“Got my baby shower deserts here. I asked my friend to pick them all up. We went to the shop in person before ordering. Ambiance is nice very cute but I wish they have a restroom. Service is good but to order for my party, I had to contact them thru instagram. All the food items I got were great. I also ordered some customized baby shower themed cookies which are $4.50 each.“

“My husband and I got our gender reveal cakes made here and we were absolutely blown away! From our initial encounter, the girls at the shop were so friendly, accommodating, and excited to help. We explained what we had in mind, a vintage style heart shaped cake with the middle filling being pink or blue to reveal what our baby would be. They COMPLETELY nailed the cake & it was not only beautiful but it was so delicious. We also requested a second cake, their signature tarte style, but in a heart shape decorated either pink or blue to share with our family once the reveal was over. The tarte cake literally made me cry that’s how beautiful it was and the macaroons were out of this world! 10/10 recommend thecookieshop for any of your special occasion bakery needs!“

“From the moment I contacted Michelle about the vision my niece had for her baby shower cake she was wonderful. The communication was excellent! She has such great flavors and fillings to choose from. It was a joy not to be offered the typical Italian cream cake. We sent a photo, chose the lemon cake with her signature filling, strawberry champagne, and it was perfect. I picked up the cake Friday at 12. Drove it to Jersey, it was packed perfect, and served it Saturday at 2. It was so moist and delicious. You could taste the actual strawberries. “I love this place. It's such a delight each time I come here. The bakery items are delicious and I love the torta mista any time of the day (make sure to ask for it on the Portuguese bread). I also recommend the chorizo bread if you want something very savory. And you can't go wrong with their Pasteis de nata. When I bring a mix of their baked goods to the office people go nuts for it. I can hear the stampede coming once I send out the announcement. Oh! And the bread! Oh my goodness. Great for home but also as a nice item to bring to a dinner at someone else's house.“

“I came to the bakery on Easter Sunday early in the morning after going by a local bakery and seeing a huge line. I remembered someone recommending this bakery so I drove up the road and decided to stop by and give them a try. My first impression of the well decorated simple and the cakes and desserts really stood out. They even had a section for dog treats that were made for the pups. The customer service was exceptional. The young lady who helped me with my pretty large order considering I was going to two Easter festivities and was in charge of dessert was beyond helpful very patient and very welcoming. When I arrived, of course I took time looking at the cakes and desserts that they had to offer and I was unable to make a choice. I finally did make a choice and decided on the bunny cake, which is white or vanilla cake with chocolate and buttercream, and I also got a rainbow cookie cake, which was phenomenal not dry, it was delicious I also got the assortment of Italian pastry, platters with cannoli Napoleons and tarts, and those were delicious as well. I got a small box of cookies which were good as well as a box of assorted donuts, and linzor tart. I wish I would've taken pictures of everything that I purchased, but unfortunately I didn't. I must say everything that I tried. I had a small sampling at the different events. I went to that day and I must say I was not disappointed at all by anything that I purchased, the lobster tail was delicious. It was right amount of crunch. It was not soggy and the inside was just perfectly sweetened. I would recommend recommend and have been recommending this bakery to everyone I come across. I must say it's way better than it competitor which is down the road, but it's also a little slightly more expensive but like I've told everyone I rather pay a little more for gracious service a pleasant experience and a great product. Kudos I think I have my regular bakery and I hope to try other delicious treats from here very soon.“

The almojabana was just perfection: crispy on the outside but soft and so cheesy on the inside. The empanadas were super tasty too: packed filling of potato and meat. The sweet pastries (got pineapple and guava) were standard but not as amazing as the savory goods.“

I’m a local to the area and have been going here for years and recommend it to family and friends from out of town. I love the unique building and the workers are so helpful and nice.
