was very satisfied with a good meal. I know for sure I'll be coming back for some late night food. Also, I had leftovers, and they reheated very well.Parking: Pretty much just street parking. I believe the lot belongs to dunkin.“

“My family and I have been coming to Kabul Restaurant in Huntington for over 25 years. I can't say enough about how much we love the food and the service here. For over 20 years I haven't had one less than wonderful experience on my visit there. We are a large family and have all grown up on this food. Now we bring our children to this wonderful place continuing our traditions. We have used Kabul for catering birthdays, graduations and my wedding. This is small family operated restaurant, the family is beyond welcoming and warm every time we visit. They truly are such gracious folks and their staff has been there since we've been visiting keeping up with the consistency in food and service. And I love the decor, they have pieces which the owners brought into the US from Afghanistan to make you feel like you are in a special place. At this point it's like coming home when we see them as they have been apart of all our special moments including getting old. I have moved out of Long Island but my family and I drive out to Huntington to visit Kabul once a week for my Afghan Food fix. Ive tried other Afghan restaurants but nothing has come close to how delicious their food is. And you must order desert and their highly addictive delicious Chai Tea latte.“
