“My husband and I were on vacation in Lake George this past weekend. We stopped by Dan’s farm shack. The chocolate chip cookies were the best I ever had!! We stocked up on the way out of town. We also tried the bread and the everything bread twists. Everything was so fresh. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.“

“Very cute cafe for breakfast serving excellent coffee in Lake George. You place your order when you walk in and it is delivered to your table. They were very efficient even with the crowd coming in. We liked Vero so much we came here twice during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, we all ordered different items from the menu with no complaints. I had the corned beef hash with two eggs and it was excellent. All the pastries and bagels were made fresh daily. We even noticed they serve ice cream and sandwiches. If you are visiting Lake George this is a must stop!“

“Being French, it’s hard to find good eclair in New England. I happened upon this bakery, because I was lost. I went in to ask for directions, and the smells were glorifying. I ended up with an eclair because I miss home. I have to say, this eclair felt like hope! Merci!“

“I like their bread and sandwiches - their breakfast sandwich is to die for! I also like their chai tea! But what makes me come back is the sense of community there and the support for the arts. I've noticed they go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and at ease. They are kind and ethical in all these little ways that add up to something amazing. They are a major support to musicians and artists who are growing - between their thursday night music night to their friday night open mike - and they put different artists work up on the walls. It's a special place with a lot of heart (and yummy food and drink)! I'm thankful they are around.“

“Eclairs and coffee were excellent and the staff very friendly. Horrible policies of the owners not allowing Eat in when they had tables in half the place. Not allowing customers to use bathrooms is inexcusable. Signs are so disrespectful also.“

“We contracted Dickinson’s Delights to cater a Friday rehearsal dinner for 75 and Sunday brunch for 85. The food and service were great, with thoughtful attention to detail. We received so many compliments on the food, desserts and staff from guests. We will definitely choose Dickinson’s Delights to work with again. Worth a trip from anywhere. Sweet and savory crepes are delicious, and Nutella brownies will make any chocolate lover happy.“

“I got married in December and Roxy was INCREDIBLE to work with and made the most amazing cake I’ve ever had. Everyone at the wedding was raving about the cake. Roxy was easy to work with, very accommodating, and brought my vision of a cake to life even more than I could’ve imagined. “Spectacular pot pies. The crust….oh my gosh, so flaky and buttery and savory. I dream about that crust now. The filling was so thick and rich with lots of big tender chicken chunks. I don’t even normally like pot pies but these have changed my mind. I will only ever get them here though! We ordered pies for all our Thanksgiving guests. It was the perfect all in one feast, requiring no side dishes and no work and no clean up! Best Thanksgiving ever! We also ordered the deviled eggs which were a huge hit, and apple pies which were perfect and homemade. I will always think to J Gallup for Thanksgiving from now on! It made hosting a zero stress event. I’m so grateful to the ladies for their tremendous amount of work making these homemade dishes. Everything was ready to go, exactly right, on Wednesday for pickup. I could not be more thrilled with the entire experience. Many, many thanks!!!!!!“

Well...thank you the cake held up on the trip which included a ferry ride. My family loved the cake and the only problem is that your bakery is not located closer! “Purchased half dozen before heading back to Montreal. Had 3 when we arrived after a warm summer drive (which explains the appearance). These were fantastic. Tasty, just the right amount of sweetness. The flavors were apple cider inspired. Highly recommend stopping if you're looking for some delicious doughnuts.“
