“Oh my goodness gracious, hands down the BEST food we’ve eaten in the capital region. When I tell you that every single dish we ordered was packed with layers of flavors and we physically couldn’t hold ourselves back from “just one more bite”, I am not exaggerating. Each dish was prepared fresh with equally fresh and top-tier ingredients making every bite one worth savoring. I have enjoyed so many variations of Tom Kha up and down the East Coast, and in PDX but none come close to the deliciousness that we had tonight. Beyond the excellent food, you have the friendliest, fastest, and most attentive staff with the kindest service paired with a warm, welcoming, energetic atmosphere. Bangkok Kitchen just won our hearts and we are loyal fans that will be back again and again!“

“The food is awesome. All the meet, seafood, and vegetables are very tender and fresh. The food came out quickly and ordering on iPad is very easy! Defiantly recommend this place. However, one advice is the waiters should take a look more at the customers, rather than just hiding in the waiters station and chit chatting. Every time we have to look for them and wait for them to come out from their station. I will say the bus boy is much better, they are polite and always bring the food out quickly and take the empty plates away. Anyway, the vibes in the restaurant are awesome!“

“I’ve only ever ordered on DoorDash (I’m a bit of a homebody) but I was BLOWN AWAY by how good their sushi burritos are! Easily the best sushi I’ve had. All of the ingredients taste so fresh, even after the 15-20 minute drive to my house! I’m not a huge tea fan, but love popping bobas, so I just order it with extra sugar! Today, I tried their macarons and they were also unbelievably delicious. I am so glad to have this restaurant as an option in my city!“

“BEST all you can eat sushi in Albany. Most people know other restaurants for their all you can east sushi but Ruby City is way way better. “Great sushi and appetizers - I do t think we have had a halfway decent meal, it has all been great. The sushi portions and appetizers are very generous. Due to the size of the location it does get very busy and there may be a wait, however it seemed like they have three different staff working each table to we were not left sitting and waiting for drink refills or sauce etc. if you can call ahead of time and get a nice window seat which will set the ambiance well for your dinner. Overall this is a nice cozy place with great sushi, just make sure you go fairly early in the Eve in to avoid the online order rush!“

When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. Oh, and the hot sake is splendid and at $6/bottle an unbeatable value. SO happy to know they are just around the corner. Sorry bao buns place but you lose, SakeCafe wins.“

“First time here and the food was delicious although there was one worker at the restaurant. it took a bit for the food and everything to come out. The atmosphere is nice and the menu is huge which I don't mind. The tea should have been served in tea cups not glass cups. Keep up the good work. It's a new sushi restaurant so it will take time for them to improve. Come on in and try them out.“

“Unagi is the BEST Sushi place in the area! During the Coronavirus Pandemic, they were closed for a few months and my partner and I were forced to eat from other Sushi places and ugh. None of the other sushi places on the East side of the River are as friendly, fresh, or as customer-minded as these guys. We went to other other places where the portions were skimpy, food wasn't fresh, they forgot our chopsticks, soy sauce was expired, poor customer service, etc. We've NEVER had any issue with Unagi. Every time we order out or dine in the experience is a 10/10. My partner and I used to live 10 mins away from Unagi and we would get it about once a week. Now that we live closer to 30 mins away, while we may not get it once a week, we will definitely make the drive for Unagi. Nothing else compares. My favorite is the 50 & 50 Roll :)“

You might not think the reverse would appeal to someone like me, but I love Kong Dog, which is basically hot dogs and mozzarella sticks made to appeal to Koreans. The dogs and cheese sticks are excellent, savory, sweet, crunchy AF. I highly recommend this place.“
