“Stopped in around 130 to get tuna on a bagel. The place was empty so I was able to order quickly. The bagel was a bit stale but it was late in the day for these guys as they close at 3. The tuna was good and so was the service. They were not very friendly but they were professional. They have a good selection of bagels and toppings. There are a few seats, so eating in would not be an issue here. The place is plain, but it's a bagel store. The restaurant is clean, although I did not check the bathrooms. Prices are average for a bagel store. If you are in the area and want a bagel, this is a good choice. This place is in a small shopping center so parking is not a problem.“

I decided to drive by the complex to see what stores were still there. I noticed Lavender Cupcakery but, it was closed that day.I did a quick Yelp search and,it immediately got my attention. I decided I would pick up desserts from here for my brother's bday. I picked up the following cupcakes :pistachio, rainbow cookie, Oreo, limoncello,red velvet, and strawberry shortcake. My family loved all the flavors, it was a complete hit. I loved the s'mores macaron and pistachio cupcake the most.I will absolutely be coming back. “I am so happy that they expanded their hours. I would always get to Babylon after work around 6 PM and they were always closed. I was happy to catch them. I was one of the last people to get their rainbow cookie Whoopie pie for the day. Definitely my favorite. So good! They should put two small, cute little tables in that alley, so that people can sit and eat their Whoopie pies because at the moment they really isn't an ambience. “My husband and I got our gender reveal cakes made here and we were absolutely blown away! From our initial encounter, the girls at the shop were so friendly, accommodating, and excited to help. We explained what we had in mind, a vintage style heart shaped cake with the middle filling being pink or blue to reveal what our baby would be. They COMPLETELY nailed the cake & it was not only beautiful but it was so delicious. We also requested a second cake, their signature tarte style, but in a heart shape decorated either pink or blue to share with our family once the reveal was over. “Adorable little breakfast spot! We got there just before the Saturday rush and were able to sit right away with no wait. Everything about the place is sweet, the decor and the staff. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. We did wait about half hour for our food but we didn't mind. I had the breakfast sandwich which was delicious! “I am a former NY'er that came to visit family and do some college visits with my daughter. Stopped in to St. James Bagels on accident and I'm so glad I did. Had their breakfast bagel with eggs and bacon and it was absolutely delicious. Eggs were fluffy and the bacon was perfectly cooked. The people there are wonderful. In particular there was an older gentleman there (can't remember his name), who was so genuinely kind to me and my daughter and also very funny. My daughter absolutely loved the place, both the food and atmosphere. It is my go to place whenever I am back in NY to visit.“

“Great little greek bakery. They also have packaged items from Greece and frozen foods. I took my 90 year old mother there, and the 2 women working in the store were super friendly and helpful. We found many items that aren't readily available in most stores. The baked goods were excellent, we bought baklava, galatobureko, spanakopita and tiropita. I recommend all of them. Again, the women working there were very friendly and helpful, beautiful on the outside and on the inside. My mother was very happy that we stopped at this place. Thank you for a great experience.“

“I came to the bakery on Easter Sunday early in the morning after going by a local bakery and seeing a huge line. I remembered someone recommending this bakery so I drove up the road and decided to stop by and give them a try. My first impression of the well decorated simple and the cakes and desserts really stood out. They even had a section for dog treats that were made for the pups. The customer service was exceptional. The young lady who helped me with my pretty large order considering I was going to two Easter festivities and was in charge of dessert was beyond helpful very patient and very welcoming. When I arrived, of course I took time looking at the cakes and desserts that they had to offer and I was unable to make a choice. I finally did make a choice and decided on the bunny cake, which is white or vanilla cake with chocolate and buttercream, and I also got a rainbow cookie cake, which was phenomenal not dry, it was delicious I also got the assortment of Italian pastry, platters with cannoli Napoleons and tarts, and those were delicious as well. I got a small box of cookies which were good as well as a box of assorted donuts, and linzor tart. I wish I would've taken pictures of everything that I purchased, but unfortunately I didn't. I must say everything that I tried. I had a small sampling at the different events. I went to that day and I must say I was not disappointed at all by anything that I purchased, the lobster tail was delicious. It was right amount of crunch. It was not soggy and the inside was just perfectly sweetened. I would recommend recommend and have been recommending this bakery to everyone I come across. I must say it's way better than it competitor which is down the road, but it's also a little slightly more expensive but like I've told everyone I rather pay a little more for gracious service a pleasant experience and a great product. Kudos I think I have my regular bakery and I hope to try other delicious treats from here very soon.“

“This was my second visit to this adorable shop. The displays are always filled with delightful treats and an amazing variety. Last time, we sampled one of each of their macarons. Perfection. From the feet on the macarons to the light but flavorful fillings, we knew we had to return for more treats. This visit the macaron shelf was filled with small individual cakes. We could not resist. We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cakes and I opted for a black and white cookie as well. Service was fast and the ladies at this shop are very amicable. I appreciate and value good service and this location is top notch. The store is clean and they have a drink station also. We will most definitely be coming back again. I just have to try the spritz cookies. I would like to perhaps get an assortment to try one of each.“

“I was in search of a Colombian bakery and this one is excellent! I'm not an expert but I highly recommend the empanadas and the almojabana. Both were freshly made when I went in the morning. The almojabana was just perfection: crispy on the outside but soft and so cheesy on the inside. The empanadas were super tasty too: packed filling of potato and meat. The sweet pastries (got pineapple and guava) were standard but not as amazing as the savory goods.“

“We have patrons Fritsches Bakery since the mid-50’s ( Not counting the time they were closed ) and always enjoyed their deserts. My husband and I went on Sunday (4-24-24) to purchase assorted cookies for a family gathering. The cookies were fresh, moist and absolutely delicious and the lady that waited on us was friendly and happy to help us.Today (4-18-24) my hubby and I stopped by to give ourselves a treat for breakfast, he wanted rolls and I wanted Tea-Biscuits. There were no other customers inside the bakery and I quickly ordered the 2 Tea Biscuits I wanted, I like them very light in color and the woman behind the counter grabbed one then picked out one that was her choice not mine, I said I didn’t want that one but she never offered to replace the biscuit with the one I wanted. My husband ordered his rolls and he too likes them light in color, he only wanted 3 and as he is trying to pick the ones he wanted she would grab one and place it in the bag before he could even tell her which one he wanted. When he said he wanted the lighter roll she very rudely said, “ You have to tell me that before I take them” then she rolled her eyes in annoyance. This might seem a silly issue to complain about but as Seniors and people who treat any and all employees with respect and kindness I just found it so rude of her to act that way and since the Bakery was empty and there was no need to rush us out or at least be pleasant if she needed to do something else. It costs nothing to be nice to your customers or at least if we were being to “picky” she shouldn’t have rolled her eyes at my husband. Thanks for listening.“
