“I went to Silo Chicken Truck in Liquid State Brewery recently and ordered 1 lb of chicken, the Silo Mac & Cheese, and the Wizard Green Curry fries. Most fried chicken has a lovely aroma and is flavorful only on the outer crispy skin but the inside has no taste, that is not the case with Silo food truck! I found the chicken to be juicy and flavorful! Also for sauces we got the Honey Mustard, the Gravy (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!), and the Red Pepper Mayo.On to the mac & cheese! I want to preface by saying that I am not the biggest fan of Mac & Cheese in general and I found Silo's to be slightly flavorless. It was a very creamy dish that lacked spices/seasonings. I would skip this and opt for maybe one of the flavored Mac & Cheeses (but you're not missing too much if you skip this entirely). The Wizard Green Curry Fries were also pretty mediocre to me. I thought the "coconut curry" sauce tasted nothing like green coconut curry. It mores tasted like a tamarind chutney that you might get at an Indian restaurant. I love green curry so these greatly disappointed me. I feel like if I were to come again, I would get the plain fries or the Disco Fries. The fries themselves were salty, thin, and delicious! The vibes in Liquid State/Silo were really good and fun; would not make a big deal out of coming back but I enjoyed the experience!“
“Classic brewery ambiance and atmosphere. We went here because of the food truck, but I'm a dummy and didn't look at the truck hours. Unfortunately they are closed monday and tuesdays! That's okay, we got a pretzel to hold us over until we could go grab dinner somewhere else. I don't usually like beer but the sour I got was fruity and delicious. It was a Strawberry rhubarb I don't remember the name. Staff was friendly and welcoming.“
“Very impressive. I've just begun to look for something better than Schweppes and Canada Dry to go with my rye whisky. I have a feeling I'd be wasting my time looking further than Ithaca Ginger Beer. I'd like a little more fizz but the tingle it leaves on the tongue afterwards is fantastic! It certainly makes me want to try the Root Beer!“
“What an awesome spot! Ambiance was airy, comfortable and inviting. We were treated with amazing Sicilian crust pizza with locally sourced pepperoni and leeks fresh out of the greenhouse. The beer was delicious, Porter Hill was especially tasty. Please come check this spot out!“
“Great service and delicious food. It was fun to see everyone talking and they even have a dart board. The fried haddock was perfectly done and the French dip was good. Horseradish aioli is not to be skipped! Nicely done apple crisp, creamy rich cheesecake, and great flavor to the carrot cake. You can even buy a bottle of wine to go which is perfect if you are staying in the hotel.“
“Excellent little farmhouse brewery. We had a flight, and each of the beers were unique, delicious, and had that farmhouse 'character' you look for in smaller breweries. Bar tender was very friendly and informative. The location is absolutely beautiful, with picnic tables scattered around a lawn, as well as some under a tent canvas. Come watch the sunset or hot air balloons in the distance, and enjoy!“
“A great place to go and grab a beer and some of the best pizza in the Ithaca area. The staff are all very helpful in helping me select a beer from their many selections. The atmosphere is light and open especially when you can sit outside.“
“Good beer, GOOD BEER, I like the industrial exposed trusses and concrete block atmosphere, I wish they had something more on the bitter side (hint hint) but clean tasting brews. Happy hour shuffleboard is great, but the smell of the Friday evening BBQ sandwiches was a huge distraction and caused me to play rather poorly, all in all a nice couple of hours spent drinking beer and shuffling…“
